    FYI. I added Login info

I’m adding a custom exert for the pages I’m using the Avia Layout Builder. It seems counter productive to me to add a nice editor but then remove the features that make it automatic. To have settings that don’t have any affect is misleading. Theme options should work for when using your Advanced editor. But even in Default editor mode, the Theme options are not working. I still have not gotten an answer on how to turn off categories or dates listed under my Blog post. I’m getting slow, vague and incomplete support on this issue.
This was my original request regarding how I want to display my blog posts, “…I want just the image, an exert and a read more link. No other info.”
The only answer I’ve received is that I have to put a custom exert on each blog post. I’m very frustrated with the slow support. It’s taken me almost a week to not get any answers.

I bought this template to update my blog because I’ve purchased and used it so often for many of my web site design clients. I thought it had good support. Now it seems I can’t get any help. From what you are saying, I need to go put an exert for every single post. That’s not how it should work. An in fact it’s not how it has worked, since some of the posts have exerts and some don’t. If that’s the only way to get the elements to look like what I want, I’m going to have to change templates.

Some of the posts show exerts and some do not. I didn’t do anything different for them. I just want the ones that don’t show the post to look like the ones that do. No settings are changed between them.

On my blog page, both of which are now using the ‘grid’ theme layout (home and Agility for beginners), some of the posts have exerts and some don’t. Can you please explain why. Exert is turned On for those pages.
I saw the setting you referred to, but it wasn’t working. Or I was doing it wrong.
    Thanks for your help.

Yes, you would need that. Sorry. It is changed to allow Admin access.
I really need help with this issue.
    Thank you.

It’s closed/solved. Thank you very much!

Thank you! I tried many variations of css but would never have guessed that whole identifying string. I needed hover, but was able to add that bit and it works.I spend a lot of time trying to figure it out by myself, and only ask when I’m about to pull my hair out. I do wish I knew why it’s not working in the easily editable Advanced and General style section. But still happy to have a fix. Thanks again, I really appreciate the help.

    Hi Mike,
    Thank you for your help.
The sticky menu hover is set to red, but mainly I want the ability to change it to what looks best. Do you have a fix for the theme options to work properly? Do you need a screen shot to show an example of what exactly I want changed, or do you need the color code?
    Thanks,
    Stephanie

I found it! thank you very much. Just in case anyone else needs this info.
I edited these files, after saving a copy of the original:
    avia_media_wp35.js
    avia_option_pages.js

    At this path:
    /httpdocs/wordpress/wp-content/themes/enfold/framework/js
Wish there was a way to search the server docs for file name. Anyone know how?
    Thanks for your help.

I’m completely missing something here. I find the files in the local file structure. I can edit and save. But the same file structure does not exist on the server when I want to find it and upload over it. Once the theme is installed, the file structure changes. Seriously feeling stupid right now with not being able to find this file online.
    What is it I’m missing?
Maybe something with my ftp client? cuteftp.

I’ve found it in my local files, but not on the server. Are you editing it locally and then uploading to a specific folder? Or having to reinstall?
    Thanks!

Yes, included with this message. Thank you!

Thanks Jordan, but I had seen that post and do not evidently, have that same file structure. I could not find that file at that path or anywhere else. I’m not sure why, maybe it’s just located somewhere else?
    Thanks for the assistance,

Thank you, that was very helpful.

Hi, I was able to find the answer and fix to the first issue with the overlapping menu/logo. But still struggling to find the answer for the second issue with the Team Member images not looking good at all screen sizes. Need to keep them the same size 202px wide for all screens and also have those elements center aligned within the space.
    Thanks!
