Dang.
hexsquare – thanks for going in first.
I’ll try this on my dev site and let y’all know what I get. And I’ll holler to Woo.
Hi Yigit,
Credentials below.
Here’s a good example:

Anything under “Ready-to-Wear” is similarly situated.Thank you very much.
Stefanie
Yigit – my images DO have descriptions. Every one of them.
EDIT: not descriptions – Captions. I have over 700 images that already have captions assigned. I need to get the Captions in there. I really don’t want to go back and re-do a different field on this many images. Is there a way to do this?
Thanks!

Hey Basilis,
I think you misunderstood me, my light box is fine. I’m trying get the image captions into the mix.. But if you’d like to take a look, I’m at https//:www.stefaniesomers.com
Check any of the e-com stuff – you can get there by going to Collections > Ready-to-Wear, and anything in that column is going to be in Woo.
The link belonging to the screen capture is:

I’m sorry if I wasn’t clearThank you!

Awesome, thanks Basilis!!
Well that’s a big “never mind”…. culprit tracked down. A plugin called “Root Relative URLs by Marcus E. Pope was causing my problem. Deactivated that, and all is well.
I am having the same problem: http://fiercefearlessandfabulous.com/
There is both a Fullwidth Easy Slider at the very top, and an Easy Slider below the first text block; neither is loading at all. I’ve updated everything, doubled checked my image files. I’ve checked on multiple browsers, and on mobile, as well as on incognito windows. I cannot get the slider to show for anything. I have updated to WP 4.3, and no difference.. still no sliders. (but a lot of other graphics are jumping around a bit on re-load)
In addition, the custom CSS y’all had me put in to tweak the logo (to make it invisible on page load, and to appear on scroll) is no longer working
elames: I checked you URLs, and I don’t see any sliders on either of your pages either.

June 18, 2015 at 5:25 am in reply to: Enfold & TinyMCE Advanced – Any known issues or is it me? #461072Hey Claudia – ~
I got tagged on this since the original question was mine. This is really odd.. I don’t have any of the issues you specifically mentioned, never have, even when it was totally messed up. I have been able to get TinyMCEAdvanced to work well, about 99% of the time. Sometimes it will just hang up, but I honestly don’t think it has anything to do with Enfold. I went through the process of disabling all of my plugins, and re-enabling all of them one at a time. I didn’t come up with anything that seemed to be in conflict, but that process itself seemed to “jumpstart” TinyMCE somehow. I suggest you try that – Disable everything, then bring up each one in turn. Can’t hurt.
Keep in mind that TinyMCE is a free plugin. Sometimes you get what you pay for.April 20, 2015 at 7:03 pm in reply to: Transparent & Glassy Header – Remove logo for Transparent portion of mode? #431518Thank you Rikard!!! That one did the trick PERFECTLY!!
Loving Enfold, and y’all’s awesome support!

Thanks so much! I must be doing something wrong here though … Code inserted, transparency logo removed. The theme is now pulling the regular logo in place of the transparency logo.
I’ve even tried pulling ALL the logos out, but I’m getting some sort of system lag there, and I’m still seeing the main logo. That may change, I presume, but the code definitely seems to not be working correctly – unless I’ve missed something. Any ideas?Update: the theme did update to “no logo” when I pulled out the main logo as well, but I cannot get it to show the main logo on scroll, but no logo on load, when in the topmost position – which would normally be showing the transparency logo (which has been removed from the system)
Thank you!

January 31, 2015 at 1:30 am in reply to: Possible to customize WooCommerce product page in Enfold? #388657Well dang. I had done that with everything but the one…. of course. The culprit was “Root Relative URLs”, a plugin that Rackspace automatically includes on all WP installs. Never caused a problem before. Feeling a little stupid that I didn’t check that one.
Thank you Andy, it’s looking good at the moment! You’re a lifesaver.
Stefanie :-)

I understand that completely, and I’m sorry if sounded as though I was requesting support for MCE. I was not. (although I have seen the fact that issues exist with specific plugins addressed here before) If you’ll re-read my complete question however, you’ll see that I also asked “Is there a better text editor that’s known to be compatible?” Is that something that you might be able to answer? Or is anyone in the community able to suggest one where you are not?
Thank you.Bless you. Did I do it THAT wrong? never mind, lol… I guess it doesn’t matter, but I obviously sure messed that up. Thank you, thank you!!!!
Thank you Josue. I’m a little panicked right now…
This reply has been marked as private.Yeah – think I broke my entire site. Can’t see ANYTHING now. The entire backend is gone, and my site has disappeared. Ideas? EMERGENCY!

Thank you Yigit. Where EXACTLY do I place that code, please. Again… Grandmother language. You truly cannot dumb this particular bit down too much for me. If you can give me a snippet of where it goes, before and after, and show it inserted, that would help immensely
Thank you!!

September 23, 2014 at 3:12 am in reply to: Re-Opening Enfold; 2.9.2 knocked Iconosquare Widget of page… #323426That’s great Devin… how do I fix it?
soooo….. somehow I seem to have fixed it. But I’m not sure how. I moved both widgets (Twitter & Instagram) back and forth between the “Displayed Everywhere” area and the “Enfold Custom Widget Area” (which is where they started out), and on the 4th or so move back, they snapped in. I don’t really understand how these two areas work, so I thought perhaps I had the wrong one – but they’re back where they started out. Please go in and have a look, ‘cuz this was very odd behavior.
This reply has been marked as private.Okay… I think I get it. Still a bit opaque, but the fog is beginning to clear.
Thanks so much~Stefanie
Hey Peter :-)
Okay… so it sounds like it’s an algorithm that “learns” as the database grows? That actually makes sense. 99% of my images are all the exact same ratio, although some of them are different pixel dimensions (i.e., 860×1024 and 430×512) so I’m guessing it won’t affect me that much except for that rogue 1%? The varying pixel sizes _won’t_ have any effect, correct? Those two sizes would display identically? I have a lot of older content that I’m porting over from an old website that’s the smaller size, but my new content is the larger size. There are many pages where I have both size images on the same page. I haven’t seen a problem so far – they seem to be mostly behaving with each other (except of course for the one that started this thread) but I’m not that far into the content merger yet. Do you foresee any other issues down the road on this?
Thank you VERY much. I can’t tell you how much I love Enfold, by the way. I worked with countless themes and builders before settling on this, and it’s truly amazing, and your support is absolutely world class.
Stefanie
Hey Devin,
Yeah, that plug-in that seems to have helped! Can you clue me in on that “Force same size for all big preview images”? I’m going to be adding an enormous number of images, in the thousands, and I’d really like to understand how this works before I get too deep in and need to backtrack on myself. I hate surprises… Is there a doc somewhere, or what can I look up? I’m still new to WordPress, but I’m a fast learner.
Thank you!!!
S
Okay…. How does the “Force same size for all big preview images?” work? Is there documentation on this somewhere? Where does it draw its instructions from? I think this may be gumming me up… In the “Gallery Big Preview Image Size” drop-down, how is the size given? Width by height, or height by width? I think there’s a combo of all this that’s causing my problem.
thanks!!!
S
Hi Ismael,
Thank you, but not quite sure what you’re telling me… All of the settings within the Gallery window are the same as they are on the pages that are appearing correctly. What is it that I’m changing or looking for?
Ismael, you are brilliant! So, this actually wasn’t something I screwed up? Awesome. You just made my week. Worked like a charm.
You are my hero :-)PS: One quick question – will I have to re-do this when the theme updates, or will it carry over?

July 9, 2014 at 5:38 pm in reply to: How can I make the top level menu item in a drop-down null? #289132Ah – well then, at least I wasn’t missing something in the theme or the dashboard! Thanks so much Devin, I appreciate it, it worked like a charm :-)
