  • Hi,
I just updated the latest Enfold version 4.2.3 from yesterday, and now the tab section content height problem seems to be fixed, as said also in the changelog (- fixed: a problem with tab section resizing). At least on our site these accordion panels in the tab section work fine again. Thank you!

    Hi Basilis,

thanks for your reply. Do you have any idea what “soon” means? A few days, a week, two weeks, a month…?

    Hi,

I have the same problem (number 2): After I updated Enfold 4.2.2, the Accordion panel in the Tab section does not work properly anymore. Please find an example url on the Private content section. On our site we have many pages like that, which have a closed accordion panel inside the tab section. Before the latest update, when we opened the accordion panel, the tab section height increased according to the content. But now, if we open the e.g. panel “2017”, the height of the tab section is the same as it was when the panel was closed –> not showing the whole content of the panel because it doesn’t fit to the space.

    What can we do?

Thank you Jordan for your quick replies! You may close this thread. :)

Thanks, I got them changed via SFTP. You said that some files may require 777, so what about your Enfold theme updates in general? Do I need to change these same directories back to 777 before updating the theme next time?

Thanks for your reply, Jordan. A few questions though:
    1. Is it necessary to do all that mentioned in the article although insecure permissions seemed to be in only two files/directories (dynamic_avia, avia_fonts/fontello)?
    2. Where can I find these specific two mentioned above and change only their permissions?
    3. Why the permissions of these are 777 in the first place if we have to change them later?
    4. Is it true they will get back to being 777 after updating the Enfold theme?

    Kind regards,
    Pia

It seems to be working fine again, so you can close this topic. Thanks and have a nice week.

Yigit, you made may day! Or night, in this case.. :) it’s 2:30 o’clock here. I didn’t realize that my theme did not update itself automatically the way my WordPress version does. I feel so stupid, but also relieved. Thank you once again, you guys are the best!

    Hi Rikard,

we received confirmation from RG that both pixels are working now. Thank you so much, you guys rock! I’m definitely going to use Enfold theme in my next project as well.

    Have a nice weekend!

    Hi,

I saw that you got rid of the white space between menu bar and fullwidth slider on our Home page, but there when I went to see the code block content I noticed that the pixel code was the same as on the Thank you page. I thought no problem, I just change the pixel code for the Landing page instead, but then the extra white space appeared again on top of the Home page. I didn’t remove the Quick CSS code.

What did I do wrong, or what I can do to fix this? Sorry to bother you once again with this…

    Hi Rikard,

thanks for your quick response. We got two pixels from ResearchGate, one for landing page (home page) and one for our thank you page (for submitting a session proposal). I understood that both pixels should be placed between <head> and </head> tags. I tried adding them to the code block element like you suggested. Once we did that, ResearchGate sent us a test link and after a dummy submission they told us that the thank you page pixel works fine but the landing page pixel does not.

Is this because I put the code block as the first element on the page on thank you page but not on the home page? The reason why I didn’t put the code block as the first element on the home page was that it made an extra white space between our menu bar and our Fullwidth Easy Slider. I didn’t know how to prevent that from happening. On thank you page the extra white space was not a problem.

I removed the non-working pixel from our home page (code on the private content of this message). Is there some way to put the code block on top as the first element of the page – if that is the key issue here – without adding the white space between menu bar and the slider? Or do you have some other suggestions what I should do?

    Best regards,
    Pia
