Mike, also, I turned on load everything in performance for enfold. for some reason when you have load what is needed, it wasn’t loading any of them. so the images, icons, none of the stuff was loading.
Hi Mike, I just went to the website and checked it out. When logged out of the website, I still get the 404 error. And it looks like when logged in it has all the elements disabled. Not sure if you are still working on it. But I don’t think it’s still working.
Thanks Mike. Go ahead if you want to switch to 4.3 and disable jetpack and monster insights. I can always activate them again later if needed. Not even sure if I need jetpack turned on. I will look into the staging site or I can just create a new one in a sub directory, but I am fine with you working on it now live. We can always just switch it back to 4.2.6 if we need to.
confirmed, I uploaded 4.2.6 and everything worked again. There is something in the new update for 4.3 that is messing with ihomefinder.
Yeah, I’m not using wpengine, I’m on icdsoft but using php 7.2 and tried php 7.1 as well. Started when I updated to 4.3. I am using wprocket as a cache program. It just seems strange that when you log out of admin that it stops working for this specific plugin.
thanks Mike, i haven’t. I have been running the same plugins. I even tried disabling wprocket cache and wordfence. Was still getting the same errors. Also, on a previous thread, when clicking theme options or anything under enfold menu the only way to get there is to open in new window, it stays on the same page.
Hi Ismael, if I control click and say open in a new window it will open the theme options page. It only stays on whatever page it is on if I just click theme options or any of the theme option menus while in the wp-admin section.
I have this same issue on my site. I have to go to the home page then click the theme options to get to it. If I’m in the admin already it stays on the same page.
Hi Victoria, here is the link. I removed the above css, because it just hid menu from landscape on iPad. Ideally the burger menu would come up would be great as there are only 4 menu items and they seem to go into the logo.
I am using 4.1.2 and it just hides the menu, the burger menu didn’t come up. I also, would like to know how to do it for landscape mode.
Ok, so I added
// Disable display of errors and warnings
define( ‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false );
@ini_set( ‘display_errors’, 0 );and it hid the warnings. But that doesn’t fix the error that it was finding though.
Yes, now I have:
define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);
define(‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false);and it is still there and not fixed. I have put a link to a screen shot for you to see.
Hi Ismael, it is set to define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false); in the wp config.
July 23, 2017 at 4:27 pm in reply to: Back to Having Error Messages on Updates Page With Layerslider #828712When removing that line of code, the errors still show up, and when you go to the site, the layer slider image appears but the slider arrows and buttons look like they are missing.
July 23, 2017 at 4:02 am in reply to: Back to Having Error Messages on Updates Page With Layerslider #828550Hi Ismael, I am using the layer slider that comes with the theme.
I got it work by following another post. If your main menu item has no link or was just “#” make it your domain name/# and it will work.
Having same issue with this site. Not sure if it’s because of the
Google Maps API warning: RetiredVersion https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#retired-versionI had to leave them open for now.
July 20, 2017 at 3:37 am in reply to: Back to Having Error Messages on Updates Page With Layerslider #824305the add filter doesn’t see to do anything. If I go to this file enfold/config-layerslider/config.php
$layerslider = get_template_directory() . ‘/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/layerslider.php’;
this is the line of code that gets rid of the errors but also gets rid of the layer slider menu on the dashboard when changing to$layerslider = get_template_directory_uri() . ‘/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/layerslider.php’;
For some reason the guy before said it was turning it private?
July 20, 2017 at 2:59 am in reply to: Back to Having Error Messages on Updates Page With Layerslider #824297Thanks Ismael, I will try to change the root. When we tried changing the root before, the layer slider dis appeared. I am using the layer slider that is included with the theme. It’s just strange that it would try and pull the front part twice. let me see if the root filter works.
Any fix for this issue yet?
July 17, 2017 at 9:36 pm in reply to: Back to Having Error Messages on Updates Page With Layerslider #822941That doesn’t help at all. Victoria, is it possible to hand this off to another moderator please? This issue has failed to be resolved in the past bunch of updates. I am sure there has got to be a fix for it.
July 14, 2017 at 2:27 pm in reply to: Back to Having Error Messages on Updates Page With Layerslider #821168Hi Victoria, the little update notification isn’t a big problem. It’s the fact that there are all these error messages that appear on the updates page when updating other plugins or just going to the updates page. Which is what needs to be fixed. It keeps looking for a directory that isn’t there because it is adding extra paths in front of where the directory is as you can see above and for the previous posts we have been posting. I know you have not been able to figure the issue out but could we have Yigit or someone else check it. thank you

July 14, 2017 at 1:54 am in reply to: Back to Having Error Messages on Updates Page With Layerslider #820910Yes, the open plugin is the layer slider. which is also causing the error messages.
I used the WP Rocket plugin and it help my sites a lot. more than doubled the score. I’m now at a B(88%). It is a paid plugin though but only about $40.
https://wp-rocket.meIs this still being worked on? I am surprised that it has been this long and no updates on this fix or why it keeps happening when layer slider updates it’s plugin.
July 7, 2017 at 4:23 am in reply to: wordpress ask for update but nothing appear in update's page with enfold #817568It is layer slider.
Hi Victoria, well hopefully you guys are looking for a patch for this. I am pretty sure it happened once I updated to 4.8. I did notice that layer slider needed an update but that only showed an issue after I updated the wordpress.
I am pretty sure it starts happening after the wordpress 4.8 update.
The errors have come back again.
Update to the latest enfold. 4.0.7 and it should fix the issue. it did for me.
