On the single post page, underneath the current single post, I want to show titles and excerpts of other posts in the same type as the current single post so the user can quickly navigate to other posts of the same type. Maybe it’s not possible to use the layout builder on the single post page, so then I’m thinking there is some php code I can add to my single-posttype.php file that will do what I want?
I created a quick sketch in Paint to illustrate what I want: http://imgur.com/i8aLHwR
Hi! Thanks for the quick reply, however it is not the post itself I want to use the layout builder on, it is the PAGE that shows a single post (when you’ve clicked the title of a post). I know that I can create my own template file by creating a php file called single-‘posttypename’.php and I’ve done that. But I want to be able to edit that page in the page section in the admin view and use the layout builder.
Is it possible?

Same as my previous comment with the portfolio category, I needed to add at least one tag or category in the taxonomy for it to show up in the list. I feel a bit stupid now, but happy. Mostly happy :)

Now I’ve tried it with only having the Types plugin activated, still same result. Not even the portfolio taxonomy is displayed, which I’ve read should appear there by default.I have the latest theme update and WordPress version.
I know it’s difficult to debug without access to the site, but I don’t know how easy it would be for you to debug it anyway since I have the swedish WordPress version.
Do you think it might have to do with the Types plugin, rather than the Enfold theme? Maybe I should try another plugin for creating custom post types and taxonomies. If so, do you have any recommendation for a plugin that does that and works well with the Enfold theme?
