Both of the codes worked for my Dutch page (Over Eefke), but not for my (default) English page (About Eefke)…

Hi Jordan,
Thanks for your quick reply!
Unfortunately it didn’t work…Any other suggestion?
Thanks!Eefke
Hi,
Thanks for the idea ‘InsanityNL’ but the language of my site was already English.
I manage to solve the problem with some other steps :-). So I don’t get the error anymore.
Hopefully it stays this way!The only problems I still have are:
1) my secondary menu on the Dutch website is still in English.
I don’t see the menu under Appearance > menu’s.2) I’ve translated my homepage with WPML into Dutch. When I click on home it shows the page perfect.
But when I switch from the English homepage to the Dutch homepage with the flag it shows just 1 blog.3) Where can I translate my footer into Dutch?
Could you please support me with that.
Thanks.
EefkeHi Ismael,
Thanks for your quick reply. Yes I’m having problems with my website, see my other question.
Could you please check that one because I think this hasn’t to do with my hosting provider….Thanks Eefke

EefkeThis reply has been marked as private.Hi,
Thanks for the information.
So if I understand it right, my English website could be the default one and Dutch people can switch language manually.
How do the people on my website see that there is a language switcher on my website when I’ve used for example All-in-One WP Migration?Eefke
Hi Jordan,
sorry I see the typo. See below.
Kind Regards,
EefkeHi Ismael,
Thank you for the clarification. So I think it’s better to create a new installation.
Just to be sure ;), my domain name stays the same and when people visit my website in the UK they’ll get the English version of my website and when someone in The Netherlands visit my website they’ll get the Dutch version?
Is there someone from Enfold who could help me with this, because I unfortunately don’t have an idea how I can do it myself.
Kind Regards,
EefkeHi team Enfold,
Is that easier than using for example the WPML plugin?
And if it is, how can I create a new installation?
Thanks in advance!
EefkeThis reply has been marked as private.Hi Victoria,
Thanks for your quick reply!
Yes, I saw that webpage, but unfortunately I still not really understand which one I need.
I have a very basic website (a few pages and a blog). I translate all the pages myself.
Do I really need the multilingual CMS? What does WPML for example mean with ‘CMS Navigation’ or ‘Translate texts in theme and plugins admin’?What would you advice?
