Hi Ismael, I wasn’t using a fullscreen slider, I was just trying to insert an image inside of a color section. Will it not work that way?
Thank you for investigating the matter. I will do some more testing myself as well and will let you know if I discover any patterns.
Thanks Yigit, but this is still not working:

the image is still not full screen and is positioned in the upper left area. This reply has been marked as private. Thanks Andy, but I am not using the embed code, I am using the video’s URL in the background video field of the color section, which doesn’t even take any html.
I think the problem is that looping with Vimeo in the background of a color section is simply not consistent. Can you please confirm this with the developer? This functionality is crucial to my project and the primary reason I am using Enfold.
Thank you.
Hi Andy, Vimeo background video looping seems to work intermittently. I have posted a sample 30″ video in 75% that now seems to be looping, but not always (Firefox). Also, I am experiencing a strange green aberration that only occurs at the loop point, which I’m not sure is coming from WordPress or Vimeo.

You might want to turn your volume down for this!
Thanks, Randall

Thanks Yigit, this is very helpful.
Thanks Yigit, however this doesn’t seem to be working for me. I put this in my Quick CSS:
#immersive .container { width: 100%; margin: 0; }And then put “immersive” in the Section ID of a color section, but the image contained within the section is not full screen:

Best,
Randall
Sorry if this is a beginner question, but does the added code go in any particularly location? The beginning? Does it matter?
Thanks, Randall
Do I need to create a class for these attributes and place that in my custom CSS, or can I just input the attributes into the image css class field in the image?
Thanks. Randall
Thank you for the detailed explanation. I am creating an online “artist-book” that has no menus, header, footer, etc., and just want to create completely customized navigation. I think pages will work best for this, but would it would have been nice to use the archival features of blog posts for back end organization of the project. Anyway, hopefully at some point each blog page can have its own custom layout.
Hi Arvish,
This is the first time I have added php to my child theme, do I copy the whole header.php file into the child theme folder, or just a blank header.php file, then adding the above code?
Thanks for your help.

Thanks Ishmael. You lost me when you said:
“you’ll be able to edit the blog page using the Advance Layout Builder”
Where do I go to edit the “blog page”? You don’t mean an individual blog post, so I am not sure what you are talking about here. I have a page designated as to be displayed as my Blog Page in the Theme Options, but this is a different paradigm that I am used and I don’t understand how this works. A few step by step instructions where would be helpful as to (1) establishing a blog page, (2) editing it, (3) using it for the blog feed.
Thanks for the clarification.
Randall
PS: I have been going through the documentation and it’s great, although somewhat limited, not covering all the functionality of Enfold.

October 4, 2014 at 2:36 am in reply to: Back and Forth Between Default and Advanced Layout Editor #330021Thanks Devin. I am so impressed with your theme! I’m trying to create a radical full screen immersive experience, and Enfold works quite well!

Never mind, I guess the settings were cached, I now have a perfect black background. Wondering though how to prevent settings from caching? It makes it hard to see what you are doing.
Oh, OK, just different terminology, I am of course familiar with the blog feed. You are not talking about the category archive, but the feed for all blog posts. But, sorry to sound like a beginner, which I’m not, so how do I modify the blog page with the advance layout editor and what effect will that have on the individual post pages?
I guess I am not understanding what is meant by the “blog root page.” Do you have documentation on this? I have used other WordPress themes (i.e. Pagelines) but have not come across this idea.
Thanks.
Hi Devin, thanks for your response. I am not following you in your reply: Why does the menu item say: “use the advance layout editor to build.” Is this a function that is not yet available?
What I want to do is strip down a blog page to nothing but the title: no featured image, no menu, no header, etc.. You can do this with a page, but not with a blog post.

Working! Thank you Yigit!! Randall
That’s working great! Thanks a million. Randall
Is it only possible to loop background Vimeo videos by editing the section.php file? And does that mean that either all background videos loop or not? Is it possible to have a choice? I would like some videos hosted by Vimeo to loop and some to only play once. It seems as though this kind of control would be important to many developers.
I am curious why you don’t allow embed code rather than the URL, to provide more control over the playback of Vimeo.
However, the display of full screen Vimeo with no controls or pause button is amazing! I have been trying to do this for a long time with various sliders, etc., but Enfold gives the cleanest look to full screen video I have seen:
