    Hi,

Is this also the way to go for Googl analytics scripts per country?
Or can thos be pasted in the template settings for each country?

    Thanks

    Hi ismael,

I’m not making this up, it is working.
I’ll tried syncing menu’s in WPML with the external plugin classic editor enabled (https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/)
That is working without the error

So for now I’ll use this solution when I roll out the development site on the live website

    Thanks
    Erik

    Hi,

The fix did not work for the site I’m working on.
I now disabled classic editor in the settings, so the block editor is used.
Then the sync works without the error.

The thing is I’d rather not use the block editor as I think it’s is confusing for my client at the moment.
But that’s not your problem ;-)

    Thanks so far

    Hi Victoria,

The images you show me are from the live website. I’m working on a restyling on a copy of this website on another server.
I dot this to be save as this site servers lot’s of countries where PITT deales are located.

In another request I explained how you are be able to see the development site.

In the reply on May 11 I explain this

Hope this enables you to help me out

    Thanks

    @nikko,

Thanks, the host file looks fine to me ;-)

    Hi,

It’s on the homepage. There you can see the row which now is based on elements with a background image. This makes the row show up as I want to, but has no lightbox link to display the images you see.

    Greets,

    Hi Yigit,

Tried your suggested fix, but the error remains. See private content.

in reply to: Trying to have images fit #1215553

    Hi,

A link to the images in the private section
    I’m on a development site.
So if you want to see the site you need to set the IP for the development damina in a host file on your computer.

    Thanks
    Erik

    Hi Nikko,

We tested and it works fine.
Perhaps something is wrong in your host file. Could you show me the contents?
If you ping the domain after activating the IP in your host file, do you get the right IP back via ping?

This is support the other way around at the moment, which confuses me.
If you don’t succeed I’d like you to pass the issue through. As my client expect results (from me).
I’m not getting the feeling we can work this out in the way you handle things and the progress of my work is held up by this.

Looking forward to solving this as soon as possible.
    Thanks
    Erik

    Hi Nikko,

Do you see the page with a full screen foto slider on the site url pittcooking.com?
I’ve asked someone else from outside my domain to try and will keep you posted on this.

One thing is that you have to accept the certificate by hand! It is a self written one for development purposes. Maybe that helps.

I will get back to you soon\

    Any succes yet?

in reply to: WMPL gives fatal error #1213211

    Hi Nikko,

My guess is that you are trying to use the login on the live website.
The site is copied to another server by me for restyling.
That server is the IP address i provided you.
To check if you look at the live website or the one I’m working on is simple. The live site has a dark layout, the new one is light.

If you use this IP to point your computer to when you open pittcooking.com you will see the site I’m working on and where you have an account.
I double checked the login credentials and they are working fine for me (see screenshot)

Hope this will help you further.

    Thanks

    Hi Nikko,

I provided the login credentials in private content, hope this works.

    Erik

in reply to: WMPL gives fatal error #1211363

    Hi Nikko,

The url for login is in the private section
Please notice I’m working on a copy of the website on another server.
    I provided the IP also

The language that I’m working on for the restyling is Dutch/Nederlands.
There I changed the wp-menu items in footer 1.
When I try to sync the menu’s the error comes up

    Thanks
    Erik

in reply to: WMPL gives fatal error #1211084

I fixed the language switcher issue in the style.css
    .av-language-switch-item {
    display: none !important;
    }

in reply to: WMPL gives fatal error #1211050

    Hi Nikko,
I did, but this does not fix the error
    Thanks
    Erik

in reply to: WMPL gives fatal error #1210984

There is also another thing with WPML language selector that shows up twice in the main menu

I work on an offline copy of the website so on pittcooking.com you can’t see what I describe
The IP for the testing environment is in the private content

    Thanks

    Erik

in reply to: Full width images in post #162879

    Hi Ismael,

It does not seem to work.. But if I set the ‘.small-preview’ on display: none the icon disappears. Is it possible to apply this only to specific pages? So that the icon/small preview image will not disappear in all blog posts?

    Thank you.

in reply to: Full width images in post #161718

    Hi Josue and Ismael,

    Thank you for your replies.

Our site is on maintenance mode so unfortunately I can’t show it to you. I made a screenshot of the page I’m talking about: http://postimg.org/image/uf7h3e19p/. So I don’t mean that my featured image is 80×80, but the preview image above the post. I want those thumbnail preview images in the overview of news articles, however, when clicking on an article I would like to show an image as big as the preview image as shown in the screenshot. Or, I want to remove the preview thumbnail :) Doesn’t matter which way, as long as it will only shows one image with the same width as the text.

Hope to hear from you, thanks!
