Yes, you can close this. Thanks!
Yep, that works. My thanks for your trouble. I could have never figured it out myself.
The area in question is the bottom right. See screenshot image at
http://www.denengracechapel.org/media/downloads/screenshot.jpgIt’s just a small gap I want to close up. Not a big problem. But it reflects a design problem I keep having:
1) Sometimes I don’t want to put a TITLE in EVERY widget
2) But if I don’t put a title in a widget, it leaves extra space. How do I eliminate that extra space?
Perfect. Problem solved.
Thanks, Rikard. Just that gap in the footer between the text above (widget 1) and Mailchimp form fields (widget 2).
I can’t figure out how to tighten it up.Here you go. Thanks for the help!
http://denengracechapel.org/gardencity/about/ministries/Mike,
How would I put negative margin in the Enfold Mailchimp widget itself? There is no field for anything other than title, and minimal Mailchimp settings.
I’ve got the same issue. Adding a text widget above only partly works.
If I don’t put a title in the Mailchimp widget, it leaves a gap between the text widget and Mailchimp widget.
How do I close up that gap?I’ve tried negative bottom margin in the text widget above without success:
This worked for the linked image at left, but not the image in middle or google map at right.
I’m at a loss. I certainly do appreciate this great help.Okay. I’m going to squeeze in one more question before closing the thread. You’re being so gracious. Thanks.
Back to my original question above, I’d still like to know how to put a border around specific images on the page (all those without a border). Like the three under my slider. See http://denengracechapel.org/gardencity/home/
If I know how to do one image, I think I can figure it out for the rest of the site as I need.
Thanks for the help.
This worked. I think things are styled to look great now. You guys should be paid for your great consulting! Thanks for your help!
Mike,
Specifically, I’d like to put a frame (like your above formatting) around the featured image in blog posts. And maybe a little more padding below.
I’ve combed through the layout.css file and experimented with things in the Enfold custom CSS box, and wasted incredible amounts of time. It is not an easily done for beginners.
Can you help? Thanks, Mike. What a great forum. That’s what I was looking for. Unfortunately, though, images in posts (which already had a border), now have a double border. Is there an additional line of CSS needed to exclude posts?
