Code is present in the Default Editor – switching to Advanced Layout Editor and content is gone.
Enfold Shortcode Praser shows no errors.
I have followed the troubleshooting guide here, to no avail: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/my-enfold-layout-builder-is-not-loading-properly/
Tried deactivating all plugins and flushed browser cache.
Tried on both Chrome and Firefox.
Using current versions: Enfold Version 4.4.1 / WP 4.9.8
Tried the plugin Autoptimize with no luckFound this in code:
<script type=’text/javascript’>var avia_preview = {“error”:”It seems you are currently adding some HTML markup or other special characters. Once all HTML tags are closed the preview will be available again. If this message persists please check your input for special characters and try to remove them.”,”paths”:”<link rel=’stylesheet’ href=’https:\/\/www.voicecarrier.com\/wp-includes\/js\/mediaelement\/mediaelementplayer-legacy.min.css?ver=0.9.5′ type=’text\/css’ media=’all’ \/><link rel=’stylesheet’ href=’https:\/\/www.voicecarrier.com\/wp-includes\/js\/mediaelement\/wp-mediaelement.css?ver=4.9.4?ver=0.9.5′ type=’text\/css’ media=’all’ \/><link rel=’stylesheet’ href=’https:\/\/www.voicecarrier.com\/wp-content\/themes\/enfold\/css\/grid.css?ver=0.9.5′ type=’text\/css’ media=’all’ \/><link rel=’stylesheet’- This reply was modified 6 years, 3 months ago by Jen.
August 19, 2018 at 7:41 pm in reply to: Columns set to “Equal height” are not displayed correctly #999048Hello, this is happening yet again. Content disappears now about 20 minutes into editing a page. Go to preview and a 90% of the content is simply gone. Have to restore from previous revision and new content is lost. Cleared cache, using latest versions of Enfold and WP, can’t find a pattern to when it happens except being 15-30 into editing.
It happens on several pages, not just one.
It can’t be replicated unless you start editing, adding, moving, columns in real-time.***PAGE CONTENT IS GONE AFTER KRIESI LOGIN***
Kriesi logged in a few days ago and now the content is GONE. This is entirely frustrating.
The whole bottom 2/3rds of the page is gone. http://www.voicecarrier.com/partnersI tried to restore from an older version. The content appears in the Editor, but it doesn’t render. What did you do?
The bottom 2/3rds of the page is now gone. http://www.voicecarrier.com/partners
“There is an issue with position: fixed on ipads and iphone, you need to set it to scroll.” What has an issue with position? What are you referring to? Where is it you can set an element fixed for ipads and iphone and scroll for another device?
Right now, I’d really appreciate just getting this page http://www.voicecarrier.com/partners fully responsive. It’s the most important page. Screenshots of the problem sections are, again, top of voicecarrier.com/responsive-problems/
Many many thanks!
HI Basilis,
Thanks for the kind feedback on the website. It’s my first one. And, it’s a good website because it’s powered by an excellent theme. I’m new at this with minimal HTML/CSS knowledge, so it really demonstrates the power of Enfold, in my opinion.Regarding the responsive problem, are you saying that every time one adds some level of customization to an element, they will have to write corresponding custom code for it to render responsively? That seems rather inefficient.
In the instance you noted, the solution is you can’t use fixed fonts sizes in Enfold without writing custom code. Correct?
How about the background images?
Appreciate the help,
NicoleAll WP, Theme and Plugins are updated.
Hi Rikard,
That is a minor problem. Let’s stick to the big, glaring ones. :)
Here is a page with screenshots of the problems and the corresponding URLs
Best Regards,
NicoleHi Rikard,
The site is http://www.voicecarrier.comHere are just a few pages with elements that are not responsive on smaller screens:
voicecarrier.com > content in top socket (phone numbers) don’t align correctly
voicecarrier.com/partners/ > several elements, mostly Color Section background images
voicecarrier.com/reseller/ > several elementsThank you
NicoleUPDATE: RESOLVED (for me)
Seems ThemeForest just pushed through the update. Enfold 4.2.2 now appears under Enfold Child > Theme Update. Enfold is there 4.2.2Same problem here. Can’t update from within WP. “Check for updates” says I’m using the most recent. Manual update via FTP is not an option.

January 18, 2018 at 6:05 pm in reply to: Columns set to “Equal height” are not displayed correctly #899221Hi Rikard,
Themeforest does not have 4.2.1 as the latest version? Where is 4.2.1? FTP update is not an option for me.
Deploying the update from inside WP under “Theme Updates” reads: “No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.2).”
Also tried “Check Manually” button. Shows I’m up to date.Access information provided below.
Thank you for the assistance,

January 16, 2018 at 9:27 pm in reply to: Columns set to “Equal height” are not displayed correctly #898160Hi Niko,
We are still unable to make changes to our site because the Previews don’t render correctly in the design phase. Updating to 4.0.7 did not correct the problem.
As a business, we can’t wait for an update with a fix. Please assist.
Thank you,

NicoleNovember 30, 2017 at 7:03 pm in reply to: Columns not displayed correctly after updating to 4.0.7 #883529HI Gunter,
The problem with the topic of this thread “Columns not displayed correctly after updating to 4.0.7” continues to occur. To recreate the problem I shifted the order of Color Sections, went to Preview, and the problem occurs.
I took 4 screenshots of “before” and “after” showing the columns in the correct order and then displaying incorrectly in the “Preview Changes” view. They are in the Media Library. The links are below.
Login credentials and screenshots are in private content.
Thanks
November 21, 2017 at 11:42 pm in reply to: Columns not displayed correctly after updating to 4.0.7 #879960Same here. We updated to Enfold 4.2, but still having the same problem. Change the columns to “Equal height” after the update and they are still messed up in Preview mode. Renders correctly when live. Columns are everywhere in Preview.
Please indicate a fix for this bug as the update did not seem to correct it.
Thanks
November 13, 2017 at 1:15 am in reply to: Columns not displayed correctly after updating to 4.0.7 #875900Has an update fixing this bug been released yet? The problem is still happening in which columns don’t display correctly in preview.
I am not entirely comfortable updating the php files. Will use the Enfold Theme issued updates instead. When is the fix/update coming please?
Please advise and thank you!
Never mind! Fixed!!
Hi Basilis,
The link provided is dead. Could you send the correct one please.

NicoleAugust 23, 2017 at 4:01 pm in reply to: Columns not displayed correctly after updating to 4.0.7 #843112All rows are set to “equal column heights” already.
August 23, 2017 at 3:55 pm in reply to: Columns not displayed correctly after updating to 4.0.7 #843105Same problem. Page rendered perfectly yesterday. Opened this morning and 1/2 columns are now full-width. Changed nothing. It’s a mess and I have a presentation on 2 hours. : /
Going back a revision shows difference in code at the end
Was:
[/av_four_fifth]
[/av_section]is now this
[/av_four_fifth] [/av_section]Happening on two pages now.
Hi Rikard,
A good example is here: http://www.voicecarrier.com/reseller/ scroll to the third-to-last section that reads “ALREADY A PARTNER?”. It becomes evident when you compare the text to the images. The text is nice and crisp. The graphics are blurry sans clean lines. Both were uploaded at 300dpi. I’m on a Retina screen, btw.
Thank you for the help,
NicoleThe Section backgrounds are not responsive. The first Section <Better together…> background image getting shifted down. The third Section <Why Partner with…> same thing. The last Section <Let’s Join forces…> isn’t even visible until the third input box.
Here is the correct layout –> http://quirktools.com/screenfly/#u=http%3A//www.voicecarrier.com/partners&w=1366&h=768&a=1&s=1
Here is the wrong layout –> http://quirktools.com/screenfly/#u=http%3A//www.voicecarrier.com/partners&w=320&h=568&a=37&s=1
Several other sizes aren’t rendering responsively as well.Hi Mike,
Thank you for the quick response. This fixed one of the two problems, being the logo overlapping the main menu. The other problem where some content not responsive on these pages still remains though. Two elements as seen on: http://quirktools.com/screenfly/#u=http%3A//www.voicecarrier.com/partners&w=1024&h=768&a=22&s=1.
Thank you in advance,
NicoleI’m experiencing the same issue with image quality being noticeably reduced in the thumbnails with pixelation and artifacts. The images will render fine in the WP design interface and the Media Library, but render poorly on the live webpage. Any solutions or suggestions? I’d go SVG but appears you can’t upload that format.
I did. Determining the correct (extended) class name is not easy. I use Firebug to find it, but it’s always a P.I.T.A.
For example, just
.referral-social-icons
wasn’t enough. It also required
.av-share-box ul li aAny suggestions, hints, magic to doing this. I’d do a lot more custom classes and ask less questions if this were easier.
(sorry, don’t know all the lingo)
