Hi LearnSAP
Hoping someone from Enfold will reply with a fix.
Layer Slider has stopped displaying on iPhone, but displays fine on Android.
Tested in an office with various people
March 13, 2018 at 5:48 pm in reply to: Enfold Masonry Gallery Links defer second Gallery with Same Images & Lightbox #926169I agree.
Enfold Team…
can you please let us know if the Masonry gallery can be modified to allow unique links on the same media library image used in multiple galleries in an upcoming theme update?Thanks!
March 13, 2018 at 5:26 pm in reply to: Enfold Masonry Gallery Links defer second Gallery with Same Images & Lightbox #926157Same issue.
I use the masonry gallery on different pages of my site. If I want to use an image from my media gallery on two different masonry galleries, the issue arises if I want to have different links applied to those images within their respective galleries. The link applied to the image gets ‘fixed’ to that image.

Good to close.
Thanks!Thanks for clarifying Mike.
Works fine.
Hi Victoria
I’m not sure why you have the opening and closing php tags in your add_action code. All the other actions/functions I have in my function.php file don’t have this. I have one opening php tag at the top of the page, and then all my actions/functions go directly after it… none of which have their own opening and closing php tags.
If I use the code you provided I would have to close my existing opening php tag, directly after all the current actions/functions I have… and then use your code.
I could be very wrong, but please advise as this doesn’t seem correct.
Thanks!
Hi Rikard.
Can you please instruct on how to get Google’s new type of tracking code (Global Site Tag) to go into the Header and NOT the footer… using enfold’s functionality… and not by adding another plugin to do this.
Thanks
I’m also looking for a solution to this.
Enfold Team, please let us know if this is possible. hopefully we don’t have to upload duplicate images into the Media library if we simply want to reuse an image in different masonry galleries on different pages.
For example, on one page I have a masonry gallery that uses an image which I’ve put a custom link on that takes the viewer to a specific page. On a separate page I have another masonry gallery that I’m using the same image but I want the image to open in a lightbox. Unless I’m doing something wrong, that isn’t possible.
Please advise.
Thanks!

Unfortunately I haven’t solved this issue yet. For the time being I’m simply using the full-width Easy Slider until I have some time to do more testing.
As for Ismael saying: “He added the “flag_popup” column manually in the “wp_layerslider” table in the database. Please create a backup of the database before doing this“… that ISN’T correct as I DIDN’T do that. I was only stating the error message I saw when I turned on debug.
August 12, 2017 at 7:39 pm in reply to: LayerSlider not saving edits to existing slider nor allowing new slider #837996Hi Support Team!
Okay, so here’s where we’re at…
1) the site has now been launched on a new server running current PHP7 & MariaDB, as well as php memory limit is set to 256 so there shouldn’t be an issue with that.
2) Because I had to use a different slider for the homepage, I created a Test page (https://www.cityinspectionsoftware.com/test-page/) and implemented the existing, ‘not-working-properly’ LayerSlider there.
*3) Turned on debug and I receive the same message which I mentioned above… “Notice: Undefined index: flag_popup in /home/cityprod/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/wp/shortcodes.php on line 297”
Because the site is now live, I’ll need approval from the client to grant you access again. Please advise.
Thank you.
– MichaelAugust 10, 2017 at 4:40 pm in reply to: LayerSlider not saving edits to existing slider nor allowing new slider #837052I tested the LayerSlider now that I bumped up the memory limit to 256mb but unfortunately that still didn’t help.
Also…
I removed your user account as I’m in the process of launching the site. I can reinstate when the site is launched.- This reply was modified 7 years, 3 months ago by splashmediagroup.
August 10, 2017 at 4:38 pm in reply to: LayerSlider not saving edits to existing slider nor allowing new slider #837051Blank login page was a PHP memory issue… site is on a new server and it was set too low.
Still… was anything changed by Basilis or anyone looking into my LayerSlider issue? It would be good to know what, if anything was tweaked for testing purposes.
Thanks Victoria
August 10, 2017 at 4:21 pm in reply to: LayerSlider not saving edits to existing slider nor allowing new slider #837046I turned on WP DEBUG and received the following error message:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 155648 bytes) in /home/betacityinsp/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/css/dynamic-css.php on line 884
I’m going to look into this… however if you can let me know what… if anything was changed on the site I gave you access to.
August 10, 2017 at 4:01 pm in reply to: LayerSlider not saving edits to existing slider nor allowing new slider #837033I’m having an issue since I tried the .htaccess file you mentioned… the login page is a blank white page with nothing on it, even though I removed the .htaccess file.
Please advise on what Basilis did yesterday
Please advise asap as I’m supposed to launch the site today

August 9, 2017 at 10:23 pm in reply to: LayerSlider not saving edits to existing slider nor allowing new slider #836661Hi Basilis
You’ll notice that I don’t have the LayerSlider on the homepage but have temporarily substituted it for a different slider until the issue is resolved.You can find the homepage slider in the LayerSlider area of the Dashboard where you can…
– make an edit
– save the edit
– leave the LayerSlider and go back in to check the edit… which will have disappeared.August 9, 2017 at 10:17 pm in reply to: LayerSlider not saving edits to existing slider nor allowing new slider #836656login info sent privately
January 12, 2017 at 5:15 pm in reply to: Color Section Column Stacking Issue on Homepage ONLY when also using a Grid Row #732715Hi Rikard
I appear to have solved it by replacing the button shortcode within the code block, with my own html code to create the buttons.I’m not certain if there is an actual issue with placing button shortcode in a code block, or if there was an error on my part.
April 23, 2016 at 6:12 am in reply to: CONFLICT? – WordFence Plugin & enfold / Advanced Layout Builder #620362Hi Vinay and BeyondBOLD
I just did a test with WordFence by disabling their new Firewall feature. My homepage’s Advanced Layout Builder is now operational.
Vinay, there appears to be a conflict with this new Firewall feature and enfold.
April 23, 2016 at 4:48 am in reply to: CONFLICT? – WordFence Plugin & enfold / Advanced Layout Builder #620358Hi Vinay.
1. Unfortunately updating the theme manually didn’t fix it.
2. I also tried adding the code that has been recommended for the functions.php as shown below, but that didn’t help either. I’m going to remove it… but I wanted to mention that I have tried it without success.
function modify_jquery() {
if (!is_admin()) {
wp_deregister_script(‘jquery’);
wp_register_script(‘jquery’, ‘https://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.3.min.js’);
wp_enqueue_script(‘jquery’);
}
}
add_action(‘init’, ‘modify_jquery’);April 23, 2016 at 4:27 am in reply to: CONFLICT? – WordFence Plugin & enfold / Advanced Layout Builder #620348I will manually update the theme and let you know.
April 23, 2016 at 3:40 am in reply to: CONFLICT? – WordFence Plugin & enfold / Advanced Layout Builder #620334Hi again Vinay!
There are a few sites I’ve done that are doing this, however you might-as-well just look at one. It’s the same site I was having the issue with the Text Editor being messed up due to an .htaccess file.

April 23, 2016 at 2:20 am in reply to: Text Block – Editor missing all button/tools and text not visible #620317Hi Vinay
I re-implemented my .htaccess file in wp-includes so that it would once again function as normal. I then tested the Text Editor and it was broken as I suspected it would.I then implemented the code you provided into my functions.php and uploaded it.
Unfortunately the Text Editor remained broken. I did some hard-refreshes without success.
So, I renamed my .htaccess file to disable it. The Text Editor began working again.
April 22, 2016 at 8:57 pm in reply to: Text Block – Editor missing all button/tools and text not visible #620209I will try out the code you provided.
Great themes are made better by their great service/support. Thanks Vinay!
April 22, 2016 at 8:38 pm in reply to: Text Block – Editor missing all button/tools and text not visible #620204Hi Vinay.
See my previous reply as I have determined what the issue was.April 22, 2016 at 8:30 pm in reply to: Text Block – Editor missing all button/tools and text not visible #620201Hi Vinay.
I have discovered what the issue was.I have added a few additional .htaccess files in specific folders with a bit of special added security. I implemented them only after doing a bunch of research on keeping WordPress secure.
I found that if I rename the .htaccess file that I placed in the root of my wp-includes folder (to temporarily disable it from functioning), the text editor is back to normal.
The .htaccess files that I implemented had no effect on the functioning of the site up until this point.
If anyone else is having other types of strange issues after the update, please check to see if any additional security measures, such as what I mention about .htaccess files are in place.
Thank you very much for your time and Yigit’s on this matter. I hope the discovery will help shed light on other people’s issues.
April 22, 2016 at 6:27 pm in reply to: Text Block – Editor missing all button/tools and text not visible #620153Thanks Vinay!
Appreciate it.I’m just heading out for a little bit and will be back soon.
April 22, 2016 at 5:35 pm in reply to: Text Block – Editor missing all button/tools and text not visible #620101Hi Yigit.
I just logged to see if anything has been fixed and now that I’ve updated enfold again, when I try to edit the homepage, the Avia Layout Builder just sits and spins and doesn’t load any of the areas for editing. It wasn’t doing that before. -
