SafetI know – I only used «socket» and no footer widgets…
The problem is – ONLY ON PORTFOLIO-SITES at the bottom of each portfolio page this empty space appears – I tried to hide it with display: none; but it does not work.
On regular Sites it is not happening…Thank you!!!

The issue is not resolved – it is still there on each of Protfoliopages – the code od fb-root-div is deleted, but it is still there at the bottom…In Enfold environment, when I change the size of a pic to be, e.g., 1030x1030px the pics are non quadratic their actuall size is shown, but smaller of course… and when I take 300x300px pics the pic-resolution is not so good…

The client uses Edge on Windows10 – I have also been looking at other WIndows Versions, Xplorer as well, and it appears pretty nice on all other Browsers…

Sorry for my delayed answer: I had to work further on the page…
Here you may find the issue:
and it looks like this: instead of being centered and covering the page the magnifier is covering only a certain amount of the pagesize and the lightbox image is dropping down :-(
I think the problem is caused using the fullwidth slider… when I use a gallery without the slider it appears all right:
