Thanks for the information but as mentioned in my previous message I have set the correct configuration settings according to your instructions, e.g. in Blog Style setting I have it set to “Use the advance layout editor to build your own blog layout”. I then configured the page accordingly to Single Author, small preview Pic (no author pic is displayed, featured image is small) to show, or Excerpt with Read More Link, however it shows all of the full article instead of a short preview.

Following all of your instructions and guides I have got to this point, but it is still not working which is why I need your help

One other issue is that i have a black bar with random letters in it?

Any idea how i can remove this?

If you visit – http://smartech-energy.co.uk/ and look at the top of the website page there is a black bar running across it and on the left hand side there is a series of random letters.
