March 19, 2019 at 4:05 pm in reply to: Mobil color section image display issue – Background color instead of image #1080372
Hey Nikko,
I see what you mean.
Did you check the backend of the website?
it looks like this:
Let me explain how I set it up and hopefully we will figure out where I went wrong:
– 1/1 Element is set to be always visible. The image inside is set to only show on mobile
– Left 1/2 element only uses a Background image. Hence, on mobile (when the sections go on top of each other) the image is not showing any more. Thats why I created the 1/1 element above and disabled the left 1/2 element on mobile.
– Right 1/2 is the text block and works fine.In the end I want to create exactly the same look as in the very first screenshot from my initial post.
You know what I mean? And maybe have an idea what i need to do?
Cheers
Thanks for the help Guenni007, however the page is not live yet and pw protected.
What info you need?

March 14, 2019 at 10:44 am in reply to: Optimizing images: Should I use more than 1 version? #1078633Hey Basilis,
for clarification:
Does that mean if I upload an image 1920x900px with lets say 200kb this image will be used when some access the page on a desktop.
If someone uses a phone a adjusted image (maybe 375px width) will be displayed which is also smaller in kb?is that correct or will the image still be full size (200kb) in download?
Cheers
RestubeThanks Mike, works perfectly!

March 14, 2019 at 10:28 am in reply to: Color Section: Always display full image, adjust dimensions #1078626Hey Mike,
thanks for all your help!
Well, that´s not exactly how I meant it. Now the Color section is 100% of browser height.
What i was looking for is that the image is adjusting to browser width without cutting the image on the edges.Let me try to explain:
A normal Image element is not being cut off on the edges when browser width is reduced. It will adjust automatically the image size (width and height) so the full image is always displayed. Therefore the browser height doesn´t matter.
The problem with an image element is, that it isn´t displayed full width.I hope this clears thing up.

RestubeThanks for the reply!
Is there also a way to fix the first row and column when you scroll (on desktop and mobil.

thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, it doesn`t seem like your code is changing anything.
For clarification, the code needs to be inserted to the quick css in general styling, right?
Cheers Dennis
Hey Mike,
i figured out what you mean. Its basically what i wanted but the rotation effect looks a bit odd with bigger images.
Is it possible to have the same image switch on hover but with a fading effect instead of rotation? Thanks for your help!

yes, shrinking header is active on my website.
Any other suggestions?

Yes, not on portrait mobile view (as in your Screenshot). When you turn your phone to landscape then the header appearance changes as described above

February 5, 2019 at 10:53 pm in reply to: Testimonials content element display issue on mobile screens #1063392Hey Victoria,
that`s exactly the section I was talking about.
Do you see how the logo is not centered? Is there any way the Icon and the Text below the icon can be displayed in one line?
Or at least center the icon?Cheers Dennis
February 5, 2019 at 10:49 pm in reply to: Switch Image overlay effect to no overlay -> overlay #1063391Hey Victoria,
well the caption is correct – always displayed. However, the main concern is the overlay effect. On default the images are a bit darker then usual (which I set manually). Once the courser hovers over the image the overlay effect disappears and the image is shown in full brightness. I love the overlay effect, however i want it the other way round. Show image on full brightness on default and as soon as someone hovers the courser over the image the darkening effect starts.Does that make sense for you guys?
Cheers
