Hi and thanks.
I tied the provided code but it doesn’t work…The mouse button continues to be active. Is there a reason why it doesn’t work for me?
Or is there an other solution?
Thanks and best regards.Hi and thanks.
I tried all the solutions suggested in the provided links by putting the codes in General styling- CSS, but noone worked for me…
Any other solutions?
Thanks a lot for the help!Hi and thanks.
Maybe a video is better than an image. I link here the wetransfer link to download an explain video (i have no imgur or dropbox account…).
https://wetransfer.com/downloads/0160c14503f66c4be9dedbd641b00ac320191018101709/92c640a2f93ea0028a4bc66efea2472d20191018101709/102dd8As i explained the problem is that when i open an image, the “images list” behind the lightbox moves to the top and when i close the lightbox it goes down to the opened image.
Also, on mobile, i can scroll up and down with fingers when the lightbox is open, and it moves up and down. I’d like it to be fixed.
I hope I explained myself better.
Thanks for ypur help and best regardsHi and thanks.
I’ve tried Guenni007’s CSS but it have the same previous problems:
1- on mobile i can scroll up and down with fingers when the lightbox is open, and it moves up and down
2- on desktop the problem is that when i open the images lightbox the “background” images list behind the lightbox moves to the top and when i close the lightbox it goes down to the opened image. I’d like it to be fixed.Best regards
Hi and thanks.
I used Ismael’s media query with CSS in it, but i have 2 issues:1- on mobile i can scroll up and down with fingers when the lightbox is open and it moves up and down
2- on desktop the only problem is that when i open the images lightbox the “background” images list behind the lightbox moves to the top and when i close the lightbox it goes down to the opened image. I’d like it to be fixed. Is there a way to fix these problems?
Thanks, and sorry if I’m so fussy and scrupulous about setting up my galleries!
Best regardsHi and thanks for the answer.
Where can I find css media query? I moved the code provided in Enfold-general styling-css. Isn’t it the right place?
Thanks and best regards.Hi and thanks.
The last code provided doesn’t change nothing in mobile devices…I tried it but deleted because it was not working…
Best regardsA second problem related to the last css is that on mobile the images lightbox is smaller than without this css…
So it’s not working properly…I tried it but i deleted it because it was not working properly.
Now I inserted it again in such a way as to give you the possibility to check the problem I wrote about.Ah, i was putting it in functions.php file, I was making a mistake, because I had to copy it in CSS; copying it in CSS it seems to work.
The only problem is that, when I open an image lightbox, the background images “moves” to the top. It should be locked…Hi,
I tried on my 2 computers only, but the problem is still here…
I’ll try the 2 plugins suggested, hope one of them will be good for me!
Thanks again and best regards!Hi and thanks.
The first code provided for the functions.php seems to have an error, and the second seems to change nothing in the website.Hi and thanks for your kind reply.
As you said that the problem is that i have hidden sections at the top of the page for mobile devices, i tried this solution: move up or down the elements in the editor to be the first (with the down arrow) next to the second (where i need the first to be linked), and now everything is ok.
So i didn’t use ID or text functions.
Thanks a lot for the explanation and the help!
Best regardsYes, I was already imagining that there is not an unique code for all devices/browsers…
Well, thanks again for your help and support with the codes provided, I am currently using them, and I will see in a future whether to keep it or to maintain the “standard” settings of the gallery.
Thanks again! :)Thanks for all your kind replies.
The last code you provided works well, i tried it on Google Chrome on 2 pcs and it’s ok.
Great, that’s what i wanted!! :)
The only issue is that now, when I close the lightbox, the “background” with the images list side by side “moves” up or down to center in the screen the image i have just closed…I tried in Firefox but the problem does not exist, only in Chrome there is this issue…
Maybe can this be solved?
Thanks a lot for your support and for your time! :)For example like this website:
when the image is open the scrollbar section doesn’t disappear but it is inactive.
Hi and thanks!
Maybe I can’t explain with the right words, sorry… :(
I’d like the scrollbar to be always visible but “not working” and inactive when the lighhtbox is open.
I also tried with firefox but the scrollbar is visible like google chrome…
The problem i want to adjust is that when I close the lightbox the scrollbar appears and the page gets a little smaller…the only way is to have the scrollbar always active. I don’t know if it’s possible to do
Thanks for the help!Oh sorry, didn’t know!
Here’s my website page: https://real-3d.it/interni/
Thanks a lot!Hi and thanks.
Sorry but I don’t know what iframe is… :(I link a page of my website with the issue in Private Content.
I used the code provided and I insert it in the functions.php file. The thing i’d like to do is that the browser lateral bar could be “locked” when the image is open, preventing it from disappearing and reappearing every time and preventing the page to scale up and down.
Any tips?
Thanks a lot for the support and best regards! That’s strange, i’m using Chrome on Windows 10 and the issue is right here… :(
I didn’t remove any CSS because the last provided solved the problem with images to fit in the space with no border.
Is maybe there a plugin for images to be shown like masonry gallery but without this issue?
Thanks and best regards.Hi and thanks.
The CSS provided by Ismael doesn’t work properly because if i scroll up with my mouse the images are not fixed and still moves.
The text to insert in functions.php provided by Guenni007 seems to be ok because it blocks the opened images, but the problem is that the lateral browser scroll bar continues to appear and disappear every time I open and close an image, and continuing to scale up and down the page and the images contained in.
It would be great if the browser lateral bar could be locked when the image is open, preventing it from disappearing and reappearing every time.
Thanks for the support and best regards.Hi and thanks.
I link the 2 pages of my website here in Private Content.
As said in the question I have activated the tick to display the down arrow to go to the next section (the issue is on the first section with image at the top of the pages), but if i click on it it doesn’t lead me below, the pages don’t move and the arrow seems to be disabled.
Jordan said to use “an ID of #next-section” but I don’t know how to do it.
Thanks!Hi,
yes, i understand. I’ll probably keep my website as it is right now without changing it.
Thanks for the support and best regards!Hi Ismael and thanks for your reply.
I tried the CSS you suggested but it’s not ok: the first images on the top seems to be locked, but the images below disappears little by little as I go down.
Take a look at the video in the link in Private Content to undestrand better the problem.
Thanks again and best regards!Hi Mike and thanks for your reply.
I already imagined that this was a very “hard” request to solve.
Thanks again for the support, i’ll probably keep the actual settings.
Best regards!Hi Ismael and thanks,
yes, with firefox the problem does not exist, i tried with it and everything is ok.
The problem is using Google chrome.
I tried on a couple of computers where i run chrome: the first PC is an ASUS ROG laptop (g752vsk) and the second is a workstation. I think that the problem is not in the computers (because they’re all updated and powerful) but maybe is related to the software Google Chrome…
Can I maybe adjust the CSS provided, or is there another way to solve the problem?
Thanks a lot for the support and best regards.Hi Jordan and thanks for your reply.
I’ve never used ID-section, so i don’t know how it works.
I tried to insert as you said the text “#next-section” in the below “section ID for developers” dut it didn’t change anything.
Maybe I’m missing out something?
Thanks and best regardsHi and thanks.
The code you provided seems to work on pc, but I tried on mobile and on Android all is ok, dut on IOS it seems not to work and the images scroll up and down.
I’d like to adjust some details if possible, too. I don’t like that when the “browser scroll bar” disappears the website page becomes a little bigger and smaller covering the scroll bar section (disappeared) every time i open or close an image.
Is it possible to have the browser scroll bar locked but visible? Or, alternatively, invisible, but without the website pages that get bigger or smaller?
Thanks for the support!Hi and thanks.
The images are now ok, i tried to clean my browser cache and now they fit in the space with no border (using the first code provided by Jordan). Now i need to adjust the “flickering” issue in the loading of images…
I link in the Private Content here a video where I marked the “flickering” errors with a “NOW” written.
I hope you understand now the issue: I don’t mean the animation, that is ok, but the fact that the images seems to disappear and reappear in a split second several times…
Thanks for the support and best regards!Hi and thanks,
i link here a video where you can see that in the masonry galleries, when i open an image, if i scroll up or down when the image is open, it moves up and down.
I’d like the images to be fixed on the screen, even if i scroll up or down.
Thanks a lot for the help! -
