February 18, 2026 at 6:55 pm in reply to: Adding a new Social Icon and linking it to the icons list #1495199
when I upload, the server is putting the file I zipped titled “fontello-d16d12c1.zip” into the folder structure WordPress content > uploads > 2026 > 02 > fontello-d16d12c1.zip
When I ask google etc for what to do it says a folder named avia_fonts must be placed in the uploads fold and an uncompressed folder must be placed there.
What should the folder be named? the folder with the config.json file and css folder and font folder on the root? ipage.com is my service provider. the files created at https://fontello.com create the files. It appears the svg file is a blank file. that isn’t right. I can create a svg vector file in it but I wouldn’t know what size to make the vector file. This is a mild PITA.February 15, 2026 at 2:35 am in reply to: Enfold crunching PNG files and JPGS too much and resizing to weird dimensions #1495089Hey do you guys have support in the Socials section for upwork.com?
Thats the only outside hub I’m using for work at this pointSee if you can see me in the link:
February 13, 2026 at 6:46 am in reply to: Enfold crunching PNG files and JPGS too much and resizing to weird dimensions #1495048No i did not add “intermediate_image_sizes_advanced” filter.
I took out that code you addd, added it to WPcode plug in and it is working. It is helping me understand more about how this WP Small MED LARGE image file generator is working.
Thank you Ismael. I’m getting there!I might try the WP_Optimise plug in later.
February 13, 2026 at 5:37 am in reply to: Enfold crunching PNG files and JPGS too much and resizing to weird dimensions #1495045With this image compression disabled in the Functions.php or via a WP plugin, will this eliminate the ability for WP to serve up smaller sizes for tables and phones? If so, would introducing a WP plugin like Smush or WP-Optimize, do a better job of creating better images?
February 12, 2026 at 6:53 am in reply to: Enfold crunching PNG files and JPGS too much and resizing to weird dimensions #1495017That did it ismael. I can now see my image sizes are all over the place. I guess resizing problematic images down to say 1500 pixel wide is what I should do next?
Thank you for taking the time to sort this out.
Is there a plugin I should use to inject that code into the Functions.PHP file, to keep it cleaner and more adaptable to theme changes later on?February 11, 2026 at 5:12 pm in reply to: Enfold crunching PNG files and JPGS too much and resizing to weird dimensions #1494995This reply has been marked as private.February 11, 2026 at 7:07 am in reply to: Enfold crunching PNG files and JPGS too much and resizing to weird dimensions #1494963I have made some screenshots showing Original uploaded size and the resulting image manipulation. Maybe you can tell me if I am missing some sort of setting. I feel like I am guessing with every setting.
See the link in Private Content.February 11, 2026 at 6:53 am in reply to: Enfold crunching PNG files and JPGS too much and resizing to weird dimensions #1494962Issael, I don’t know what you mean by ‘logos-3-2″ page. That is not a page i know about. maybe refresh, my slugs were making bad names at one point due to copying portfolio pages, i think i have corrected all of them. But if you are refering to the LOGOS page with the white on black logos, yes those are displaying 500×500. Everything imported after that is wrong. i dont know why. maybe using a copy of LOGOS for everything else i have created?
I think you are using advanced terminology I can’t recognize. Lightbox…image modal. ? Am I to assume you mean the image gallery that is nested inside the Portfolio Pages for this Photographer Demo?
Im just using your theme demo straight out of the box. the Masonry Image Style settings are not defaulting to the unmolested original uploaded image. It is still converting to 96dpi and apppying a compression that is bad. I dont think this is WP i think it is the theme because the them is not doing with the settings (in the theme) are intended to do, diplay a “NO SCALING, original Width X Original Height.”What exact image compression the Enfold doing, above and beyond what WP is doing?
February 11, 2026 at 6:15 am in reply to: Enfold crunching PNG files and JPGS too much and resizing to weird dimensions #1494957thanks for looking into this BTW, I do appreciate it.
When you say “child theme’s functions.php file.” where is that?February 11, 2026 at 6:07 am in reply to: Enfold crunching PNG files and JPGS too much and resizing to weird dimensions #1494954It is a mild disaster. The PNG images are coming out with pieces if edges missing and bad compression. the image in the media browser is fine and i just took some images in the media browser and modified them from 800 pixels wide to 700 pixels wide. I assume since the “full size” setting is selected within the masonry Gallery, that that would repalce the image with a smaller image. it does not it is still this weird nonsensical size, not related to the original image size. Why?
I am completely unclear as to why there are preset image sizes in your image style settings:
>>
Image Size
Select a custom size for all images. All registered image sizes are shown, make sure you select a valid size for your images.
Theme default is: Masonry (705×705)
<<These image ratios make it seem like if you select 300×300, its gonna take a landscape ratio image and make it square.
AND I basically have USE ORIGINAL IMAGE selected, and it is NOT honoring that setting at all, for every image on the site over 300 images.
What does it force the theme to do if it restricts WordPress from creating image sizes it is looking for?
I am very nervous now about breaking 2 weeks of work. This is crazy.
February 10, 2026 at 4:52 pm in reply to: Enfold crunching PNG files and JPGS too much and resizing to weird dimensions #1494925And to that end, when resizing images within the Media Library, it is not using the resize within the portfolio, even if I delete the image and reimport. Also, when uploading an image say, 1000 pixels wide @ 72dpi (standard OSX format), when you download the offending image, it will reinterpret the file at 96dpi, and it will be a larger size but more pixelated. I can’t have this. I’m a designer judged on my ability to manage images. Is there a way to disable this internal image manipulation? I have tried emptying browser cache and working in a incognito browser window.
February 10, 2026 at 5:29 am in reply to: Enfold crunching PNG files and JPGS too much and resizing to weird dimensions #1494910Yes, they are all running in no-scaling mode. First thing I checked.

December 15, 2024 at 7:24 am in reply to: Images uploaded to media libray are corrupted with yellow tint #1473661And after configuring a new portfolio set of page parameters at:
I did discover the images that pop up in the lightbox are in fact webp images
64_TR6_Triumph_07a-1030×687.webpThat could be part of the problem
If Smush has been turned off, is this a permanent overwrite on the part of the plugin? But if the code is turned off, how does a “call” to an image in a different folder (somewhere) with a different name get deployed?
doesnt the theme look for an image in its respective original folder with the name used to build the portfolio entry? And i notice different images are visible on different computers. Example: this problem does not exist when viewing my website page on a MacBook pro running Catalina. The Mac i am working on now with all the problems is running Ventura. 3 different browsers…same problem.
December 15, 2024 at 12:21 am in reply to: Images uploaded to media libray are corrupted with yellow tint #1473652i don’t understand this token thing at all. Very frustrating. How do i get a token for Envato so i can update the theme?
I see I created some sort of token name whan i first downloaded the theme, not fully understanding what this is for. Please help.
I have a Themeforest account and downloaded an update from theme forest. it is a ‘folder” that is named “enfold” with no identification what version it is. Non compressed. i created a ZIP, uploaded and it was rejected.
What check boxes are you supposed to select for these Envato tokens?
– – – – –
UPDATE; Created a new token (checked ALL boxes):
I have pasted the “OAuth Client ID” which I assume is the Token. no?
I also pasted a long code that was generated prior and that did not work either.ERRORS….
Last time we checked the token we were not able to connected to Envato:Purchases could not be accessed
Username could not be accessed (needed for your information only)
E-Mail could not be accessed (needed for your information only)
Following errors occurred:Purchases: Your private token is invalid.

December 14, 2024 at 9:44 pm in reply to: Images uploaded to media libray are corrupted with yellow tint #1473649Thanks. i had Smush plugin but i turned it off. The problem persists. the ipage.com web hosting company tells me they are getting some clients complaining of the same issue. they said they are working on it. ugh, 48 hours later. I will continue to research. Thanks for your help
December 14, 2024 at 5:36 pm in reply to: Images uploaded to media libray are corrupted with yellow tint #1473637I Posted a portfolio page here: https://chappledesign.com/portfolio-item/custom-motorcycles/
I will read through your replies and check back. thank you.December 13, 2024 at 5:55 pm in reply to: Images uploaded to media libray are corrupted with yellow tint #1473592Hi and thanks for the responses. that was a typo (late night, tired, frustrated.) I meant to type 400×400. Sorry to make you do that ‘run-around” but that info is useful. Yes my export settings are RGB at 8bit. I have done some experimenting with color profiles too. That was a good hunch to check the RGB vs CMYK settings and the 8bit vs 16 bitt as well. These are just run-of-the-mill 8bit RBG JPGs. I will try the deactivating the theme procedure. Also, I had a Smush plugin installed. I have disabled it for these tests and it didn’t do anything. I am also running W3 Total Cache and UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore. So now only 2 plugins. The Site hosting company, ipage.com, is now owned by BlieHost. It might be a PHP related issue. What is the minimum version of MyPHP that you have tested with this theme?
Also I received an email from ThemeForest to download the new version, which I did. It is just a loose folder of the theme. I tried compressing it as a SIT file and reinstalling it through the Appearance>Themes tab. I guess that is not the correct way. I see there is a way to import the new theme if you have some sort of “valid Envato private token”. I don’t have an Envato account and the last time I installed their junk it screwed my site up. is there a way to update this in a simple way? My current Enfold Theme Version Number is 6.0.3 and the new download is , well, I don’t know because it does not state a version number. I would share a link but I don’t really want corrupted content portfolio pages up there, but let me see what I can do. thanks for any help. https://chappledesign.com

August 31, 2024 at 10:52 pm in reply to: Font color in my widgets and size of widget title.. #1465946I discovered the footer widgit head copy is hard coded as an H3 tag. How do I change that?
August 31, 2024 at 10:45 pm in reply to: Font color in my widgets and size of widget title.. #1465944I should note, something is over-riding the Footer font color settings under he Footer tab in the Enfold settings.
August 31, 2024 at 10:44 pm in reply to: Font color in my widgets and size of widget title.. #1465943I have a similar question: where in the Enfold “stylings” can you change the footer widget “Title” colors in the footer?? Mine are a light blue and It does not match any of the changes I have made anywhere to my knowledge. Sorry My site is not live yet.
I’ve read the AI responses. Still need help with this. Notice how TV and Real World tabs have fad-out as the annimatio0n and Commercials still uses BLUR. It wont switch over to Fade-Out
Thanks! ill check it out!
I need to keep my copyright and delete the theme credit. Sorry guys.
Do i have to modify a css file?August 27, 2024 at 2:46 pm in reply to: Enfold Dark Photography Demo Portfolio title type attributes #1465494I just figured it out. It’s the H3 tag.
Thanks for listening to all of this drama.August 27, 2024 at 2:37 pm in reply to: Enfold Dark Photography Demo Portfolio title type attributes #1465491Thank you,
I think we are making this more complicated than it needs to be.
In the demo the text is white:Where in the User interface is the section to adjust this type. It is part of the UI already. Somewhere in the UI the tag was switched to a gray, I can’t remember where, and fiddling with the H tags doesnt do anything. So it has to do with an over-ride maybe?
Is the floating type getting its code from the “title” of the Portfolio post? The first type section at the tiop of each portfolio post where you “name” the post? If so, what section in the ENFOLD theme options controls the look of this type? Is it in “Advanced Styling”? If so, which section?

This type needs to be white and it is gray
August 26, 2024 at 7:46 am in reply to: Enfold Dark Photography Demo Portfolio title type attributes #1465399Using Masonry Gallery.
Content> Captions> Display Neither.Like I stated before, I want this title of the Portfolio Page which appears over the cover image to be White not gray. I don’t want to hisde it. Also there should be a way to attenuate the other type elements, Font, size etc.
I can not show you a link because this is local and not live yet.
