Found it, I was deferring JS and stopping that fixed it.
February 3, 2018 at 1:47 am in reply to: ENFOLD Theme Implement Deferred Parsing of Javascript? #907146That’s what was happening. Nice one, please close.
I believe this was a conflict with another plugin. Please close.
January 31, 2018 at 10:06 pm in reply to: ENFOLD Theme Implement Deferred Parsing of Javascript? #905842I tried this and got
htaccess: Invalid command ‘add_filter(‘clean_url’,’async_js’,11);’, perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration, referer:No that’s fine please close this ticket
I ended up using the search I found in the tutorials as it was integrated and works well. Please close this ticket. For reference I used relevanssi but there’s two options in the tutorials:
search-wp https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/use-searchwp-instead-of-the-standard-search/
relevanssi https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/use-relevanssi-in-search-instead-of-the-default-search/Please close this ticket
It is working, please close this ticket. Thanks for checking.
Thanks, good advice, it was caused by this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-search-on-product-sku/
Found it. It’s in the main menu options (which was probably pretty obvious)
Here is the link in case anyone comes here. It didn’t answer my question though. https://kriesi.at/support/topic/disable-search-function/
It mentions that there’s a way to disable the search function via the theme options, but I couldn’t see it. Any further advice on that?

It’s custom code I found thanks for the update. Weird, I’ve seen it on two sites :) Please close this ticket
No, not the cart button. When you scroll down the item you have added to the cart comes into show in the header bar. Is that part of Enfold?

JS files were not uploaded please close. Schoolboy error.
Can you mark this and my query about search as closed please
I’ve decided to FTP all of the files again in case anything is missing.
I would have used Akeeba Backup to migrate. But in fact, what I did was use Siteground staging to push from the live to a staging. But I think I copied the database from an old one in an attempt to get some old settings. In any case, I’ve done a find and replace now so that should not be the issue. Ok, I checked the files were somehow missing. Which makes little sense. So I’ve uploaded them, this problem is now solved. The search problem is also solved.
Perhaps I should reinstall the theme altogether.
This may be related to my other ticket https://kriesi.at/support/topic/shortcodes-jsve-404/
Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Good idea. I think I have four threads running and three could be related potentially. I didn’t want to create one thread with all of the problems I assume that was the correct idea?
hmm, but I’m not using WPML. Is there anywhere else this could be set? I don’t really want to install a plugin for this purpose.
Ok, so now I have done a fine and replace. I see the correct URL for the /js/ files. I see that they are https: but they still 404. Could it be because of the variable at the end of the string?
Sorry attached. You may need to enter it twice.

Sorry, that was foolish of me. See attached. Sometimes you need to enter it twice. Not sure why.
