    Hi Andy,
no, the images are the right ones, but the categories are not the ones, I selected in the masonry options. The masonry headline lists all existing categories, even those, which have never been selected. That’s the problem – and doesn’t make any sense:
    Masonry categories error

    Hi Ismael,

all items are the right ones; they are from the chosen categories. But after clicking “Load more”, suddenly not only the selected categories are shown above the items, but also all other categories of the shown items. (fyi: the 2003-2014 cats are the year, a picture / item was painted)

You can see the issue in the screenshots:

    Thanx & best regards

in reply to: Sort Portfolio Items In Alphabetical Order #492001

    Hey Ismael,

ok, thanks. In the forum conversations (f.e. Andy said “it should work in your case”) I couldn’t realize, that the function custom_post_grid_query is just not for that case… And I didn’t expect, that portfolio itemes (in difference to normal posts) can only be ordered by date for prev/next.

So I’ll try it with the post types order plugin again…

But the other issue still exists:
In the masonry options for the pagination, I selected Show “Load More” Button at the bottom. After clicking that button, at the top of the masonry there a suddenly shown all existing categories, but not only the ones I selected in the masonry options. I think, that’s definitly a bug… Any solution?

    Best regards

PS: Same problem after updating to WP 4.3 and Enfold 3.3
    Any clue?

in reply to: Sort Portfolio Items In Alphabetical Order #489639

    Hi Andy,

I tried it again, but the function custom_post_grid_query in my child functions.php (as described in the
http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/change-the-sort-order-of-portfolio-elements/) has no effect. I also deactivated the plugin “Post Types Order” for testing.

But the items in the single item view (I’m opening them in an iframe) are still sorted by date, when when you click at the prev/next buttons at the left/right. Could you please check that (see private field below)?

And the next big problem: In the masonry options for the pagination, I selected Show “Load More” Button. After clicking that button, at the top of the masonry there a suddenly shown all existing categories, but not only the ones I selected in the masonry options. I think, thats definitly a bug… Any solution?

Thanks a lot for your assistance!
    Cheers, Stephan

Ok… got it, it’s a little screw in WP, not in Enfold: Posts and also Portfolio items can be ordered by that Plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/post-types-order/.
But it’ hard to nibble with the drag’n’drop method, when you have hundreds of posts or items…

Bye and keep care. God save Enfold ;-)
    Stephan

    UPDATE…
F***, that plugin overrides globally all individual selected sort options of each Masonry (content element).
So sorry, but back to the question: Any solution?

    Hi guys,

same problem (and I’m not using Functionality plugin): The solution at http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/change-the-sort-order-of-portfolio-elements/ does not work in my child functions.php. But – isn’t it only for the sort order in grids?

As Iclo I need to sort not a grid or a masonry f.e. in alphabetical oder, but the sequence of the single portfolio items, the user can skim through with the both arrows (called class=”avia-post-nav avia-post-prev with-image”) on the left and right side on every single portfolio page.

    Thanks for any help

Uuuuups! Sorry sorry, I was testing some elements and forgot to push back the former version. Now it’s online again. Could you please take a look once more?
    Thanks a lot,

in reply to: Remove Back/Forward Arrows for a single lightbox/iframe #479608

…it’s the grey historical worldmap on top of the homepage (it’s only one slide). The lightbox links are on northamerica, africa and – embedded via > Content > HTML – on southamerica.

    Cheers!

in reply to: Remove Back/Forward Arrows for a single lightbox/iframe #479338

    Hi Josue,
it’s a residue of an already developed site for testing (so don’t wonder, if something doesn’t make sense ;-)) See the link in the Private Content box below.

In the LayerSlider on the grey map, northamerica and afrika are embedded as colored layers as usaula via > Content > Image (with additional hover>opacity css – but that should not matter). They scale exactly with the background map.
Southamerika is embedded via > Content > HTML
    <div class="avia-slideshow"><a href="/oesterreich-impressum/?iframe=true" ><img src="/ourcontent/uploads/southamerica-col_330x356.png"></a></div>
and it doesn’t scale at all.

Thanks for your assistance – and regards

in reply to: Remove Back/Forward Arrows for a single lightbox/iframe #479009

    Hi Josue,

ok – but in the LayerSlider WP I have a problem, when I integrate images via HTML (in a div container): In a responsive slider these images don’t scale, they always keep the origin size. I also tried it with style=”width:100%; height:100%;” and with “auto”. Or do I overlook a detail?

    Thanks for thinking!

    Stephan

    Hi Basilis,

no, I don’t need to remove the ALL taxonomy. After the page has been loaded, the layout should be se same – but instead of showing all items (images / excerpts from all taxonomies) as the active selection, it should already show items of a preselected taxonomy.

So that, for example, the listing title/headline above the items/images grid looks like:
    TAX1_________________________ all / tax1 / tax2 / tax3
showing the “tax1” as active, because the “tax1” is already preselected.

    Would that be possible?

For comparison: Normally, loaded for the first time (without been clicked yet) the headline looks like
    ALL_________________________ all / tax1 / tax2 / tax3

    Thanks for your brain ;-)
    And best regards
    Stephan

    Hey Josue,

cool, thanks! That works. But I need that also for several layers (linked images) in the LayerSlider WP. There I tried to add the class ‘avia-slideshow’ to > Attributes > Classes, but that doesn’t work.

    Any clue?
    Thanks & best regards

in reply to: Image Caption ruins the editing in TinyMCE #474475

    Hi Ismael,

thanks for the link – but this is 50% rocket science to me… Do I have to put the lines “add_action( ‘admin_…” into the functions.php (in the child folder)?

Thanks for an answer and best regards,
    Stephan

I had some other things to do – hard work… But the issue remains still the same ;-)

in reply to: Image Caption ruins the editing in TinyMCE #453155

    Hey Basilis,
    sorry, but this issue happens
    a) with AND without the TinyMCE advanced
    b) only with the Enfold theme (I have other WPs running with other themes – and no problems)
    c) only when I’m editing those contents in Text-Boxes using the Avia Layout Architekt / Advanced Layout Editor. In usual pages/post, when I use only the Standard Editor an not the Avia Layout Editor, this issue does not appear.

Could you please put a second eye on it?
    Thanks a lot

    Dear Josue,
a final and – perhaps – stupid question: If there will be an update with changes in the main
    themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/magazine.php,
how will that work with the
    enfold-child/shortcodes/magazine.php?

    Many thanks,
    Yeti

Yeah! Thanx a lot, Josue. Works perfectly.

    Greets,
    Yeti

    Hi Josue,
thanks for your work. But the new magazine.php doesn’t pull the excerpt out of the portfolio post – now there is only a standard text issued: “This is a Page excerpt. It will be displayed for search results”.

This is more confusing, because in the footer in the first widget on the left under “Produkt-News”, there are the same three portfolio posts – with their excerpts.

    Best regards,
    Yeti

    Hey,
for first I wanted to try it in the original magazin.php at
    [wordpress-path]/ourcontent/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes
and only if it works, I wanted to put it in the child theme.

And yes, I already tried that step, but it has no effect – no excerpts are pulled and shown.
Even when I change the “if($excerpt)$output” to “$output”, it shows only the Read more link but no excerpt.

    All the best
    Yeti

    Hi Josue!

Yes. And in my case it concerns to the portfolio entries. For the > Layout Builder > Content Elements > Magazine > Portfolio entries an option to show their excerpts would be more than nice. For all and not only for the first/top shown bigger. But for them, the ($style == ‘small’) will remain empty I think.

    All the best,
    Yeti

    Hi!
same problem: changing / adding the code at line 577 still only shows “Read More”, but not the content of the excerpt itself.

I think because above in the magazine.php the $excerpt is not defined
    $excerpt = "";
and some lines below, if ($style == ‘small’) it will remain empty.

Right? Any solution? (’cause I’m not the greatest coder and wont’t play domino… :-)

    Cheers,
    Yeti

    Hi migduvednok,

just copy the enfold child folder into the /themes/ folder, change your theme to enfold child and write your individual css into the style.css, which you’ll find in the child folder. This folder won’t be overwritten with any update.

    Cheers
    Yeti

    Hi Rikard,

ok, that worked. But it doesn’t solve the originial problem with a feature in your product… And some of us don’t have any experience with FTP – what should they do?

    Best regards
