Hmm. Not sure if this helps, but I just uploaded a few screencaps. For example, the first picture of the Blog page shows how it was (I still had the tab open from the day before). That’s how I’d like it to be again. The picture showing how it is now is narrower, with fewer words fitting across on each line.

Changing the maximum container width just now from 1310px to 100% didn’t trigger any noticeable change.

Nope. It’s still at 70/30 (and 100% total).

Thanks Vinay. You’re right, WordPress was showing that I was running the latest version (3.4.7), even after I just checked for updates last week.

The plugin you suggested worked. I’m running 3.6.1 now, and the Color Section copy appears. I appreciate your help!

Thanks. My front page shows the large photo of the orange and black microphone. I would like white text over the left half, just like how Howdy Guys! appears on the homepage of the Business Flat demo.

The Howdy text box is there but it doesn’t show up, nor does any other type of text I try to overlay.

I’m having this same problem. I still have the original Howdy Guys! special heading box loaded from the demo, but it doesn’t display over the Custom Background Image I loaded into the Section Background area. (I’m very new to this, so it could easily be something I’m overlooking.)
