I have resolved this issue.
I personally could not upload the new theme via the backend of wordpress.
So uploaded the new theme via FTP and clicking the selection overwrite if source newer.
Worked perfectly all pictures and forms are back.
I have tried to update to the latest enfold to fix the issues, I get the following error:
Unpacking the update…
Installing the latest version…
Removing the old version of the theme…
Theme update failed.
An error occurred while updating Enfold: Could not remove the old theme.
Disabling Maintenance mode…Attention: We detected some custom styling rules in your custom.css file and restored it ;)
All updates have been completed.
