Hi Devin,
I apologize for my misunderstanding. What I meant was either to insert PHP codes or shortcodes into the Advanced Editor, as either or would provide a solution to solving problems to insert some modular code into the page / post.
A list of some of the shortcodes I have attempted was from here … http://en.support.wordpress.com/shortcodes/ or probably I didn’t get the method of inserting the codes properly.
Thanks for informing me about the limits with the Portfolio options. At least now I’ll just have to rethink on methods to work around it. ;)
Cheers!

For me, I wasn’t able to successfully use any shortcodes within the Advanced Editor interface. Thus, I’ve used another method through enabling a PHP insert plugin and somehow find another way to write some codes to solve the problem. However, through my testing, not all shortcodes work on my end.. Not too sure why.

Robert ChaiHi Dude,
I actually went on to search another plugin called “Allow PHP in Posts” and it works smoothly for me instead. Thanks for helping! ;)

I’ve got it. The problem is due to insufficient Page Links created. It will automatically become just much smaller if 3 or lesser links were created. Insert more links should solve the problem. ;)

Thanks. I’ll try to work it out with some PHP code insert plugins where available. Thanks!

I realized that I do need the two types of sorting working on the same website, meaning RANDOM and MOST RECENT. Thus, would there be an alternative to have the choice of calling up either or within the Advanced Editor? Thanks.

Thank you for the notice. I guess the other question I have is that what codes will return a portfolio item / post tags as a previous reply from Josue only provided a print-reply from the website of “Array” instead of the tags itself.
Much appreciated.

I’ve just tried and tested. Does looks like it works without additional codes. Thanks so much!

So may I just clarify that if I insert the above code, it will by default auto-random the default grid? Please do let me know. Thanks!

Robert ChaiHi Ismael,
Thanks so much! It has been helpful for the breadcrumbs issue. ;)

Would there be a way to work through the Advanced Editor or I have to work through the Default Editor?

So meaning I can’t do it through the Advanced Editor rather than through the Default Editor? In this case, I can’t edit the settings of the Post Grid though, do let me know if there is an alternative?

Also, on a sidenote, when scrolling up to the top, the logo becomes super small and not it is its original logo size.

It does seem to work, though I’m not sure whether the “Logo”-squash effect is suppose to look like that when then height’s resizing can be seen. Given that, the slider’s background doesn’t seem to appear correctly now from the base of the menu and below.
Also, could you direct me at the ‘classes’ to edit for the menu links for a, a:hover , as the layout seem to be slightly offset in height for the menu links. Appreciate it!
With regards,
Robert ChaiHi Josue,
Thanks! Looking forward to the updates.

Hmm.. The logo seem to be jumping around the top left.. Not really full-center. Added the code. But not really working correctly.

Thanks for the code. Sadly, it only works halfway? The logo is still aligned to the left though, any way it can be aligned center as well? Thanks!

Thanks for the help. It works! However, just to clarify… Does the short code insertion only works for a Text Block? So if I intend to use say a IconBox, it will not work? Do let me know.. Thanks!
Regards,
Robert ChaiHi Josue,
I’ve just tried your method, but apparently it displays an “Array” text. May I know how to break it part to show like “Tags: Shirts, Red” something like that?
Thanks.

Robert ChaiHi Josue,
I’m enquiring to display the Portfolio-tags or Post-tags, to retrieve them for display when a portfolio item or post loads into view. Given this, is there a way to retrieve the tags through the advanced editor? As apparently any form of shortcode insertion seem to not work or break the theme, while inserting the code within the advanced editor instead of the default one?
I was hoping of using this method as going through the original code and editing it is really not the ideal way as I’ve paid for the theme in hopes to make my life simpler. Thanks.
