Hi Ismael,
The first link fixed the issue!
Thanks so much for your help :))
Hi Rikard,
I have followed all of the above steps and it has still not resolved the problem.Any other suggestions or can you take another look at it for me?
Thanks
Hi Vinay,
I have followed all the instructions, made sure WordPress, Enfold and all plugins are updated and deactivated them all – the issue still occured whilst no plugins were running.
What else could it be?
Thanks
Hello,
I’m having the same issue I cannot edit pages on my website.
Have cleared the cache, tried on different browsers and laptops, theme and wordpress are up to date and I have switched off all the plugins and each plugin individually but still not working.
It loads when I create new pages but cannot edit old ones.
Help please :)
Thank you
Hey again Ismael,
I’ve just had another look and it has worked great on the blog homepage, but not on the individual blog post pages e.g. http://etool.net.au/eblog/events/meet-etool-eco-week-spring-festival/
Is there something else I can add to the CSS coding above to include these pages?
Thanks, Siobhan
Awesome, thanks Ismael. Worked perfectly!!
Hi Ismael,
I was wondering the same thing.
I did as you suggested and the image works fine, but how do I add text to it?
I put a text box over the image, made it large and bold but it doesn’t show up as well as the demo example.
http://etool.net.au/image-test/
Any ideas?
Thanks, Siobhan
Hi Devin,
Thanks I think your ‘guesses’ are spot on.
I got rid of some plugins yesterday and some more today and haven’t come across the issue since.
Will look into tweaking the WP Super Cache as well so it doesn’t happen again.
Thanks, Siobhan
Hi Ismael,
That’s awesome thanks!
I’ve had that plugin for a year but was using the Corona theme until a couple of months ago. Maybe that’s the issue?
Thanks, Siobhan
Hi Devin,
Thanks a lot for your advice.
I followed your instructions and it seemed to work – I didn’t need to create new sliders, just resave the current ones. I think a couple of the files didn’t make it through the FTP which caused the issue.
Since fixing this however I have had some issues when refreshing the site. For me, everything turns to simple text and gets pushed to the left hand side with the navigation sitting underneath each other all the way down the page – on Google Chrome. For others, images layer on top of one another and links turn blue and buttons appear. I haven’t been able to recreate the second one but it this has only happened on IE.
It has happened this morning and a number of times yesterday, particularly on the portfolio pages – http://etool.net.au/projects/ http://etool.net.au/portfolio/octo/ but I can’t seem to recreate it now to take a screenshot.
Any ideas why this is happening? Nothing similar happened before this theme update and wordpress update.
Many thanks, Siobhan
Amazing, thanks Peter!
It looks tons better now :)
Hi Ismael,
Thanks alot for the coding.
I followed your instructions – it was a little fiddly to get the code and images to show in the right places but I figured it out. After viewing it on the website, it didn’t look much different/better than the copy and paste version we had and certainly takes longer to put together.
Adding pictures to tables is quite a standard bit of functionality – are there any plans to add this as a drop down option into the table anytime soon?
Thanks, Siobhan
Hi Devin,
I’ve also just changed the footer from 3 to 4 columns, added a new text widget and it is showing underneath the first footer widget.
I took all the widgets out, changed it back to 3 columns, refreshed, changed it to 4 columns, refreshed and put all the widgets back in and it’s still the same. I tried taking out the 4th column widget and dummy text (archive) was showing in it’s place but still underneath the 1st widget. Any ideas what the issue might be?
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks, Siobhan
Hi Isamel,
Thanks for your response.
Where should I be adding this code? I want to add the images into a single column rather than an entire row.
Thanks, Siobhan
Hi Devin,
Thanks for the advice.
I’ve taken the hover out and it looks just how I want.
For the footer, could I add a border around the widget boxes instead of a full colour and then it wouldn’t look as odd/blocky?
Current coding for this section is as folows –
#footer .flex_column.av_one_third:nth-child(2) {
background: #99cc33;
padding: 10px 10px 10px 10px;
}
#footer .flex_column.av_one_third:nth-child(3) {
background: #eadd12;
padding: 10px 10px 10px 10px;
}
Thanks, Siobhan
Hi Peter,
Thanks for the code. I had the same issue with the full horizontal ruler on the homepage – http://etool.net.au/
So just used this code and it looks fine now!
.hr-full {
margin: 40px 0;
}
Thanks, Siobhan
Hi Devin,
Yes, thanks it’s working now.
I would also like to center the text vertically in each row/column and used the following CSS but it didn’t seem to work –
}
.pricing-table > li {
position: relative;
text-align: center;
vertical-align: middle;
}
Is there another way to do this in CSS?
Thanks, Siobhan
Hi Ismael,
Thanks a lot for your response.
I don’t think I explained myself very well, sorry! I already have this CSS for the social media icons in the header –
}
#top .social_bookmarks_facebook:hover a{color:#fff; background-color:#006666; }
#top .social_bookmarks_twitter:hover a{color:#fff; background-color:#669966; }
#top .social_bookmarks_linkedin:hover a{color:#fff; background-color:#99cc33; }
#top .social_bookmarks_gplus:hover a{color:#fff; background-color:#eadd12; }
#top .social_bookmarks_vimeo:hover a{color:#fff; background-color:#cccc00; }
}
What I would like to do is have the icons stay white and backgrounds the above colours at all times, not just when you hover over them. But I would like to keep the rest of the header bar the current grey. Can I just take the hover word out of the coding?
Thanks for the footer code, I’ve added it in as you can see here http://etool.net.au/
I would like the three boxes to join up so that there aren’t any grey spaces in between them, just grey on either side. I played around with the padding, but it just made the footer longer and didn’t bring them together. Could you advise how to achieve this please?
Also if I wanted to use an image for the background instead of a colour for one of the boxes, what CSS would I add?
Thanks, Siobhan
Hi Peter,
Thanks for the code. I’ve just tried it and it didn’t seem to change the bottom border.

http://etool.net.au/software/subscriptions/assessor-lite/
Is there something else I could try?
Thanks, Siobhan
Hi Ismael,
Thanks for the info.
I’ve got the full horizontal ruler on quite a few pages and when you insert it there’s no option to reduce the padding.
Example page: http://etool.net.au/portfolio/office-warehouse/
I used firebug to find the CSS and got this code – }
.hr-full {
padding: 0px 0 0px
}
But it doesn’t seem to work. Any ideas?
Thanks, Siobhan
Hi Ismael,
Thanks a lot for the CSS – it worked really well. I just changed it to 90px for some bigger tables I made.
For a couple of my tables, there are more lines in column one than two and three, so the last two columns aren’t closed off. What can I do to fix this?
http://etool.net.au/software/subscriptions/open-use/
Also when I create my tables, I can centre the text horizontally but not vertically in each line. Is there some CSS I can use the get the text to be centred in each box?
Thanks! Siobhan
Hi Ismael,
Thanks a lot for your instructions.
I’ve just done that and it looks fine now – http://etool.net.au/blog/
However when I changed the page on Where do you want to display the blog? in the Enfold Theme settings, it seemed to overwrite this instruction for excerpt, so have left it as select a page.
Also my favicon has disappeared for this new page but it on all my others. Is that because it’s new or do I need to do something else?
Thanks, Siobhan
Thanks Peter, you’re a lifesaver!
Hi Ismael,
I would like to remove the padding below the slider on my homepage too, but not sure the top CSS is right for my site.
Please can you advise?
Thanks, Siobhan
Hi Ismael,
Thanks for the CSS. I was using those, but had a conflict in the Enfold Theme Footer colour editor.
Sorted now thanks!
Siobhan
Hey Dude,
Thanks for the link, looks pretty straight forward to change.
Could you tell me what CSS to use to change the footer to all one colour please? (Similar to CSS for header above)
Thanks, Siobhan
July 12, 2013 at 6:04 am in reply to: Portfolio – Grids, Preview + Featured Images Not Working Correctly #128712Hi Nick,
Thanks for the info.
I deleted Corona (after backing up) and then disabled all my plugins. I activated them one by one, checking the page as I went (which was the same as the demo after disabling the plugins) and it looks like Google Analytics for WordPress plugin is the culprit. http://yoast.com/wordpress/google-analytics
I can just add my tacking code into the Enfold Theme Editor instead, but am surprised that this one caused the conflict.
Many thanks, Siobhan
July 10, 2013 at 8:06 am in reply to: Portfolio – Grids, Preview + Featured Images Not Working Correctly #128706Hi Devan,
Thanks for your response.
1) I’m not sure how the Corona theme is still showing or affecting the Enfold theme. I’ve only changed the custom.css file and added the Enfold Portfolio Coding into these pages. Can you please advise how to get this working as Enfold?
2) Can you tell me the width of the central section please then I can change the images to fit based on how many columns I’ll use. The image size info in functions.php is only thumbnails not the width of the website design.
Thanks, Siobhan
Hi Devin,
Thanks for your response and link.
I switched themes from Corona to Enfold so have quite a few blog posts and was trying to avoid any manual editing.
There are excerpt sections on each blog post which are already filled in – should these be showing automatically rather than the full summary?
Thanks, Siobhan
Hey Dude,
Thanks so much for the advice and coding. Will speak to my developer and see if we can sort it out.
I had to use the Vimeo symbol in my Social Media icons as there wasn’t a Youtube option in the drop down. Can I add it in somewhere to the theme files?
Many thanks, Siobhan
