done it, managed to find this:
http://smallbusiness.chron.com/change-order-wordpress-header-menu-51015.html
it was under pages rather than menus as i thought it might poss be.
what i did was was used quick edit and then changed the order number to 10 for the blog page to get it to appear at the end. Sorted :-)
Step 4
Hover the mouse pointer over the first page title and click “Quick Edit.” Several editing options for that page appear on the screen. You’ll see an option labeled “Order,” which has a 0 in the text box.Step 5
Delete the 0 in the text box and enter the number that corresponds to the location where you want the title to appear. For example, if you want this title to appear third in the header menu list, enter “3.” Note that the number you enter won’t appear on the menu.But these are the main page headings, I haven’t set up any menus underneath the main page headings,
Aren’t main page headings different to menu heading?
I would like to move the blog page heading one place to the right so it shows at the far right of my main page headings, instead of having case studies at the end.
Please see http://www.catalyst2change.co.uk
Thank you,
Paulthis is just a basic page (www.catalyst2change.co.uk) i am fiddling with to try and learn the theme, it is the page where i am having trouble getting the logo to display any bigger than 500 px wide by 79 high, in the header section, without any of it being chopped off.
thank you,
paulkept fiddling and kind of got the heading logo how i would like, i did it by inserting the image via the ‘upload custom background image’ as found in the enfold styling header options.
however, i had to resize the image down considerably, as it was overlapping the social media icons. didn’t mind this to a point as was prob too big in any case. but even when i resized it down from 1010px wide down to just 660 wide and 131px high, part of the image was being chopped off in the header. i have now shrunk it down to just 500wx79h pixels, but i think it’s a tad small. how can i set the logo to any size i want in this section without parts of it getting chopped please? is there any code i can use in the quick css section for example or something else i could do.
thank you kindly,
pauland none of these work either in quick css:
.logo img {
height: auto;
width: 1010px;
}or:
.logo img {
height: 200px;
width: 1010px;
}and neither does:
/*header with social icons: */
.social_header #header_main .container, .social_header .main_menu ul:first-child > li a { height: 200px; line-height: 200px; }So totally stuck right now :-(
i prefer the layout as stretched ideally.
is it not possible to simply add a custom header logo that it is either 1000px, or 1010 or even 1030px wide and 200px high. surely this can’t be that difficult to achieve. i tried the code you gave me and replaced the url with the following: http://www.catalyst2change.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/Cat2Change_headerbkgrnd.jpg and it just gave me a completely blank header. plus i wanted the header to remain stretched if poss rather than boxed, as like the blue colour to carry on right across the width of the page.
the customer requires a more snazzy header image rather than just a basic 340px * 156 logo, which just wouldn’t give me anywhere near enough space for the amount of stuff they want to have at the top of the page in a banner style graphic.
please advise the easiest way to add a custom header image.
i did also try adding an image in this section of the header section:
Custom Background Image
Upload a BG image for your Headerbut when i uploaded the image it did not show when i viewed the page in my browser.
as i said, the image will simply be around 1000px wide by 200 high.
thanks,
paulThis reply has been marked as private.Sorry sounded straight forward but still a little stumped after accessing Appearance > Menus.
The pages I wish to sort in a different order (in the top navigation header) are pages rather than menus, they are as follows:
Home
Services & Clients
Business Effectiveness
People
Practices
Processes
About Us
Contact
BlogIn order to do this do I need to (from within Appearance > Menus) do the following:
1) Create a menu
Then what is best for these settings? Which do I check? All options are marked with an * below:
Menu Settings
Auto add pages
* Automatically add new top-level pages to this menuTheme locations
* Enfold Main Menu
* Enfold Secondary Menu
(Will be displayed if you selected a header layout that supports a submenu here)
* Enfold Footer Menu
(no dropdowns)———————
Then:
2) I guess I then add all of my pages (i.e. blog, home etc) to the newly created menu so I can then order them as I wish.Bit confused, sorry about this.
Thanks,
PaulThank you, that was nice and easy. :-)
And how about changing the size please as above: “also, can you change the size of the page heading links please as well as at present they are quite small?”
Thanks again,

best wishes,
paulcan send you a screen shot if you need as not sure if you’ll still have a version of I.E 8 readily available to test. not unless you have a holiday home in a 3rd world country that is! :-)
January 14, 2014 at 1:37 am in reply to: changing the header page link colours so not quite so dark grey #209267that is brilliant, very pleased thank you.
is there any way also to change the link colours in the footer for the following:
INTERESTING LINKS
PAGES
CATEGORIES
ARCHIVEthey are grey, again would ideally like to lighten the colour to at least an off white.
thanks,

that has changed the colour of the text at the top of the page, i.e. Catalyst2Change – Making Change Happen
is there also a way to change the social media button so they are lighter in colour as well please?
thanks again,

“also, would like to lighten the other grey text in the header such as the social media links, the search button icon and the strapline at the top which says Catalyst2Change – Making Change Happen.”
please advise…

thanks,
paulDecember 23, 2013 at 2:51 am in reply to: how can you add a tagline or subheading to all pages for the enfold theme #203156hi there,
would normally just go under where the enfold logo is, for example, if you go to settings and and general within WP, you have the site title and underneath you get the tagline text, i would like if poss for the tagline text to be displayed across all pages somewhere underneath where the main logo is.
thanks for your help…
cheers,
paulThanks Devin, really useful. Looks just what I need. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
Best wishes,
Pauli meant to say above “i don’t really mind the site being down for a week or two as it doesn’t get that much traffic (even if it is isn’t ideal),” i said above “even if it is ideal” which is the total opposite to which i meant to say! sorry for any confusion.
