Thank you @Mike! That was precisely the problem.
August 22, 2023 at 11:13 am in reply to: Single Page Anchor Links without reloading the page #1416847Hi Ismael,
Can you please confirm what changes were made to make this work for future reference?
I had the first 2 links exactly the same as they are, and that didn’t work (or could be a cache issue?).Thank you
Thank you for looking at this, Ismael, and for helping to pinpoint the problem.
The problem was caused by WPShapere plugin, which replaces the editor. I will get in touch with their support.August 21, 2023 at 6:47 pm in reply to: Single Page Anchor Links without reloading the page #1416784Hi @Rikard,
Unfortunately that didn’t work. The pages are still reloading when clicking on the anchor links.
The credentials are below, in private, if needed.Thank you.
Hi Rikard. Please find the credentials below. Thank you.
Thanks @Nikko.
Is there a way we can force the identifier/class somehow by using the class or ID attributes in the developers section of each element?
Could you have a look at the page in PVT and see if these identifiers can be simplified? It is for the social icons in the socket area.
Thank youThat worked, @Nikko, thank you.
Any idea why the code had to change from av_font_icon:first-child to av_font_icon.av-43trzw-4e90d63b2d0af8a326a482a0a72f4edb ?
Thanks, @Nikko
I think your code was working when I was opening the footer page directly, but now that I assigned that page to the footer/socket under Enfold options, the code is no longer working. No matter what value I change (-2px), it doesn’t move at all.
Can you please check the page in PVT and see if this code needs to be changed for the footer area?
Thank you
Thank you, @Mike.
Your code is near perfection.
The only problem is the second icon (Instagram) is 1-2 pixels above Linkedin on mobile. Can you please give me the code to fix this small misalignment?Thank you
Thanks, Rikard. That worked :)
Now, on mobile, I can only make the same icons look fine if I align them to the right/left. If I center them, they will show one above the other, never side-by-side. Is there any easy way to center both icons and vertically aligned correctly?
Please see the screenshot in PVT.
Hi @Yigit,
The code above worked.
We have a new problem now in a different area. Please check in PVT the page. Can you please give me the code to align both social media icons? Instagram icon is slightly higher than linkedin, not inline.Thank you
I did all that and still didn’t see any changes. Clearing the history or all cache on Safari, didn’t work either. I did that in 2 different machines using the latest MacOS and Safari versions. Nothing worked.
However, I played a bit with WP Rocket and clearing the “unused CSS files” solved this problem.
It is solved now. Thank you @rikard, and @ismael for your help.
Hi. Please check the admin access in PVT.
Hello,
The File compression settings were already disabled.
I am using Object Cache and WP Rocket and flushed both multiple times, but the problem persists on Safari.Hi Mike,
Unfortunately, the code change didn’t make any difference.
Just to make sure, I replaced the original code with the one you provided on your post. Is this right?
Let me know if I missed something or how to fix the problem. The only problem is in Safari.
Hi, agreed! The problem seems to be on Safari only.
That worked. Thank you for your prompt reply, Yigit.
Hi @Nikko
Thank you for this lead. Looks great.
I can add the js and CSS code in WordPress through a Header plugin, this is not a problem, but I have no idea how to adapt this to Avia Layout.
Could you please tell me how can I apply this animation code to Enfold? https://tobiasahlin.com/moving-letters/#3Thank you
Hi Yigit,
I think that was the problem. Removing the index.php seemed to have fixed the problem.
Thank you!Thank you @Yigit
That removed the background. Can you please help me with 4 images/row on mobile as well? Or is there any other element that allows me to do this? 4 images (for custom social icons) aligned side by side.
Thank you
Hi @Ismael,
No, I don’t think I have anything hiding on mobile. I just double-checked and I don’t think that’s the case.
Can you have a look at the admin area and see if you can find something suspicious?
Hello,
I forgot to mention the problem happens on mobile devices only. At least with iPhone/Safari combination. Thanks @Rikard.
It worked quite well but the right side is still not totally aligned to the right. Please check the link in PVT from my previous message and the sshot below.Hi
Please check the URL in private.
Thank you @Rikard. That worked.
Is it possible to align the menu to the container?
Left 3 menu links aligned to the left | Logo | Right 3 menu links aligned to the rightSomething like this? https://dns.d.pr/0dZAi6/4sluOFhs5y
The logo would remain centered as it is.Thank you
Hi @Rikard.
The last bit of the code, to decrease the spacing between the links did not work. One line disappears and there will be only 2 lines in the burger icon.
Hi @Rikard,
Sorry. I thought it was an icon.
Yes, I would like to reduce the width/height of the burger menu by 20% or so.
Thank you @Rikard
The lines are thinner, perfect. Is there a way to change the icon’s size as well?
Thank you
That worked perfectly.
Is there a way to do the same to all devices? The padding around the logo will look great in all devices I guess. Many thanks.
Hi Ismael, my colleague did that. Sorry.
Can you check again? The button is within the slider now.
We would like the button bigger (like the one below the slider) but within the slider and with the button fixed on mobile which is not at the moment.Thank you
