Hey Yigit!
Is it recommended that you only upload the icons that you plan on using? I wasn’t sure if the theme uploads all the icons ahead of time when someone visits your site.
thanks

Hey judes3011. This confused me at first to. I kept looking in the header options but it’s not there. You have to visit each individual page that you want the transparent header in and set it there. So if you want it just on your home page, you have to visit the home page in your admin and choose the option there.
June 21, 2015 at 3:38 am in reply to: Bit confused on how Enfold sizes images for the full-width parallax effect. #462271I’m still a bit confused. I don’t understand why the image is getting enlarged for the parallax effect. In my case, an image that is 1920 x 400 is plenty big enough already for a 250px custom height.
In other themes where I’ve used parallax, they don’t enlarge the image. The amount of parallax simply depends on how much height the original image has. So if you’ve asked for a section to be 250px wide with parallax, then how much parallax you have to play with depends on the height of the image. If your image is only 250px, then you won’t have any parallax. If your image is 500px in height, then you’ll notice a lot of parallax.
As a designer, when you enlarge an image on me, it is frustrating because I want my image to look a specific way. So maybe this is something you can consider in the future.
So basically what you’re saying is, in order to get around the image enlargement, I have to use a fixed banner?
Is there a way for me to alter the code to stop the images from getting enlarged for the parallax effect?
Thanks for your help :)

Is there a way to keep the images from being enlarged?
Thanks
Hi,
Please be more specific.
Thanks :)
Also, whenever I submit a question, the browser page goes blank (the question gets submitted though). So there appears to be an issue with Chrome. Just thought I’d let you know.
Did you mean to use padding-top?
It’s still acting a bit funky. I noticed that for your demo, you simply add some transparent space around your logo. That would seem like an easy enough fix.
This reply has been marked as private.I can’t speak for Matt, but when I use that code, my logo literally scales down to about 15px wide as I scroll. It then pops back to full size once the header is done shrinking.
Thanks for asking, Matt. I’m having the same issue. And I’m curious why his logo doesn’t really shrink much like in the demo. Mine doesn’t shrink at all.
thanks
