January 18, 2020 at 9:13 am in reply to: Issue with page width on (homepage only) after upgrade of theme #1175784
Looks like I was able to rebuild the homepage, and that’s good enough for now, feel free to close this request.
Are you using Adblock? If so, just deactivate it and it will likely be the issue.
No reply from you in OVER AN HOUR!!! (wtf) so I went in and deleted that custom code you added, and my site is back up.
Wow, what a waste of two hours, nail biting and some crappy support!
Time to find a new template perhaps?
The ONE time I ask for support, and my site gets *messed* and stays down for over an hour, on a SIMPLE REQUEST~!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
hey! I know it seems I’m being impatient here… but if I knew there was ANY CHANCE of my site going down, I would NOT have done this. Heck, its been broken for at least two years… and right now I’ve got some important work to get done, not to mention some important clients looking at my site right now!
Please reply to let me know you are working on this, or I am going to attempt to fix it myself.
I cannot afford to have my site down for an hour like this… whats going on?!!!
Are you able to login? I’ve tested the credentials… but taking my site down is pretty annoying.
Please just revert it back if you cant get it working in the next few minutes…
ok here is ftp access
looks like my site is now down? Im getting errors all over the place: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting ‘(‘ in /home/scheinbs/public_html/blog/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php on line 20
Please just revert this back and get my site fixed… an error is a million times worse than not being able to view the site at all!

you need ftp access?

Hi Kris-
The smaller zip is the one you want to upload or install into wordpress. The larger zip includes the documentation, etc. Unzip the bigger one to see the documentation, etc.
To install go to appearance themes -> theme install, and upload the smaller zip.

Perfect!
Thank you for the support Ismael! I am really liking how fast things are coming together with this theme.
Good work!

Still looking for an answer to this. Turns out, if it cannot be resolved I need to scrap about 20 hours of work and start with a new template, so the sooner I know the better. I think the main guy is on vacation? Either way I would expect (and hope) a reply would come within the same day.
Just like dweb above, we are both eager for a solution to the very annoying problem.
If an image looks bad because it’s scaled, then my work looks bad, and the whole thing goes to pot!
BUMP!!!!!!! :-)

If I go here: http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold/portfolio-item/slider-two-third/ and view the info for the first image, it shows 710×575 (scaled to 666 x 539). I tried changing the functions.php file to 694 x 562 as it says above, but it didn’t change.
What I want is for that image on the single portfolio 2/3 to be 100%, not scaled or it will stretch and look blurry.
I also tried setting the width of the template to wide and widest to see if that changed, but both times it scales to 666. I was not able to find where to fix this, please help! I need to know what size to make about 200 images, and I need it done yesterday. :)
