    Hi Rikard, thanks for your reply.

    It actually was the error log: the file ‘debug.log’ in wp-content folder. That’s the file you mean, right? I only set up debugging in WordPress after the reply from Rankmath, so that was the reason that the log only contained one line. I don’t know how to upload the debug.log file here, but it still hasn’t many entries. I’ll paste them here:

    In the meantime Rankmath replied to my problem and they solved it. Their reply:

    The issue is caused by a corrupted schema on your homepage. We have gone ahead and removed it and added a new Article schema with the default settings. Perhaps the former schema article schema on the homepage was corrupted during the duplication process. We removed that schema and created a new one. Regarding the debug log error with action_scheduler_run_queue, it’s likely unrelated to the schema issue. However, if you see this error persist, we recommend checking with your hosting provider as it could be linked to WordPress scheduling tasks.

    Now my homepage works flawlessly again. But in the meantime I realised something. I built my new website with the Enfold theme a few months ago. I can remember that I had this original issue before, the issue I mention in my opening post here (not being able to edit homepage and being forced to duplicate the homepage). As I think of it, I don’t think I was even using Rankmath at that time. The issue was that I suddenly couldn’t open my homepage in the backend editor anymore. All other pages I still was able to edit. The solution back then was to duplicate the homepage. That went without problems. But when the issue came up again a few days ago, I tried the same solution: duplicating the homepage. But this time I used Rankmath and it all went wrong. Perhaps it was my own mistake, because after duplicating I messed around with the slugs of the original home page and the duplicate. I may have broken something. Or maybe Rankmath has a problem with duplicating a homepage, I don’t know.

    Anyway, thanks to the Rankmath support everything is well again. But my original problem, that started it all (not being able to edit homepage and being forced to duplicate the homepage) still worries me. But since everything is ok now, I can’t deal with that.

    Maybe you have an idea what the cause of the original problem was? Maybe an insight if the above mentioned debug log error with action_scheduler_run_queue is related?

    Hi Ismael. The error log only has a few entries:

    [31-Oct-2024 21:27:32 UTC] Cron reschedule event error for hook: action_scheduler_run_queue, Error code: invalid_schedule, Error message: Event schedule does not exist., Data: {"schedule":"every_minute","args":["WP Cron"],"interval":60}

    Hey Ismael. Sorry for my late reply. But I found out that the problem might have to do with the Rankmath plugin, although I’m not sure. The following happened:

    I’ve duplicated the homepage, like you said. After that I was able to edit the duplicate, but still not the original homepage. I then changed the WordPress title ‘Home’ of my original homepage into ‘Home2’ and changed the slug into ‘home2’. After that I changed the title of the duplicate homepage ‘Home (copy)’ into ‘Home’ and changed the slug to ‘home’ and I published the page.

    First I got a notification in WordPress backend from Rankmath that a slug was changed and that I could set a new redirection. I deleted my original homepage and deleted the redirection, associated with that old homepage, in Rankmath. It didn’t go smooth. I can’t recall exactly, but the notification kept coming, although I clicked it away. After that I checked the title and slug from the new homepage again and everything seemed fine.

    I now CAN edit the new homepage, but when viewing my homepage in a browser I get a critical error: “There has been a critical error on this website.” The only solution is disabling Rankmath, then the homepage works fine again. I only have a few plugins. I have deactivated all and then reactivated each one individually. Only Rankmath gave this critical error.

    I don’t understand what went wrong. I’ve used Rankmath (free) without problems for two months, but now it suddenly causes a critical error. Somehow I think I messed up with changing slugs or redirections, but I don’t know how. But there’s also the weird problem that started it all: not being able to edit the original homepage, but being able to edit the duplicate.

    Because the problem now seems to be related to Rankmath, I have contacted their Support. So I sent them the error log and I’m waiting for their reply. I will come back to you when I have more answers. Could you keep this topic open for now please?

    @Yigit That worked beautifully! Thanks also @Ismael

    in reply to: Replace the word “ALL” in portfolio filter doesn’t work #1467868

    Hi Ismael. I’m using the Masonry for my portfolio. Page URL in private field.

    Wow, that worked beautifully. :-) With the stretched background image and a few regular animated buttons from the Enfold theme I was able to recreate the overall feel and animation of my previous LayerSlider. My website: https://wta.nl/

    With LayerSlider my score on PageSpeed Insights was 54 (mobile), even after taking most performance measures I could think of. Without LayerSlider, so with my new setup with the stretched bg image and animated buttons, my score went up to 74 (mobile) instantly. And when I also deactivated LayerSlider in the Enfold Layout Builder (but leave plugin files), my score even went up to 83 for a moment, and later around 76. But still, a great improvement. And I even imported an additional Google Font! Amazing.

    I don’t know yet what it does for my Google ranking, because page ranking is my next step to discover, but in any case my page speed won’t hurt it too much anymore. So thanks for the help @Ismael

    Hey @Ismael. Did you change my settings? Because all of a sudden the Background Repeat option is visible! And it works! So if you did it, thank you very much. And if you didn’t, I don’t know what happened, but I’ll take it. Thanks!

    Hi @Ismael. Thanks for your reply. I’ve checked again, but I don’t see this option. Can you please check? Login in private field.

    Hi @Guenni007. That works perfectly! Now ALL images on my homepage and portfolio don’t show a tooltip anymore. Great stuff! Thanks a lot!

    in reply to: Disable image title tooltip on hover #1467224

    Hey Mike. Thanks again. The code works, but only on my homepage. Not on my portfolio page. I’ve included my login in Private Content. Appreciate it!

    I have installed a child theme after all, because it was super easy to do, and imported the parent settings. Everything works great. But… the php code still doesn’t work in functions.php in the child theme.

    I first tried the code from the Enfold documentation page:

    function remove_title_attr(){
    ?>
     <script>
    jQuery(window).on('load', function(){
    jQuery('#wrap_all a').removeAttr('title');
    jQuery('#wrap_all img').removeAttr('title');
    });
     </script>
    <?php
    }
    add_action('wp_footer', 'remove_title_attr');

    That had no effect. Then I tried the modified code found on this forum page: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/hide-titles-and-descriptions-when-you-hover-on-images-or-thumbnails-of-galleries/#post-981936

    function remove_title_attr(){
    ?>
    <script>
    jQuery(window).load(function(){
      jQuery('#wrap_all img.avia_image, #wrap_all .avia-gallery-thumb img, #wrap_all .avia-gallery-thumb a').removeAttr('title');
    });
    </script>
    <?php
    }
    add_action('wp_footer', 'remove_title_attr');

    That didn’t work either. The tooltip still shows up when hovering an image. Hope you can help.

    Thanks Mike. But do I really need a plugin to implement the code, or can I just paste the code in Enfold’s functions.php through the WordPress editor?

    Also: could you please post the correct code here? Because I’ve seen several versions of this code.

    Ah, I found it. I didn’t set a Featured Image and couldn’t find where to do it. I finally found it in the page Settings: the Settings button on the top right of the screen, and then Portfolio Entry > Featured Image.

    Took me a few hours to find it. :-)

    in reply to: Site title as H1? #1467020

    Thanks Mike! I see that I have a bit of studying to do, but your reply helps me on my way. Thanks again!

    in reply to: Site title as H1? #1467002

    Hi Mike. I’m not sure I understand you completely (English is not my native language). I always thought that the site title, which I wrote in the WordPress General Settings > Site title (this is the ‘tab title’ which you are referring to?), is a H1 tag automatically, which would show in the page source code. And I also thought that this site title is the most important for SEO. Are you saying that this isn’t correct?

    Does this mean that I must always use a page title, such as ‘Portfolio’ on the Portfolio page? I’d rather not do that, to be honest, because it doesn’t look good. Do I actually need a H1, and if so, can I use any text on the page, no matter font size, as a H1?

    Sorry for my noob questions. :-)

    in reply to: Site title as H1? #1466996

    Hi Mike. Thanks for your reply. I’m building my website https://wta.nl/ (under construction) using the template from the classic Enfold demo. It has a site title, but in the homepage source code I can’t find the h1 tag anywhere near the <title> tag.

    in reply to: Horizontal line next to special heading? #1466907

    I found this solution in the forums. Add to Quick CSS under Enfold->General Styling:

    .special-heading-border {
    display:none !important;
    }

    It seems to do the trick for now.
