I just wanted to let you know that I was able to fix “most” of the issues above except for one. On the portfolio pages, the thumbnails are supposed to take the user to the specific tabs below onclick. It was working perfectly before the upgrade to 2.9.1. I fixed the other issues by replacing the new functions.php with the older one from 2.8.1. The thumbnails link to the tabs using a plugin (which worked great before theme upgrade) called WP Gallery Custom Links. You should have the links for the two portfolio items from my previous private post. Please let me know. I’ll be poking around in it today, since our time zones are pretty much opposite, and will let you know if I find a fix.
Thanks!
Thank you! I ended up finding another post about how to install which also linked to a video. However, I’m still not ready to update if there are numerous issues, as it appears there are for many people. I’ll wait a week or so. Thanks!
It appears there have been quite a few issues with the 2.9 update, so I will wait until it is more stable to install it. I’m not even sure how to update the theme. Normally, it shows up in the dashboard, but it does not anymore. I’ll dig around in your forum and see if I find an answer. However, I do not want to cause issues on 2 of our sites using Enfold, one of which is our company’s live site. Thanks, and if you can tell me how to update, that would be great for when I am ready to do so.
I believe I have figured out the issue. It seems there was a conflict with the Jetpack plugin, so I deactivated it. I’ll let you know if I run into further issues. Thanks!
Thanks! So far, that seems to work when I put the css into the custom.css file. I tried putting it into the Quick CSS and deleting the enfold.css, but when I saved the Theme Options, a lot of previous changes reverted back. Thanks so much!
This reply has been marked as private.Ok, so I think I found the issue. IE and Firefox do NOT like styles in the Quick CSS, but want the styles changed directly within enfold.css. That’s the ONLY way I can get it to work cross browser. My assumption is that when I enter anything in Quick CSS, it is dynamically written to the enfold.css, correct? I really don’t know of a fix other than to just put all my changes directly into enfold.css and not touch Quick CSS or any of the styling within the dashboard. Thoughts?
I just tried changing the hover color on the sublevel navs, and it is fine on Chrome, but still not working on Firefox. Plus, for some strange reason, things keep changing on the colors for my icons on the home page. They, too, should be blue, but they are gray in IE and FF. I change them in the CSS, but they just revert back. I’ve done this many times. :(
I put it in the Quick CSS but it’s still not right in IE or Firefox. Plus, the dropdown hovers should be light blue and not light gray, as they are in IE and Firefox. I didn’t adjust anything in Advanced Styling, as I wasn’t sure what needs to be adjusted. It’s just the that border underneath the main nav items (which should be light blue), and the hover state of the dropdowns should be a very light blue, not gray. Please advise. Thanks!
The same issue is occurring in Firefox. The underline should be the blue that is showing in Chrome. I just need to know how I can fix that across browsers. Thanks!

It’s not working at all in the dashboard, so I cannot create or update any sliders I currently have. I updated to WordPress 3.9 and Enfold 2.7 this morning and all looked good until this huge issue. Please assist us!
