Hi Josue,
Excellent.
Many thanks,
Robert
Hi Ismael,
Many thanks – that’s done the trick.
Cheers,
Robert
Hey Yigit,
Hope you’re well.
If you go to the home page of the site (please see Private Data in Original Post), and in Firebug for example, on smaller screens you’ll see that the text does get smaller but unfortunately the text in the highest position on the page – in this case the words WELCOME TO – does go much smaller while the text under it – in this case the words TruLern Ltd – get much smaller. So whereas on larger screens we have a smaller “Welcome to” and a larger TruLern Ltd (which is what we want) on smaller screens we have a large WELCOME TO and a very small TruLern Ltd (which is the opposite of what we want).
Thanks,
Robert
Hi Ismael,
Many thanks. That works in part but still have the text size problem.
Robert
Hello Elliot,
That does seem to have resolved the issues at all I’m afraid. Any further suggestions?
Thank you,
Robert
Hi Elliot,
Nearly there, thanks. Unfortunately, the caption is still too far to the left at 320, and below 480 the ‘Welcome to’ is much bigger then the TruLern Ltd instead of being visa-versa.
Robert
Hey Yigit,
Once again, many thanks for your excellent help.
Best regards,
Robert
Hi Elliot,
Thanks for the reply. I added the code you sent to the Quick CSS but unfortunately it make no difference. Any further suggestions?
Many thanks,
Robert
Many thanks, Yigit.
Yes, we can close this one now.
Cheers,
Robert
Hi Elliot,
Thanks for your reply. In the end we decided to hide the shopping cart icon on mobile. We can then make the logo slightly bigger.
Thanks anyway,
Robert
Hi Gunter,
Many thanks for your help on this – finally our child is born!
Robert
Hi Elliot,
We worked around this.
Many thanks anyway,
Robert
Hi Ismael,
Apologies for late reply – works well.
Many thanks,
Robert
Hi Ismael,
Thanks for this – much better but still seems a bit small on 320 – anything we can do?Many thanks
Robert
Hi Yigit,
Looks great. Yet again, many thanks for your excellent support.
Cheers!
RobertHi Yigit,
The same issue as before – at 768px – the tabs don’t stretch the whole width, they align with the text above.
Many thanks,
RobertHi Yigit,
Looks good apart from at 768 portrait (769 is OK and below 768 is OK).
Many thanks,
RobertThis reply has been marked as private.Hi Yigit,
Thanks for your immediate reply. That last code works on above 768, but in 768 portrait this a lot of white space on the right of the image because the text is under the image. Also, the ‘60%’ means that the summary text at the top is very narrow on smaller screen sizes!
Many thanks,
Robert
Hi Yigit,
I’m afraid that’s not working here. On 768 and above the text under the price (on the right of the main image) is being placed under the image, not under the price.Many thanks,
Robert
Hi Yigit,
Many thanks for your reply. Currently we still have this code in the Quick CSS, are both of these still required?@media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {
#top div.product .woocommerce-tabs {
margin-left: -54%;
margin-top: 2%;
}}@media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {
#top div.product .woocommerce-tabs {
margin-left: 0 !important; }}Many thanks,
Robert
Hi Yigit,
I’m afraid that hasn’t worked well – it puts the Tabs right but it also seems to place the Quantity and Buy Now buttons below the image and featured images.
Do you think we need to contact Woo about their single product page template? Maybe we need to make some php changes?
Many thanks,
Robert
Hi Yigit,
Many tanks for this. It seems to have worked but previously the tabs box stretched the full width of the page but now it’s aligned to the text above it.
Also, regarding the text above it – previously we had a green tick next to each of the features – those ticks have disappeared completely.
Many thanks,
Robert
Hey Yigit,
Many thanks for this. Still got the problem with the tabs – seem to be cut off on the left hand side, like there is a column covering the content (768 and above).
Robert
Hi Josue,
Well done! Seems you solved the problem. How did you know those invalid links were there?
Anyway, many thanks. Hopefully we can put some links in the footer to our terms and privacy pages.
Robert
We restored the site now from our hosts backup thanks. But we’d like still to get ‘safe’ code to make the Reviews tab default.
Robert
Hello again,
BTW, we are using Enfold on another site and running version 2.9.2. I’ve just checked and we are not getting this problem in the admin of that site.
Thanks,
Robert
Hi,
Sorry In can’t waste any more time trying to get screenr to run! But the procedure is very straightforward we click on Appearance, we then click on Menus, and we get the page that we showed in the screenshot above.
Tried in all browsers and even on an iPhone – same unrendered page appears.
Thanks,
Robert
Hi Elliot,
‘wrap all’ seems to have solved the menu closing problem.
Many thanks for that
Robert
Hi Yigit,
Presumably if we deactivate any plugin the settings will not be lost when we reactivate, right?
Thanks,
Robert
