Hi Ismael,
Thanks for looking into this. That method didn’t really work (the sidebar gets shoved all over the place and the newly created banner has a sidebar vertical ‘divider line’ in it.
I appreciate the attempt though.

This reply has been marked as private.Hey Digit!
Thanks for the reply!I have updated to the current theme and still no luck. The Adanced Editor is adding something or stripping out something in the ‘code highlighter’ plugin code (see attached). With the Default editor we can’t get the top Banner/Title to work and with the Advanced editor we can’t get the ‘code highlighter’ plugin to work correctly.
Thanks!
SladeI deactivated all plugins and removed all custom css and it still didn’t work. The client felt this fix was taking too long and has decided to scrap the idea of the tables being responsive as it wasn’t working.
Hi Elliot!
I thought you might be on to something here but as you can see: http://littledigitalagency.com/Client/openfin/runtime/evaluate/ I placed the text “TEST” into that first cell. When the browser window is scaled down it lines up under the “35” instead of OpenFin. It still isn’t lining up correctly for some reason.
Hi Ismael,
That code seems to have done the job! I should have looked closer at the “<>” sign.
Thanks!
SladeI took that row out completely and you can see that the column headings still move down an extra row.
http://littledigitalagency.com/Client/openfin/runtime/evaluate/Hi Elliott,
That didn’t help either as you can see here: http://littledigitalagency.com/Client/openfin/runtime/evaluate/
I would ‘assume’ if you are seeing it in the source code it is coming from the Table that comes with Enfold.
I have deactivated all plugins, commented out all custom css and emptied my cache. Still isn’t working.
Hi!
No…I don’t have any custom css like that. All of my custom css is shown a few messages up in this thread.
Hi Yigit,
Regarding the ‘double banner’ issue – the code you sent that I placed in the function.php file seems to have hidden both banners from mobile view. When I open the site on my iPhone there isn’t either banner showing.
Hi Elliot,
I attempted to change the “display: none” to “visibility” hidden” or “collapse”…but it didn’t help. The next thing I did was to comment out any custom css that dealt with the Tables…still no luck.
Here are two screenshots – desktop and mobile to better explain the issue:
Thanks Yigit! I am still waiting for the client to confirm (I don’t have access to IE8) and will let you know.
The other remaining IE8 issue was the stretched logo. The code Elliot gave me earlier in this thread works only in Compatibility Mode in IE8. If not in Compatibility Mode then the logo disappears (this is Only in IE8 – all other browsers the logo looks fine).
Any ideas?
Thanks!
SladeHi Josue,
Here is what I am using: `@media only screen and (min-width: 735px){
.homeslide-mobile { display: none !important
}
}`The desktop LayerSlider is set to “hide under 736”
This works perfectly on everything except IE8.
Thanks!
I don’t believe your IE8 simulator is showing the same thing that a computer actually running IE8 is.
I can get the logo to appear correctly only when running in compatability mode. I’m not sure I can force each IE8 user to turn on compatibility mode on.
I looked at the Enfold demo on IE8 and there are loads of issues but none that pertain to my site. From what I can tell – most all of the issue deal with an image inside a text box. Anyplace I use a textbox and ‘insert media’ – IE8 can’t render that correrctly.
I have been trying to redo the design and not use text boxes (not easy and comprimises the design quite a bit). The 2 big issues that don’t pertain to an image inside a text box is the Logo and the mobile banner on the home page. I’m not sure what to do about these.
I did re-upload Enfold but that didn’t help. I deactivated all plugins and took out all Custom CSS…still didn’t help.
Hi Elliot!
Thanks for the reply! The clients site was not in Compatibility view. After inserting the CSS code you gave me for the logo the logo disappeared in IE 8. If they turn Compatibility View “on” then the logo looks fine (the rest of the issues are still there though).
I am using Browserstack and am seeing what they are. I decided to test other sites I have used Enfold on and the issues are all the same in IE 8.
This hasn’t be a big deal because I haven’t met a client that uses IE 8. This client actually makes Apps for financial institutions that cater to IE 8.
Here are a few screenshots to better show you the issues:
http://littledigitalagency.com/Client/openfin/screenshots/image.png (shows the extra background under the top banner)
http://littledigitalagency.com/Client/openfin/screenshots/image-1.png (shows HomePage “Press Center” images distorted)
http://littledigitalagency.com/Client/openfin/screenshots/image-2.png (shows extra background on top banner and distorted images inside the boxes)
http://littledigitalagency.com/Client/openfin/screenshots/image-3.png (shows both the desktop Slideshow AND the mobile image showing at the same time – I got code from here to make it only show 1 at a time depending on the user viewing on desktop or phone)
http://littledigitalagency.com/Client/openfin/screenshots/image-3a.png (this is an updated screenshot showing the LOGO gone after using the css code you recently gave me). Thanks!

Worked great and very much appreciated!

EDIT –
Quick question – when I hover over the newly created Github icon it still says “Skype”. Where/how do I change this?
Thanks!Hi guys! @ralph12 – worked perfect!! Thank you so much! Couldn’t have been more clear.
Thank you too Yigit! I have saved both solutions for future reference. Will come in very handy.
Thanks again!

November 24, 2014 at 8:40 am in reply to: Custom CSS Class in ALB Elements is not working as expected #356612Thanks for the lesson. You can probably leave the ‘belittling’ at home next time. I’m sure we are all aware of what we know and don’t know.
As usual…you are the best Yigit!
Thanks for the quick response.Slade
Hi Yigit!
Sorry, I did a poor job of explaining. That link is to the site that we are recreating using Enfold. You can see the actual site in progress here: http://littledigitalagency.com/Client/openfin/
As you can see in the footer – it is in the “Contact” area that I need the map background. I can get it to show up correctly but it shows under all of the footer widgets.
I hope this helps. Thanks!

August 31, 2014 at 4:52 am in reply to: **Urgent** Anchor Links to Interior pages not working #311434Hi Devin, I have cleared all cache, turned on incognito and tried browsers that have never been to the site…still just going to the top of the Contact Us page. It has a bit of a “flash” when it first loads like it wants to scroll but never does.
Sorry…it was really late. I meant 2.9.2
Hey Yigit!
I will have to wait and just try it on a new install later. We are about 3 days away from launching and can’t afford to mess with at the moment.
Thanks!
Hi Josue – thanks for checking in!
Yes, through a lot of trial and error I was able to figure it out. I did post an ‘edit’ on my original post but the edits don’t show up very clearly.
Thanks!
Sladeah yes! worked perfect! Thanks!
Hi Gunter! Thanks for the reply.
That code changes the color of a specific row within the column…but it also changes the row of all 3 columns. Altering the “li:nth-child(#)” moves which row is being altered but that isn’t what I need.
I need each column (the pricing table has 3) to have their own color scheme.
Is that possible?
Thanks Yigit!
Worked great but when I look at it on a mobile the space for the #layerslider_6 appears to still be there – the slider isn’t showing but it has pushed the mobile content down.
It now shows a large blank space above the new mobile_only content.
Sure…here is the website:
http://londonisc.comits the layer slider right under the menu bar on the home page.
I will look into that thread to see if there’s a solution.
Thanks.
