  • in reply to: Blog navbar logo, how to fix wrong position? #823161

    Hi John,

    Here it is:
    Screenshot

    I don´t know why, but despite the screenshot is not show here, it can be opened/downloaded with the mouse right button option.

    Thank you Victoria,

    It´s almost perfect. With the code you have provided the featured image links don´t work anymore, but:

    – The post featured image still fades out on hover.
    – The mouse pointer always show the arrow for the whole site (not the hand, as expected on links)
    – On image links like the masonry posts grid at the blog page, the hover icon is gone.

    I really appreciate your help with these issues.

    Thank you again.

    Hi Rikard,

    I have tried several solutions and finally I removed them from quicK CSS as they haven’t worked.

    If you can access that section feel free to type any code there, but as I said, your previous solution didn’t work.

    Thank you.

    Hi again,

    It´s very frustrating as no solution works on my site…

    https://kriesi.at/support/topic/how-to-remove-a-link-to-the-original-image-from-a-featured-image

    #top.single-post .big-preview.single-big a,
    #top.single-post .small-preview {
    pointer-events: none !important;
    cursor: default !important;
    }

    Anyone knows how to effectively remove the link on the big featured images of single posts?

    Thank you.

    Hi Guenni007, nice solution! Thank you.

    Finally, for making each lightbox link customisable (i.e. keeping the footer links without the arrows and with some particular scale, but a lightbox gallery or image with the default settings on the same page), is there any parameter (class, id, or something) that could be set at the ?iframe=true link, instead the page-id CSS class?

    Thank you.

    Hi Rikard,

    The .mfp-arrow rules worked, thank you so much. In this case I removed the page id to prevent the arrows in the footer section links (Aviso legal, Política de privacidad and Política de cookies).

    Regarding my first question, how could I change the size (or margins) of the lightbox popup window?

    Thank you again.

    Hi again,

    I have found that adding ?iframe=true at the end of a link it opens the lightbox, but in 16:9, any idea about customising its size?

    Thank you.

    Thank you Yigit,

    Buy for some reason, despite I tried your last solution with the latest version of Enfold also, I get that sentence in English:

    Search

    And the weird thing is that in es_ES.po the string is already translated:

    “If you are not happy with the results below please do another search”
    “Si los resultados no te satisfacen, intenta una nueva búsqueda con otros términos.”

    IMPORTANT:

    I´ve changed that string at search.php to BELLOW again:

    echo "<p>".__('If you are not happy with the results bellow please do another search','avia_framework')."</p>";

    And the sentence is shown in Spanish at the search page (!)

    The es_ES.po and es_ES.mo should be in enfold/lang/, right? That .po has “below” instead “bellow”, I don´t understand anything… :S

    PS: Could you explain me how could I ” Update from sources” the es_ES.po downloaded to my computer? When I click that option Poedit gets blocked and the progress bar doesn´t move.

    Thank you again.

    Thank you Yigit, it worked ;)

    in reply to: Tags search #233123

    Thank you so much Ismael,

    But I think I would be better that the theme search could find posts by tag terms by default, instead of installing a plugin. For what are tags then? One of the capabilities of the tags is to group posts, the other is for SEO and internal search purposes. In that case, at this moment tags search doesn´t work as expected in Enfold.

    Regards.

    in reply to: Issue regarding quality of responsive images and more #204276

    Hi Ismael,

    As I tried to explain in my previous message, the logo issue occurs after loading the page and then you narrow the browser (from i.e. 1000px to 300px) by hand. If you load the page directly no matter the browser window width (i.e. 300px), the logo is shown ok. Maybe is a problem of the responsive framework itself.

    About the image rendering, take a look to your capture: the logo is ok but the LayerSlider is so pixelated. What browser are you using? Could you definitely check this issue, please? No matter the good theme Enfold is if the images cannot show up at their best quality in most popular browsers.

    And the last question -that no one has answer it yet, is how to change the way the images pile up in responsive from 1-2-1-2 to 1-1-1-1. Example:
    logos

    As you can see in that capture, when the window is narrow the logos appear that way 2-1-2 instead all at the same size and 1-1-1-1-1 in one column. Do you know how to change it?

    Regards.

    in reply to: Issue regarding quality of responsive images and more #204072

    Thank you Peter,

    It works! But now in Safari when the image is resizing while scrolling the page, it is shown pixelated, although when the logo stops resizing, it renders ok. If you know any solution that works for all browsers, it would be perfect.

    But still there´s the issue when narrowing the browser window, as you can see in my captures, the top header (social icons and phone) pushes the header and the logo is hidden and the scale of the logo is bigger than expected. Trying a lot of options, I have figured out that this issue happens when you put something in Enfold > Header > “Phone Number or small info text”. Content in that field makes the logo bigger and that way it doesn´t fit into the header band. It only happens when narrowing the browser window by hand, not when the page open in a smartphone. Hope you know how to fix it.

    Regards.

    Hi again,

    I don´t know if it´s the regular behavior, but the header navigation bar doesn´t keep at the top when the page is about 980px wide or less, despite this option was previously selected: “Fixed Header With Social Icons and additional Navigation”. Could this threshold width be changed?

    PS (images in Firefox): You can also check that your Enfold demo site has the same image resize pixelated issues in Firefox:

    – Take a look to the Enfold logo when it’s resized scrolling the page:
    Enfold logo in Firefox

    – Take a look to your demo customers:

    in reply to: Please contribute and translate Enfold #114947

    SPANISH TRANSLATION COMPLETE

    Hello,

    Here you have Enfold .po/.po files completely (100%) translated to Spanish/Spain.

    http://bit.ly/enfold-es_ES

    Note: Though they´re already translated, many strings aren´t shown in Spanish at the front-end / back-end. Please, review it at Kriesi because it´s a pity having all the strings translated and most of them not working yet.

    Regards.
