Could it be that there is no chance to order the categories? When I add blogs to new categories ‘aaa’ or ‘zzz’, these categories will always be shown at top.
This means that ALWAYS categories with new blogs will appear at top and that there is no chance to get them in ascending or descending order?

Thank you for your response.
I have added an array_reverse(..) in both lines that you marked before it is assigned to $id_array. But without success. The categories will still be shown in ascending order.
Hi,
Unfortunately I didn’t get an answer so far to my last reply.
IMHO (maybe wrong opinion) this should be possible using a filter with ‘ORDER BY’ in the mysql query. But I do not know the name of such a filter – if there is any.
This problem has been resolved in the meantime. It was a crazy caching problem.
Oh, I must have been blind…
But thank you of course.
Hi,
You can see this on my testing pages:

The current sorting order under KATEGORIEN (CATEGORIES) is ascendant (2018, 2019, 2020) and I want it decendant (2020, 2019, 2018).
BTW: I have another question concerning this page. See
Thank you.
Hey Victoria,
I have written some posts, which I added f.e. to category ‘Spielberichte 2019’ with slug ‘spielberichte-2019’. As in Settings > Permalinks The category base is set to ‘berichte’, you can call this category page automatically using the url ‘…/berichte/spielberichte-2019/’.

This is a wonderful short and compact blog posts page for soccer results. What I want, is such a layout for the blog posts element, where I can add a special heading or additional text about the list.
