Hey Rikard,
Sorry, still no changes, cleared the cache at Pantheon (host) and reloaded my galaxy a bunch of times.
Below are credentials for our development space if you want to take a peek and try some stuff out.But, just to make sure we’r on the same page, it’s the bottom two boxes in question. The PatientRemedi and Credit Balance text, patterns and pills are all from the back ground image. The CTA text and button are Enfold.
On my phone, it is super close to looking good, it’s just that a few letters of PatientRemedi and Credit Balance get cut off (not worried at all about the pills).
Thanks!

So that keeps the “Resources” drop down item from turning white at hover, which is awesome.
But, when you click on “Resources” and go to the resources portfolio page, the main parent nav item “About Us” still turns white and thus disappears, (although it does reappear upon hover).
Any ideas?
Thanks Rikard,
Unfortunately I’m not seeing a difference on either the Hospitals or Providers pages.Any ideas?
Awesome Jordan and thank you, looks and works great!
Thanks Jordan!
Hey Jordan,
Sorry for dropping off the face of the earth. Client had us put a hold on everything.
So here’s what my current functions.php looks like, with no effect, still links and everything:
<?php/*
* Add your own functions here. You can also copy some of the theme functions into this file.
* WordPress will use those functions instead of the original functions then.
*/add_theme_support(‘avia_no_session_support’);
add_action( ‘wp_footer’, ‘enfold_customization_custom_scripts’ );
function enfold_customization_custom_scripts() {
?>
<script type = “text/javascript”>
jQuery(document).ready(function(){
//document.getElementsByClassName(“page-id-734 av-masonry-entry”).removeAttribute(“href”);
});
</script>
<?php
}If I take out those two backslashes before the custom javascript you supplied, it just messes with the entire site–no video, paralax images vanish. Any ideas?
Hey thanks Jordan,
Where would I add that to? Anywhere in functions.php?
April 5, 2017 at 5:45 pm in reply to: Transparent menu settings interfering with non-transparent pages #772693Hey Rikard,
We’re good to close this out and thank you very much for asking. While there may be a thing or two left to work out for special cases, the short code in this thread should work really well for most folks who need different color nav links for transparent / normal pages!
Thanks again to you and Mike for the help,
MJ
Hey Jordan,
Just wondering if this fell off your radar. Would love to get this ironed out.
Thanks!

Yeah I’m sorry I had to delete all the experimental pages and such from the site–no custom links exist up there any more for you to check out.
Hey Jordan,
Looked through the CSS for pointer-events and found nothing, but resaved the Quick CSS field (and just to let you know, I’ve logged in and out of the site multiple times) and now it’s gone–should be a fresh start.
Thanks Jordan
Hi Jordan,
First off, any idea why that dissapeared from the Quick CSS section? Never seen that happen before.
Also, any ideas on:
So that kills the links for sure which is awesome, but we also lose the rollover / individual square effect that my boss was really into.
Is there anyway we can have the links gone, but still have that roll over effect? I know he’ll look at it as is now and say we might as well just make a single photo background.
Thanks, I’ll check for that code.
Hey Jordan,
That is a head scratcher right there. I installed the code in Quick CSS, it is not showing up any longer, yet the effect is still the same. Just double checked with our developer, he’s done nothing relating to it.
Sure thing Jordan and thanks! All that good stuff is below.
Hey Jordan,
Thank you so much. I think we’re half way there!

There’s an option to “optimize” the Typkekit embed code.
Just go to Kit Settings and check the “optimize performance” box. I hesitate to say so because I thought I’d already sorted the problem out, but after a 5 minute propagation period it seems to be working very well!
March 23, 2017 at 7:12 pm in reply to: Full Integration With Adobe Typekit & Typekit Plugin Try 2 #765673Yeah Ismael,
Ha, that took you 15 minutes, me, a few hours if I’m lucky. Gotta crawl before you can run.
b3Plus, thanks for the tip, unfortunately the plugin refuses to accept the “false” value, just switches it back to true.
Back to the drawing board.
March 21, 2017 at 6:12 pm in reply to: Full Integration With Adobe Typekit & Typekit Plugin Try 2 #764292b3plus, thank you very much, I’ll give that a shot! And yeah, that would be great if Enfold made that a little bit easier or got a designer to pick out a more robust set of native fonts so you can get a close-enough match for a lot of choices.
Ismael, that is great for the future. I’ve struggled in the past to get Enfold site to score well on Google Page Speed. Much appreciated. Unfortunately all that stuff is above and beyond the amount of time I can put into this particular site. On top of that, we’re using Pantheon, which is great, but as I’ve found does introduce some performance variables with Enfold that we’re encountering as we go (for example, the icon loader does not work with Pantheon), so it’s possible that after all that, it could just be a Pantheon thing.
Thanks all!
March 15, 2017 at 4:25 pm in reply to: Transparent menu settings interfering with non-transparent pages #761482Hey Rikard,
It just didn’t work on them–still went to white at hover–but they were just placeholders for our site, so I removed them. At this point it’s not possible for me to put them back so you can get a peak (site’s under review) but if it’s helpful, here’s the full short code we got going on, perhaps we’re getting some bits and pieces that aren’t playing nice with one another.
.sort_by_cat a span {
font-size:20px!important;
}#avia-menu li:hover a {
color: #666666;
}.avia-no-number { opacity: 1; }
.av-menu-button-colored span.avia-menu-text {

color: white !important;
}.header_color .main_menu ul:first-child > li.current-menu-item > a, .header_color .main_menu ul:first-child > li.current_page_item > a, { color: #666666;}
.header_color .main_menu ul:first-child > li.current_page_item > a { color: #666666;}
.helvetica-websave {

March 13, 2017 at 5:26 pm in reply to: Transparent menu settings interfering with non-transparent pages #760116Hey Mike,
Thank you for your patience as well,
That solved our problem, but for anyone checking around threads for a similar solution, just a heads up that the fix does not work with Custom Link items for some reason.
I had a couple up that I was just messing with that I did not intend to keep, so I just got rid of them and the last piece of code did the trick. Not sure how you’d modify it to include custom links as well.
Thanks!
Thanks Vinay,
Works like a charm!
Have a great day-
March 6, 2017 at 5:49 pm in reply to: Transparent menu settings interfering with non-transparent pages #756521Hey Mike, that didn’t fix the total problem, the nav item still turns whit when hovered over and dissapears over the white background.
Any way I could get some help on this? This is a weeks running problem.
Here’s all the short code currently in use on the site. Check out the private link and mouse over any non-active menu item, you’ll see what I mean.
Thanks

March 2, 2017 at 10:48 pm in reply to: Transparent menu settings interfering with non-transparent pages #754680Thanks Mike and sorry for the delay,
Got pulled on a different project until now.
So close! Now it’s just the hover that still turns white!
February 24, 2017 at 11:22 pm in reply to: Transparent menu settings interfering with non-transparent pages #751639Thanks Mike,
One step close-r-we have #666666 in the sticky menu, but not when it’s full size at page top.

February 20, 2017 at 6:31 pm in reply to: Transparent menu settings interfering with non-transparent pages #749514Hi Yigit,
Unfortunately that’s not fixing the issue. It’s not the transparent menu color that’s the issue, it’s the text color. (But I did give it another shot via transparency options and General styling header font color settings–no luck.)
On the homepage (see below), we have the glassy transparent header just right–white font for menu items, white font for acitve links. (we would like to be able to have a different color bar under the link if possible, right now I can’t change it from #666666 otherwise I’ll overwrite other font color settings, but this isn’t critical).
But when we go to an interior page (see below), we have the menu color they way we want it (white) and the menu items the way we want it (#666666) but the active links turn white–causing the text to dissapear.
Put it another way, what’s the quick CSS for separate header styling on the homepage with a fullscreen video and transparent glassy header vs interior pages without a fullscreen video and normal header?
Thanks, sorry if I’m being confusing!

Worked like a charm.
February 16, 2017 at 12:47 am in reply to: Whitespace Content Element Doesn't Work Consistently #747733Sure Rikard and thanks,
Please check the private link below. Mind you, the padding looks fine right now because I cropped all the logos to have zero padding of their own, I’d just like to be able to make it whatever need be in the future.
February 13, 2017 at 8:55 pm in reply to: Full Integration With Adobe Typekit & Typekit Plugin #746609Thanks Rikard,
The one thing that has me a bit worried is that there is detectable lag in font, meaning that you can see the text switch from the default font to the new Adobe Typekit font. Only lasts about a second (just look at the homepage menu bar while hitting refresh), but it’s the type of thing that a client can fixate on.
Any ideas?
Thanks Basilis,
This is likely my 10th site developed with Enfold and I had never used that function before, just checked it out in the demo and that will do nicely.
Much appreciated!
