Hi
Please check the website link in private.
Thank you
Hi Basilis
Thanks for pointing out that link, however I am useless interpreting and customising CSS code by myself. Not something I know how to do it.
Could you please tell me the code based on the one that was given to me earlier from the following ticket? https://kriesi.at/support/topic/3-footer-columns-50-25-25/Thank you
Hi Nikko,
Tweaking W3 Total Cache didn’t work. I kept it very simple and I never got it working right.
Following your recommendation in another post, It did work with the plugin Autoptimise but it’s “one more” plugin to the list. We try to minimise the number of plugins installed. Since W3 Total Cache does everything that Autoptimize does + all the extras (CDN and so on) we still need to keep both.
What happened exactly to Enfold 4.2 CSS structure to break with the minify from W3 Total Cache?
Thank you
I am having exactly the same problem with W3 Total Cache and Enfold 4.1.2
Disabling Minify solves the issue but the site loads very slow now.
Is there any solution so far?I found that the problem was with W3 Total Cache. If I disable the minify option the problem reported is solved.
However, this started only yesterday, after 4.1.2 upgrade. Please confirm how to fix the problem with the minify enabled.
Hi Victoria,
That worked perfectly, thank you :)
Please keep this topic open as there might be some related issues.
Hi Nikko,
The bar is still showing on mobile if the page has set the transparent header. Please check the page in private, on mobile if possible.
Thank you
Hi Mike
It’s still not public. Here is a screenshot where the navigation menu bar is slightly transparent: http://dns.d.pr/PC2x6M/1Zn8uv43
You can still read the text and see the image.I am assuming the transparency is something like 0.9 (almost opaque). Can I manually change this to, let’s say, 0.4 or even 0.0 if I want it fully transparent for example?
Thank you
Thank you once again Mike.
I just noticed that the header navigation background is not 100% opaque, by default. It is kind of 90% opaque or something. Can this value be adjusted through CSS? This way we can play with percentages (or from 0.0 to 1.0 if I am not wrong) to control that bar’s transparency level.
Many thanks.
Hi Rikard,
Ok, we decided to proceed with Oswald font (from Google Fonts) just to make this process more simple: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Oswald
What is the easiest way to add this font into our system?
Oswald medium for some headers
Oswald bold for links for exampleIf we use this plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-google-fonts/ what exactly will do?
Thank you
Hi Mike,
Thank you for your help. That kind of worked, but we faced some issues with the mobile version.
Let me put this in a simple way:
How to make the “normal” no transparency header always transparent?Since we want it always to be transparent… it makes more sense to have the option “no transparency” selected but with a modified CSS that will make transparent.
And how to set the burger icon color to be light grey, always?
Thank you.
You are a star Nikko, that worked perfectly :)
However, the mobile version is showing a white bar at the top (when the page is set to have a transparent bar) and we can not see the mobile icon anymore because I guess it is also white (in a white background). Please check the page in PVT.
I would like to remove that white bar permanently, from both desktop and mobile versions and make it always transparent.
I was using this code from Mike:
.header_color .header_bg {background-color: transparent!important; }
Is there anything we can add to get all sorted out?
Many thanks.
Thanks Mike,
This looks harder than I thought. I guess there was an easier way with a real example in another post but I can not find it anywhere at the moment.
To add a custom font, how can I get it listed in the styling drop-downs from Enfold?
I assume I need to send the .ttf file to wordpress (where exactly?) and then I need to “call it” to the drop-downs. This is what I am missing.Thank you
Hi
I didn’t try the code on that page but I could see the demo result for that code and the page is very clunky and buggy on mobile.
The overall idea is there, yes, and the menu looks better this way, but it is a big mess.I was looking forward to have a moderator to provide me a better / clean code that could basically reproduce the desktop look in the mobile version.
Many thanks.
Thank you Mike
The page is not live yet, but this is the closest menu we will have: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-creative-studio/
I assume the code will be the same if created from the demo? Many thanks
Hi Victoria,
For example, on this demo: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-2017/
The top bar is transparent. When se scroll down, the transparent background becomes white: http://dns.d.pr/9bELgk/3sUDvYCc
I was looking for a solution where we can keep it always transparent (100%) or have some level of transparency such as 10% or 20% so we can see what’s behind the bar when scrolling.Hope this makes sense?
Thank you
Just remembered, is it possible to give a 10% background transparency for example? For the navigation bar (burger icon) background only, I mean.
Thank you
That is what I thought so.
What about the normal blog like http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-2017/blog/blog-fullwidth/ or http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-2017/blog/blog-single-author-big/ but with full width images for example? Is this easy to achieve with some CSS from the support here?
Thanks
Hi!
I am aware of the color section elements with fixed backgrounds.
I was looking for an automated way to have those sections automatically generated by the theme, not manually, based on the blog posts that I have on WordPress. Can Enfold achieve this in some way?
Thank you
Hi Jordan,
In short, yes, achieve the full screen images and make them “fixed” in the background. When scrolling up / down, the images never scroll basically.
The image should have the post title only (as the example) and it should be clickable to the post itself.Thank you.
As usual Yigit,
You’re a star :)
Thanks for the quick fix.
That seems to be it! I thought it was something related with the theme.
Thank you.
Hi Jordan,
Yes, I went back to the old school CSS websites and found a way to create a container to add the font style. However, I was looking for something more straightforward and Yigit gave me just that.
Thank you Yigit. The code worked perfectly :)
I assume that if I want to do the same for different footer columns I just need to change number 3 under flex_column:nth-child(3) to the desired column 1-5 for example, am I right?Thank you once again for the great support guys.
Thank you Jordan,
This fixed my problem. I only found forum posts but every code that I tried didn’t work. This one worked perfectly fine.
Thank you again.
Disabling WP Rocket’s minification worked for me.
Any idea how can we have it working with enfold?November 25, 2016 at 8:34 am in reply to: Single or Double line below portfolio items (on portfolio grid) #716697Worked like a charm :)
Thank you Ismael!
Hi Rikard,
The demo has the same page that we are looking forward to change: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/portfolio/
Thank you
November 23, 2016 at 11:46 am in reply to: Single or Double line below portfolio items (on portfolio grid) #715850Hi Basilis,
It seems that Enfold’s CSS is sending the text to a second line “earlier” than what it should. Can’t a CSS code fix this?
If not, I can see two possible solutions:
1) Decrease the font a bit, but it is already too small I guess
2) Fix all rows to a fixed height to display always the space equivalent to two lines of text.Uff, this was a hard one but perfectly fixed now :)
Thank you Yigit, where is the tip box? :)
Please check the screenshots
