Hey Rikard,
I’ve tried again with the caching plugin deactivated and I deleted the Google Analytics code and I disabled CSS & Javascript merging, but it still shows a lot of white on top of the page in the mobile version. Could you have a look? Thanks!!
Simone
Hi Ismael,
Thanks. How do I find a ratio for the picture which will work nicely on portrait and landscape? Because now it just doesn’t work out. Either the picture on mobile has to be compressed in order to make it high enough for the buttons, or the picture has to be so high that you have to scroll to far on desktop. Am I making sense?
Simone
Thanks again Victoria! It’s still a little compressed though.
Hi Victoria,
There is an improvement, I can see the buttons. But now the image is ‘smooshed’.
Simone
Hey Victoria,
I know I’m so sorry! :)
CSS file merging and compression have been disabled all this time. Do I disable Javascript as well?Done!
Hi Victoria,
Do these work?
New admin login below.
Thanks for your help. I have tried both and deleted cache again, but I don’t see a difference :-(
Super, thanks! Here you go:
Hi Victoria,
They already are disabled.
Simone
Hi Rikard,
Thanks, but I don’t see a difference. This is everything I now have in Quick CSS (made some prior requests about the mobile view)
@media only screen and (max-width:767px){
body .av-special-heading .av-special-heading-tag {
font-size: 20px;
}
@media only screen and (max-width:767px) {
#top #wrap_all .av-burger-overlay .av-burger-overlay-scroll #av-burger-menu-ul li a {
font-size: 20px;
color: white !important;
}
@media only screen and (max-width:767px) {
#contact .flex_cell.avia-builder-el-41 {
min-height: 350px;
}
}
@media only screen and (max-width: 990px) {
.slideshow_caption {
width: 100%;
}
}I have cleared the cache and can see all changes now!
Only question left is how I can adjust the size of buttons on mobile (see picture ‘phone on desktop’ to see what I mean).
Thanks :)Oh, right, lol.
Sure, but how do I attach screenshots here? :-)
Hi Rikard,
I did, both in Mozilla and Chrome.
Regards, Simone
Good to know. Thanks for the support again :)
Disabling caching worked! Thanks so much :) I can now see the column in all browsers, also in private mode. Do I have to keep caching disabled now, or can I reactivate it?
It works, thanks!!
I still can’t figure out how to do this.. Because of the warnings, I am hesitant to change any code in the editor.
Works perfectly, thanks! And thanks for the documentation also.
Hi Victoria,
Thanks or your reply.
My second point is about the last photo on the bottom of the homepage. In the mobile version it is automatically cropped at the top and bottom, so part of my face gets cut off ;-) Why is that and how do I change it?
And a totally different question: why does my website load so slowly? All pictures I use are 80 kb max and there are not that many.
SimoneMuch better thanks!!
– the scaling of the header picture is now off (a bit squashed), what would be the perfect px-ratio for both desktop and mobile?
– the picture at the bottom has been cropped a bit strangely too, any solution for that? -
