Thanks for your reply. but i care more what the client wants. Sticky header with logo and burger menu are totally common on phones and tablets. There are plenty of threads about that topic on this board. usually with suggestions going in this direction:.html_header_top.html_header_sticky #header {
position: fixed !important;
}
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
.responsive #main {
padding-top: 0px !important;
}
}. … but that covers the slider or first element of the page. Any suggestions to solve that?
other option would be at least a sticky “burger menu”… any takers?
I also tried the CSS suggested on another thread about sticky mobile header, but that places the header right on top of the slider.IT was actually a Yoast bug and got fixed with their latest update. Thank you for your assistance.

I have a Samsung J5 here.
your screenshot is how it looks when I hold the phone in normal (vertical) position. if I rotate it to horizontal, the image remains the same size )does not adjust to the wide screensize, leaving the big frame around like in my previous screenshot.

still 3/4 of the phone-display is grey frame and only 1/4 the image

I talk about lightbox on cellphones.
having the phone horizontal the images are small and don’t adjust with the big gray lightbox frame around.

Interesting, it is my 5th license, all are the latest version, but only that site had the issue.

I am sure it showed thumb and excerpt before in the older years before some Enfold updates.I hope there is an easy solution and not going through all galleries to change the layout.

the now described issue is that different years have different output.2015 OK
2015 and older NOT OK.
cheersbeen there, done that. This plugin doesn’t work at all for galleries, as a matter of fact, it broke the whole installation after the 4.2 update.
Elliott’s line of code was heading the right direction, just created a “read more” loop

thanks. almost there.The archives show now how I want it. However, clicking on a post goes to the excerpt of the post with another “read more” which reloads the same page again resulting in a endless “read more” circle without getting to the actual post.

if the archive pages look like a search-result page it would be fine. small featured image, headline, excerpt

Well, fixing is something different.
I completely deleted my menu and built it from scratch.The read more solution does not work very good with galleries at all. I look more for an archive which looks like a search-result page.

in both cases all archives and categories are working just fine(back to enfold now.)

thanks for your reply, nope I did not try the plugin for said reason.Lets try a different approach, can I set the default sidebar to a different one? Everything is better than showing all pages.

I am almost sure before uploading Enfold latest version I had it done with a easy modification of the search.php (if I remember correct). I simply can’t figure out how
