Hi Rikard,
No with these client I have not.
Hi Rikard,
Two questions.
1. Basically I am looking for the “post slider” to be slightly different. Instead of the information below the image. I was hoping to have the info displayed on the image with a nice overlay. How can that be done?
2. Is there a way for the image that goes in the post slider to be different size than what is in the post? (So I want the image in the post slider to be big, but not the picture on the blog post preview)
Login info in private section.Yigit, thank you. So the blogs will still show on the homepage using the blog post element even if I do not select a page for the blog to appear?
Hi Yigit. Thanks for looking. One last question. I want the blog posts to appear on my homepage, but also have other elements on it, like the slider, etc.. When I choose “home” as the blog, it makes all the pages appear on the front page again.
Would I just leave the blog section blank and how I have it set up currently the blog posts will appear on the homepage?
Thanks again!
I will try that but it is not a menu issue I am having. My home page shows content from other pages on my site. I have a contact page which for some reason shows on my page. I also have an “about us” page which show on my homepage.
The menu is not a problem. It is the actual CONTENT from the pages which is showing on the homepage itself.
Can you please look at the page?Hi Yigit. I did that and it did not work. Can someone please help today? I really need to get this part set for the project.
April 27, 2016 at 3:44 pm in reply to: Content inside of Content Slider all of a sudden not showing. #623159This is all set. I added the following code to the functions.php file:
function modify_jquery() {
if (!is_admin()) {
wp_deregister_script(‘jquery’);
wp_register_script(‘jquery’, ‘https://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.3.min.js’);
wp_enqueue_script(‘jquery’);
}
}
add_action(‘init’, ‘modify_jquery’);This has been resolved. It seems to have been an issue with GoDaddy hosting. They moved me to their wordpress hosting platform and it works now.
Also, I noticed that if I go to the “pages” section of my site the “Advanced layout editor” appears and then disappears very quickly.
Can someone please help? I also need help still on the private info in the last post.
Hi guys. I was hoping you can take a look at this.
I am really having problems with images showing on the sliders.
More info on private chat.

Hi Basilis.
The content slider is there, but not showing as I have turned off the text for it.
If you go to pages-Home, you will see the content slider there. If you open it, you will see the image that should be showing.
Thank you!
Hi Vinnie,
If you go to http://www.maintecx.com the site loads fast. If you load a page like http://maintecx.com/products/ it also loads fast.
Then you have the portfolio pages like: http://maintecx.com/products/?portfolio=sales-2 and http://maintecx.com/portfolio-item/community/ which takes so long to load.
If I create a new page and put it in the menu or submenu it moves fast. If I click on a portfolio page in the menu it takes much longer to load.
Hi Basilis. My question is this: The actual “Pages” of the site move quickly but the portfolio sections are slow.
Why would that be? A javascript issue maybe?
Hey guys here is an update:
The host moved the site to another server.
The main pages of the site move FAST. But the problem is the subpages are still so slow.
For example: When I click the subpages (ie: consulting under services, OR webinars under what’s new) it is so slow.
Can you please take a look and let me know if there is something wrong with it?
Hey guys, sorry to look at this thread again but.. I noticed that other sites I have hosted at the same place using the Enfold theme are having the same issue. Can you please maybe look at that? Or what do you think would cause that problem? It is something theme related? If you load the pages (in private content section) you can see they are slow as well. There aren’t even a handful of plugins on those other pages.
Thanks Rikard.
They have added a cache to the site, but still, I am not so happy with that. They said to me:
there are rather many files referenced during site load and there was no cache implemented.
We’ve configured ‘wp super cache’ plugin and everything seems to work much faster. At least ‘time to first byte’ has improved significantly.The host can’t seem to figure it out and I am not that great at this kind of stuff. Do you have any other ideas of where to look what would cause this to happen? Thank you.

June 17, 2015 at 2:35 pm in reply to: Problem with site being hacked and sending out spam emails #460796Hi Ismael,
Comment spam is not the issue.
The problem we are having is someone is hacking into the site and sending out emails.
I was hoping you can tell me if this file is an enfold file and could it be the cause of the problem:
public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/user56.php
As I said it doesn’t let me download it for some reason.This reply has been marked as private.This reply has been marked as private.This reply has been marked as private.This reply has been marked as private.Are there any solutions or ideas on what I can do on this? This reply has been marked as private.This reply has been marked as private.Hi Elliott, that works now thanks – I have one other question though.
I created a tab using “content elements”. In one of the tabs I wanted to insert a table. When I open up the certain tab and choose “insert theme shortcode”, the table is not an option. Is there a way to make that work?
Thanks so much for looking into this guys!
Were you guys able to look at this? I just want to be able to have the answer so I can move their domain and continue work on their site.
