After updating 4.6 and 4.6.1 google anlalytics tracking doesn´t work. Always 0 visitors.
Is it possible to step back to the last theme version before 4.6? Where can I get the version.?Thanks

thanks for your advice. I tried the css.
It works, but not in the way I want.My aim is that the Slider has max-height:630px, the width can be larger than 1500px.
But if the width is larger than 1500px the picture shall be cut at the top not at the bottom..Is this possible?

that was not my question. As I wrote in #647227.The pictures in the slider shall be wrapped at the top and not at the bottom.
When the slider reaches the max-height the picture shall be cut at the top not at the bottom.Is there a way

you can find the two screenshot at the bottom.Regarding the Problem. I have a Slider with Pictures which are uploaded to WP in exact 1500 x 630 px. At the slider I choose 1500 x 630px, too.
Additional to these Settings I have set the maximum height of the slider to 630px in the custom css.Up to this point, everything is ok. The problem begins when the width of the Screen is bigger than 1500px and the height of picture normally gets bigger than 630px (proportional). Because of the setting of the Maximum height to 630px, the slider is cropping the picture at the bottom.
For us it is very important that the slider croppes the picture at the top. So the bottom of the picture is still visible.best regards ridcon

with your last advice, I can`t solve the Problem.
I dont`t want a to use a Color section. I only want to use a Picture element which is displayed without border / space around.Please have a look at the screenshot.

There are two pictures the first is embedded as image element.
Below, the second images is embedded in an grid.
In case you reduce the witdh of the windows to simulate mobile devices you will se that the first image has a border oder padding zone around the picture. The second picture has no border.I want to use the picture as picture element and there should be no border / paddding area around the picture.

thanks again.I think I need another size because of my problem with the very low Pictures on mobile devices.
If I take a size like 1530 x 430px it Looks nice on Desktop but is extrem low at mobile devices and the caption text is no longer readable.
Do you have another suggestion? Should I take another media element?

thanks for the great Support. Nearly everything is fine.One more question. I use simple Image size. If I add a new Image size in simple Image size I only see this Image in the selection of the full witdh slider when the width of the Image size is larger than 1000 px (width >1000px).
Where can I Change this?

I would like to add picture sizes like 1030px x 800px. Where can I add these sizes so they are offered in the picture size selection in the Slide Show.? I like this picture relation because of the advantage that the pictures are not so low on mobile devices.
Regarding the backround color, at the moment I control the bg color with a 1 px gif picture (red)

I tried it. Every space is gone, the wanted space with the inserted wihitespacer too.
The wanted space, created with the whitespacer is not visible, too.I have tested a more, and it seems the problem is caused trough folling code:

padding-bottom: 50px;
padding-top: 50px;
z-index: 1;
}The padding seems to be the problem.

i have a similar problem. iàm using a chil theme too. I have some customizations made, stored in style.css in the folder of child theme. After updating the theme to 2.6 the customizations in the style.css are not done by the theme.I have inspected the site with firebug light. The problem is, that the customizations of the style.css are overriden by the values of base.css.
copied out of firebug light:

I can´t make a screenshot.
Perhaps I can describe.At our start page http://www.estross.eu, I touch with th efinger at PRODUKTE. The Mega Menue appeares fo ra sort time an disappears so fast that I cannot make a selection within the mega menue. The mega menue should not disappear without done selection.

ridconsorry, it was the wrong link.
in the meantime I solved the problem. in the starting page were a lot of additioninal elements from other pages. I deleted them in the layout buildner and everything worked.thanks
