    Good to go!!!

in reply to: Enfold Theme Update Issue 4.2.6 #926279

Hello. You’re only at more of a security risk IF a vulnerability is found and the theme addresses it. Reverting to a previous version does not mean you are more at risk. That said, I agree the updates have been a mess. I recommend keeping a copy of every Enfold version, that way you can easily roll back.

Also, I recommend always upgrading/downgrading via FTP, rather than using your browser.

In this particular case, if you search the boards, others are running into this issue and you will need to address your PHP version.

Yes, please. The entries should not be clickable at all. I’ve tried to target the recommended CSS selector and can’t get it work. Thanks!

Longtime Enfold user. I used to be a big promoter as well, but I can’t do that anymore, for the reasons everyone is stating and for some others that I won’t go into here. At some point, no matter how much you like (or used to like) something, when the majority of OUR clients are fed up with the issues…well…the writing is on the wall. Enfold can keep promising that things will get better, but that stops working for OUR clients and reflects really poorly on those of us that recommended this theme to them.

Just my opinion, but it appears there is a flaw in the business model.

    1. ASKING KRIESI: C’mon, really? This is getting really old and seems like a copout. I’ve never had plugin or theme support where the team said: “let me ask the boss”. The staff is normally empowered to make decisions or to be honest with customers.
    2. MINI UPDATES: What a fiasco. They are MINI, but they still can’t get those right? Are we BETA testing in real-time?
    3. FORUM: It’s the Wild Wild West. I’ve seen issues get passed by, while the “how do I change the color of..” go 35+ responses deep by the moderator and poster. Those of us with actual issues get delayed responses because of all the really basic issues (noise). I had one of my posts hijacked just this week and the moderator stopped responding to me….because he was busy responding to the hijacker.
    4. FORUM / DOCUMENTATION: Rather than building up documentation and a knowledge base, forum moderators continue to entertain the same questions over and over again. At some point, you have to start referring people to documentation. I’d love to see how many hours are wasted answering the same questions over and over.
    4. FEATURE REQUESTS: Useless. There is absolutely no proof that this is doing anything. See #1 above.

The promises have to stop. Results need to happen. It’s clear that many of us are looking for something other than Enfold.

    Good to go, thank you.

    Who are you talking to?

in reply to: 4.2.4 Issues #919191

When editing a regular button with Chrome Inspector, I’m seeing the below.

    <span class=”avia_iconbox_title“>I’m coachable.</span>

in reply to: Masonry Gallery – Bug #917629

No, but in my 2nd comment I tell how to recreate the issue. I believe it’s a combination of the masonry and animated columns beneath it.

in reply to: error after update 4.2.4 #917224

@Yigit: Do you have designated BETA testers? If you don’t I recommend that you start adopting that practice. That way, you can get a wider range of testing for the different PHP versions, WP versions, one-off hosting scenarios, etc. etc.

Also, it would be helpful to provide a secure link to previous versions of Enfold. Perhaps include the link in a sticky post on the support board.

I cannot recall an Enfold update that happened without consequence.

in reply to: 4.2.4 – Lost Customization Despite Child Theme #917168

Thanks for the help Mike. Let’s just table this. I’m noticing other issues with 4.2.4, so I wouldn’t want to upgrade to it anyway. Thanks again.

in reply to: Masonry Gallery – Bug #916491

I first noticed the issue with 4.2.4. Not sure if it was there prior.

in reply to: Widespread Envato Issues #916167

It looks any version above PHP 7.0.27 is causing this. We are in the WP optimization business, so this needs to work over PHP 7.2.

in reply to: Widespread Envato Issues #916164

Aside from the errors appearing in the WP Dashboard, which is concerning enough, we a literally not able to do work on our sites because of the white screen shown here.

    Sorry, cross-posted here. https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-9-3-and-php-versioning/

Clients cannot run their business, and neither can I…until this is fixed.

in reply to: 4.2.4 Issues #916139

@rikard – Please see the thread below, which is related to the same upgrade. Mike was able to recreate the issue. I’m thinking these are related to the same.

in reply to: 4.2.4 – Lost Customization Despite Child Theme #916138

Yep, that’s exactly what I saw.

Have you released 4.2.5? If not, then… no.

in reply to: 4.2.4 Issues #915851

I reverted back to 4.2.3. I’d just spin up a 4.2.3 site, add a button with some customization from both Advanced Styling (e.g. radius) and in the builder (color, etc.), update to 4.2.4 and see what happens.

in reply to: Masonry Gallery – Bug #915727

    You bet.

in reply to: 4.2.4 Issues #915643

I updated, refreshed my pages, and noticed all buttons lost their formatting. Using Chrome inspector, the button class was showing an Icon Box class.

FTP’d the previous version of Enfold and the buttons came back.

in reply to: Masonry Gallery – Bug #915580

The particular Color Section was pulled in as part of the DJ DEMO. If you look at the DEMO, it’s the very last section where the Contact Form is. The issue is also in part due to the animation of the elements (columns) within the Color Section. Removing the animation allows the elements to appear.

Man, thank you so much. Will post in the FB group, as others have been looking for this.

Yes, there are about 20 on the page. Anyways, I added the script and have the same results. Here is the process….

    1. Under WordPress Support On-demand, there is Tab #1 (#browse-tasks), which is automatically set to open and as all the Icon Boxes.
    2. If I click on one of the Icon Boxes, I want it to go to and open Tab #2 (#submit-details), as if someone simply clicked directly on Tab #2. Meaning, the action is instant and smooth, with no page reloading.

As it is now, I have no idea what to put into the Icon Box URL field. Everything I try either does nothing or it completely reloads the page, taking me back to the top.

I’ve seen these links. They don’t work for my situation.

How do I link from an Icon Box to a specific Tab in a Tab Section?

The functionality is not even in place yet. None of your questions are valid…yet. Please re-read the issue.

Just tested and they work for me.

Hello. I don’t need support on this, as I took care of it with CSS. I’m able to reproduce this issue on multiple sites, so maybe you guys can have a look on your side.

As for a recommendation, look at the below for how the theme explains Google Maps Zooming. It’s written for the most basic users. Screen Options (mobile) are way more complicated than things like zooming maps, but they have less “instruction” to help the user along. One idea might be to it the same way the theme describes the Fullwidth Break Points (e.g. On Tablets (at a screen width of…). The consistency of descriptions/tips/instructions would be key.

    Zoom Level
Choose the zoom of the map on a scale from 1 (very far away) to 19 (very close)
