Thanks Victoria!
Just to check, does the (2) and (3) denote the columns?
So if I were to change my columns around I could just switch these out for the columns I do not want to show? or add – #footer .flex_column.av_one_fourth:nth-child(4) if I also wanted to stop showing my 4th column?
Thanks again, you guys are great.
SeanThanks Ismael,
Is this going to mess with responsiveness though?
Thanks Victoria, I am sending you a private reply with a link to the website. So you’ll be able to see when I mouse off the About section, I want the dropdown menu to disappear instantly. With thanks, Hannah
A shame you didn’t manage to answer this question as I’m having the same problem!
I want to completely disable the fade effect of a dropdown menu (submenu) when you hover off the parent item. I don’t think it’s a bug, I think it’s the intended behaviour of the theme which looks nice, but in this case isn’t what I need.
It looks as though it’s happening with javascript as I can’t find the CSS rule that is makes it happen. Any pointers on where to look would be really helpful. Thanks :0)
That’s brilliant! Thank you so much for your help with this. That’s fixed the issue and my client won’t be confused by the two sets of categories now. I really appreciate it!
Hi Ismael,
Thank you for doing this. I have done a hard refresh in my browser, and even used a different browser and done a hard refresh on that too – but still have the same error message on the portfolio items as before. Can you see it?
So my portfolio items looks like this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B09jSyy0S1omS3RPd1hLbFRMYk0/view?usp=sharing
If you log in and look at that page can you see the errors too?
Kind regards,
Hannah
Hi Ismael,
Here is the error image on my GoogleDrive, hopefully you can click this link and see it https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B09jSyy0S1omS3RPd1hLbFRMYk0/view?usp=sharing
I’ve updated the FTP directory you need to go to to see my child theme. Apologies for not providing that earlier!
Hi Ismael,
Thanks for sending this code through but when I add it to functions.php I get the same issue as before. My Portfolio items list ends up generating errors on the admin page. I don’t think it likes it! Here’s a screenshot of what I see.
I’ve taken the code out of functions.php as others are working on the content in the meantime, but my admin and FTP credentials are in a private message if you want to take a look.

I would like some advice on the same issue please. I am also looking for answers on how to add postslider.php to my child theme. Putting it in the same folder structure is not working for me either, but editing it in the parent theme does work.
How do you add postslider.php to the child theme to avoid overwrites at a later date?
Thanks
