We found the mistake! It was not the theme!

Sorry. I have edited the post.
We did something like this once before with a different theme and it went through. Hence the question of whether we have to pay special attention to something with Enfold.

We found the error… as usual it was a conflict between two plugins… you can close the topic.

i figured it out for us. The client runs on a old php Version (5.6.) after update to 7.x i was able to connect to the google api.

Same to me.
We launched a new website yesterday and i cant connect the site with the Google Maps API.
i tried it with and without restriction and deactivated the plugins….
i generated a new key… nothings works.
