Hi Yigit, Sorry I edited my last comment and changed the numbered paragraphs before your reply.
1. The code applies now to all masonry gallery elements across the whole site. you please check my comment above?
2. I removed the code because of the problem above, this is probably why you couldn’t see it, sorry! I added the code back so you can replicate from your end. It is only when the images are all in 1 column now.
3. I will try this.
Thank you
May 3, 2021 at 3:36 pm in reply to: Bug/Problem on Masonry Gallery – columns on Tablet portrait #1298033Thank you, my CSS master aka Yigit :)
Spot on, it all worked perfectly, but there are three issues:1. The code above is now applying to all masonry galleries across the whole website. Like, the homepage, we would like to keep it with 3 columns, but this code forces them to 1 column only. Perhaps we can keep that code and add a custom ID attribute? Or even better… find a code that will allow Avia Builder to work as expected: 1, 2, 3 or 4 columns for example? It seems the iPad on Portrait is the one that is not working by default (bug?)
2, The page is flickering when it loads. Probably the image resizing? Page URL in private.
3. A different topic, but kind of related.
Because we are showing one column, the featured images from the portfolio are kind of zoomed and their quality is poor.
I guess this is because the theme is loading a smaller image size (thumbnail or similar). Is there a way to display a better quality image? I guess this is related to the size we set for thumbnails, etc. under WordPress settings but I’m not sure.I am sending you the pages in private.
Thank you

May 3, 2021 at 3:01 pm in reply to: Bug/Problem on Masonry Gallery – columns on Tablet portrait #1298024Thank you Yigit! :)
Adding !important fixed it.
However, the images are not taking all the space of the screen (from left-to-right) like they do on mobile with 1 column. Is it possible to force them this way?
May 3, 2021 at 2:52 pm in reply to: Fullwidth Slider Container Problem & Captions positioning on #1298019Hi Yigit!
It’s always a pleasure to have your help here :)
Spot on! This did the trick!Allow me just a few days to confirm that it didn’t affect anything else on the website like before, but I think this is it.
Thanks a million.
May 3, 2021 at 2:37 pm in reply to: Bug/Problem on Masonry Gallery – columns on Tablet portrait #1298011Hi Yigit,
That didn’t work. On iPad vertical, I still see 3 columns, when I set it as 1 column in Enfold – like we have it on mobile.
On iPad Horizontal it should be 3 columns (and it is fine).May 3, 2021 at 2:31 pm in reply to: Fullwidth Slider Container Problem & Captions positioning on #1298009Hi Yigit, thank you for your help. Much appreciated.
Please find the new link in private
The only thing missing is the caption on the fullwidth slider on mobiles. It is not aligned to the bottom-left as it is in all other devices.
May 3, 2021 at 2:17 pm in reply to: Image overlay problem – it is not going until the end of the page #1298002Thank you very much Mike.
That did the trick :)
I agree Yigit.
I am really looking forward to seeing new features in the upcoming versions along with performance upgrades.
WebP support is also VERY welcome – bring it on! :)Hi Yigit
I think I “accidentally” fix it by playing with the stretch / non-stretch images in the slideshow. I can’t see it happen on my devices either.
I will re-confirm once I check in all devices.
Hi Rikard.
The strange part is that Palatino is in the “Websafe Font” list, but it definitely doesn’t open on Windows.
Either way, I imported the font and it is now showing in my font list on Enfold.
How exactly do I import it? I didn’t understand from the link you sent me.The source code shows “palatino-font-free-custom palatino-font-free”
The URL is in the previous post in private.
Thank you
Let’s cheer for Nikko, and Rikard.
Hip hip… hooray!Thank you both. The captions alignments are all perfect now.
Thank you, Nikko.
It is 100% fixed on desktop/tablet.
However, nothing changed for mobiles (on both orientations). It is aligned to the bottom, but not to the left.
Thank you Nikko.
We are 98% there :)On desktops and mobiles, it is 99% done, properly aligned, but there is a tiny gap still there. Pls check the sshot https://dns.d.pr/83DDif/4x8JBxVQRm and the URL in private.
The major problem remains on the mobile: https://dns.d.pr/qWqgf3/T6lbUjjCCP
Not aligned to the left, and that small gap is also still there. Can you please check?
Hi Nikko
Unfortunately, that didn’t work in the fullwidth slider element. Please check here how the caption is positioned: https://dns.d.pr/qtGHrJ/yL8Vs14eJr
I would like it to be aligned to the bottom left of the image, as per the green rectangle mentioned in the screenshot.I removed the latest code and added the URL to the fullwidth slideshow in private.
Appreciate it if you can help.
Hi Rikard
This happens on iPad/iPhone and this video was on a Mac device on safari.
April 27, 2021 at 6:19 am in reply to: Masonry Gallery – Caption background, transparency and height #1296902Thank you Rikard,
It looks much better now and almost there.
The only thing missing is the “background” height. It is still quite big. Is it possible to bring it to almost the same height as the font on it?
Screenshot and URL in private for better understanding.Thank you
Hi Rikard
Please check my screencast below in private. You will notice that the slider does not go full-width when I change the mobile orientation (from portrait to landscape). The other way around it works. If I refresh, on any orientation it is not a problem. It is only a problem when the orientation changes.
Enfold is truly my favourite theme out there.
I can’t stand Avada or many others that I tried. I like elementor, and the way it can go with almost “any” theme, but… nothing beats Avia Layout Builder (I think this is the right name).I am just curious to see what is being done regarding the Core Vitals. This is a concern for me.
Great job!
Thank you Nikko and Rikard for this.
Can you please tell me how to do the same for the Fullwidth slider? Align the caption box to the bottom left?
Thank you
Thank you, Rikard.
Hi Rikard,
We are getting there, thank you.
There is only one small gap between the picture edge and the caption background: https://dns.d.pr/LmKXF2/oyGLshwZOb
Is it possible to move the caption slightly down to cover that bit?FYI, I am now aligning the captions to the left, and using the following code:
/* Easy Slider Captions Alignment */ .avia-slideshow .avia-caption { left: 0; right: auto; bottom: 0; padding: 0; }
April 24, 2021 at 10:11 am in reply to: Masonry Gallery – Caption background, transparency and height #1296492Hi Rikard, please check the URL in private.
Thank youHi Rikard.
Please check the URL in private.
Thank you Rikard, you’re a star :)
Could you please give me the CSS to align the same text to the bottom-left (like the original) but without any padding/margin? Right at the corner?
Thank you
Hi Rikard,
Right, but when you give the user the option to change the logo/menu position, why does the mobile header doesn’t follow the same selection?
April 22, 2021 at 7:31 am in reply to: Masonry Portfolio – Text Size on image file names (captions) #1295946Thank you Rikard.
That didn’t work, but I added !important and then it worked right away:
h3.av-masonry-entry-title { font-size: 18px !important; }
Thank you for your great help.

Spot on, Rikard.
Thank you for your help.
Out of curiosity: isn’t this a “bug”? The “standard” and widely used method is logo-left and menu-right, but when we change the settings to menu-left and logo-right, shouldn’t this rule apply to the mobile header as well?
Hi Rikard.
That’s exactly what I asked, for the Easy Slider. What I am trying to say is that the code didn’t change anything. Please check the URL in private.
In addition to the captions alignment to the right of the image, can you please also give me a separate code to move these same captions closer to the left/bottom corner of the image? Then, I can add the margins in px to make it look like we are planning.
Thank you
Let me just contribute with my code below:
/* Footer Spacing */ #mobile_footer { min-height: 60px !important; } #desktop_footer { min-height: 40px !important; }
This way I was able to achieve the same result by adding a show/hide colour section for desktops and another one for tablets and mobiles to match the height required.
You can close this topic.
Thank you all for your great help, as always.April 19, 2021 at 11:45 am in reply to: Fullwidth Easy Slider – Hide navigation on mobile and tablets #1295236That worked :) Thank you Rikard.
