Solved, thanks.
Solved, thanks.
OK, upon further testing it appears this white line only shows at certain screen widths – and goes away occasionally. Any fix for this?
Also, can I specify a minimum-width for the responsive design? The layout doesn’t look good under 800 pixels wide.
Thanks!
Ryan
I have fixed the sub-menu positioning, however one issue that is persisting:
There is a 1px white line on the right side of the page – I believe this is caused by the full-width-slider that I am using underneath the transparent header. This white line only appears in the latest version of Firefox, see image linked below.
Is there a CSS fix for this particular problem?
Thanks!
Ryan
Please see the screenshot below, from left to right:
IE11, Chrome, Firefox
As you can see, the logo is crunched horitzontally.
IE11
I will try this code later tonight.
One more problem with the site: under IE, the logo-shrink is distorted (crunched too much horizontally, not 1:1). This only appears to happen in IE. Is this something that is fixable? Thanks!
resolved
I’ve resolved this. It wasn’t very intuitive that this only works when there is a slider element on the page in question.
Still haven’t received an answer here – not sure what is going on. I have moved the “transparency test” to a separate page, at the link in the private content below. Can you please tell me what I am doing wrong here?
I have specified a separate transparent image in the Enfold theme settings. I have set a background color of #58031A. I have set the Page settings to reflect Transparent Header. It still renders as an overlapping element, on top of my text. This is not correct per the example image provided in the Transparent Header example image link. Do I need to add some custom CSS here?
Elliott, thanks for the response. I’ve already set the Transparent Logo in the Dashboard > Enfold > Header > Transparency Options as you’ve outlined… And defined the Page with that setting. But as you can see, the background color (a dark red/purple) isn’t showing, and the content doesn’t appear to be positioned correctly below the header. (It’s overlapping the header right now.)
Is there a step I’ve missed here?
