October 19, 2023 at 5:41 pm in reply to: Accordion Toggle not functioning properly after Chrome Version 118.0.5993.89 #1423036
Thank you, Ismael I am glad your team is on top of it!
There is a side effect from the workaround where the page now jumps to the top every time we open and close the accordion. I have IDs in place so we are not using the default #toggle-on/off values. Any recommendations?
with gratitude,
MarkNikko,
Thanks for the clarification.
Mark
Hi Ismael,
but… that’s too easy. Thank you!!!
Mark
I’ve also included FTP credentials. We are using a child theme.
Hi,
Yes, please do try and modify the script. I need to get this working. :) Also – if you could let me know what file(s) were affected along with notations, that would be very helpful.
Thanks,
MarkHi,
It’s not just my screen. It’s all my colleague’s screens as well. We are not all on the same network either. Some are in the office, some are home, etc. Please don’t just look at it “full width.” Shrink the screen vertically and you will see that the second section drops way down the page. Also the spacing between the two sections varies at full width depending on which tab you have selected. This behavior makes no sense to me. Check each tab and shrink and expand your window. You’ll see it.
Thanks!
MarkHi,
This is happening in IE, Firefox and Chrome. Thanks!
Mark
Well isn’t that the way it goes. I just figured out the problem. One of my tab’s columns was set to “individual height.” I’m not sure why having individual heights would cause this radical behavior but that fixed it for me. A note for others having similar issues – when we use individual height in our columns elsewhere on the site we have to add a “clearfix” <div style=”clear:both;”></div> code block to the bottom of those sections or they won’t display correctly.
Thanks anyway – case closed!
