Thanks Ismael,
I have created identical galleries with the images at height 800px, half the original resolution (see link below) but the time taken to load the gallery is still the same (around 5 -6 seconds on my connection)
I’ve disabled the preloader for the site, but the lazy loading on galleries still doesn’t seem to be working. The entire page of images is loading before anything is displayed on the page.
I can’t reduce the images down to a resolution of 400px, as they will then look very poor when displayed at larger size in the Lightbox. I’m a photographer so image quality is important.
Best wishes, Richard
Der Kriesi,
I’ve noticed that although this css works very well with multiple columns, when the portfolio grid is displayed as a single column on mobiles, there is too much space on the right side of the page. See link below.
How can this be fixed?
Thanks, Richard
Thanks Ismael, this works perfectly
Very nice
Thanks Mike, I’m afraid this is not working.
I’ve been told this is possible by adding the following meta to my page header:
<meta name=”theme-color” content=”#39ff14″/>
How can I add this to my page? Do I add it in theme functions?
Thanks, Richard
Great, thanks Mike
Sorry, how do I remove the page id from this css?
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
.responsive #top.page-id-163 #wrap_all .av-flex-cells .no_margin {
padding-left: 15px !important;
padding-right: 15px !important;
}
.responsive #top.page-id-163 .av-masonry {
background-color: #f5f0eb !important;
}
}Great, thanks Ismael
Thanks Mike,
It’s odd as that css does change the colour above the menu on my iPhone, but any colour I set gets muted so that black becomes grey etc. I’m sure I did get it before so that the background colour matched my menu (I think by setting the socket colour), but now I can’t.
Great, thanks Mike, that works now
How can I apply this to all masonry galleries without specifying each individual page id?
Thanks, Richard
Great, thanks Mike
Great, thanks Mike
Thanks, I’ve tried ‘Remove All Website Data’ in Safari on my phone but I’m still seeing the white frame around the images. It looks correct in your screenshot
Many thanks Mike,
The images are now the right size, but I’m getting a white surround when I should be seeing the off-white #f5f0eb background colour?
Best w, Richard
Thanks Mike,
It’s odd, as the ‘masonry’ grid on my home page is displaying the columns with the correct padding, matching the padding either side of my menu items and other elements on the page.
But I can’t get the images in the ‘masonry gallery’ to display images with the same margins. I have tried adding, and adjusting the css you sent, but the images on that page either display with too much margin, or too little. I can’t get them to match all the other page elements.
How can I get these same margins for the single column ‘masonry gallery’ display?
Thanks, Richard
Great, thank you Mike
How can I increase the padding between the social media icons (link below)?
Great, thanks Mike
Thanks Ismael,
See private link below. The top two items sit inside a standard portfolio grid with two columns. I would like to use the masonry grid instead as this gives me the option to have a gap between each column.
I’m using the following css to position the title and excerpt to the left below the featured image, but I cannot find a way to do the same for the title and excerpt text in the masonry grid.
.grid-entry .inner-entry { box-shadow: none; }
div.grid-content { text-align: left; }
.grid-content { padding-left: 0; }Best wishes,
RichardThanks Ismael,
I’m afraid this css results in social media icons that are not circular. I’m also not getting any background colour until I hover over the icons. See screenshots below and a link to my development site.
Best wishes,
RichardThanks Ismael,
Yes, the masonry gallery is inside a 1/1 column. In a large browser window the three columns of images fit nicely to the same width as my menu. But on mobile screens the images are quite a bit narrower and the margins left and right are much larger than the menu.
Here is a private link to my dev website url:
Great, thanks
Dear Kriesi, I am including a private link to the problematic page below. When I create a new page and add a new video element the problem is resolved. So there is some kind of bug in the video element on older or existing pages.
This is still a bug, thanks
I keep getting this same problem:
Great, that works
Thank you
Excellent, thanks Rikard
Dear Kriesi,
To follow on from this question. I would like to move the pagination elements 1, 2, 3 and ‘1 of X’ away from the left and right sides of the page and have them both in the middle horizontally of the page.
I find that they get lost when out at the sides of the page and the ‘1 of X’ also gets hidden behind the ‘scroll-to-top’ icon. How can I do this?
Thanks
Great, thanks Yigit
Great, thank you.
This works now
Thanks Nikko,
I’ve followed these instructions, but after I check CSS Classes in the Screen Options nothing new appears on the page that would allow me to do your step 4. ‘Add the Donate menu item/link to the main menu’
Where should I see this new option to add the Donate menu item?
Thanks, Richard
Thanks Yigit, that works perfectly
