As you wrote that everything worked well for you, I randomly tried other browsers than Firefox which I use by default and… indeed it works with Chrome, Edge or Opera!
A good cleaning of the cookies will be necessary.
I’m confused to have held you back for such a stupid thing but I would never have thought of that and I will hold back.

In fact this also happens with the Portfolio :-(Everything works correctly when adding any element.
But if we want to modify it, the existing text blocks are polluted and if we want to add a new one it does not work.

Sorry for the late response but I was on another project.
I disabled all plugins as you asked, but the situation is the same.

Text block
This happens for Pages and Posts with a warning for the latter:
“It seems you are currently adding some HTML markup or other special characters. Once all HTML tags are closed the preview will be available again. If this message persists please check your input for special characters and try to remove them.”
On the other hand, it seems to work well for the Portfolio.
