best regards
philipphey rikard,
here is an example page:
http://musikwerkstatt-eden.de/klavierlehrer/on this page every teacher is one post. i deactivated the links and display them with the blog post element. i would like to have a lightbox effect on the images.
best regards
philipphi,
moving some elements helped a lot, the recreated page looks good now, but the socket is still full width…
regards
philipphello,
i created another page and copy-pasted the content. the result is even worse:http://www.tangoneando.de/screenshots/page-duplicate.jpg
indeed it seems as if there would be a tag missing. but i checked the code several times and couldn’t find any mistakes. how is it possible, that the same code produces different results on different pages?
i also updated the theme.
best regards
philipphello,
i made too screenshots:
1, wrong: http://www.tangoneando.de/screenshots/wrong-socket.jpg
2. correct: http://www.tangoneando.de/screenshots/correct-socket.jpgexplanation: it seems, as if the socket is behaving like a full-width socket, e.g. with a top menu. but like this it is partly hidden by the menu on the left.
best regards
philipphey elliot,
unfortunately you didn’t refer to my question:
“what lines / names in the section-php do i have to change so that i really ADD a new elemnt instead of modifying an old one. would be great, if you could add some more instruction to the tutorial i posted above.”best regards
philippthanks elliot,
i changed it to
.aktuelles-bild {
width: 300px
}now it works fine!
Hi Elliott,
unfortunately that didn’t help, I still get the same error.
Regards

PhilippSeptember 27, 2014 at 10:56 pm in reply to: Images and Icons disappeared after update to wordpress 4.0 #326036hey Josue,
thanks a lot for the help. i seems, that you solved the problem. can you tell me what caused the issue with the images?
however, there is still some confusion: when i log in to the admin area, all the plugins are deactivated but the site is nonetheless perfectly displayed. i don’t know how that might be possible…
best regards

i did exactly that, deactivating all plugins and reinstalling wordpress 4.0 (frome the admin panel), but that didn’t change anything. how can i fix the js errors?
the icons i refer to are not the ones in the top-bar, but the ones in the avia iconlist.

philippApril 22, 2014 at 1:01 pm in reply to: Advanced Layout builder loads forever after recent update #254298hey yigit,
thanks for the hint, it appeared, that WPML (as usual) caused the problem. god, this plugin causes more problems, than it solves….think i will switch to a mulitisite solution like mulitlingual press or the Multisite Language Switcher. do you have any recommendations?
regards
philippThanks Ismael, that worked perfectly :)
hey,
2) of course you were right, so this works fine now. one last minor problem: in the porfolio grid the title of the portfolio-entry is displayed centered below the image. that works fine in the german version, however, in the translations the alignment somehow changes to alig: left.
1) that is very weir: as you said, the http://berlinguitartrio.de/?product=berlinguitartrio-au-coeur-de-loreille is displayed perfectly. in the permalink setttings i chose the default permalinks for products, so actually this exact link should be applied to the product on the shop page. unfortunately that is not the case, no matter how i change the permalinks (i also saved the shop page after that), the link assigned to the product always stays: http://berlinguitartrio.de/product/berlinguitartrio-au-coeur-de-loreille/
that can’t be a fault of my hoster, right?best regards
philipphey dude,
thanks a lot, that obviously worked on the biography page. but there is still one thing: on each of the portfolio-entries:
http://berlinguitartrio.de/portfolio-de/aurelie-oliveros/
http://berlinguitartrio.de/portfolio-de/david-bartelt/
http://berlinguitartrio.de/portfolio-de/philipp-niedrich/there should be the same portfolio-grid. in german is displayed nicely but when i switch from german to french or english, the grid isn’t displayed any longer…
when i logged in today i was really amazed, since it seemed, that you switched the permalink-settings to “pretty” again, something that i had to change because of several problems that occured. now everything seems to work fine, thanks a lot for that additional service :)
unfortunately, that caused another problem: the woocommerce shop is now displayed, but when i click on the single product that i offer, i get a 404 error:
http://berlinguitartrio.de/product/berlinguitartrio-au-coeur-de-loreille/thanks again for the great support, i really appreciate your help! your doing a great job!
best regards
philippHey,
there was a server problem on my page, they fixed it and it’s back to normal speed. Would be glad, if you could try it again.
Best regards
PhilippThis reply has been marked as private.hey,
i switched to several other themes and the problem still appears, that is pretty confusing since everything was working fine a few weeks ago. then i updated the enfold theme and the portfolio issues occured. then i didn’t check for the products, but obviously the fault has to be somewhere else…
can it be, that the wordpress update to version 3.8.1 caused the problem? i googled for this issue but couldn’t find a solution :/
would be glad for any hint!
best regards
philippThanks Peter,
everything seems to work fine, I can live with the little restriction ;)

PhilippThis reply has been marked as private.Hi Peter,
if I reset the permalinks to default everything works fine. But actually I would prefer the postname-format. Is there any possability?
Regards,
PhilippHi,
unfotunately I discovered another problem:
Everything is fine but when I reduce the width of the browser window to less than 767px, the code doesn’t apply any longer and the table looks like a standard table once again.
Regards
PhilippThanks for the correction Devin, a very stupid mistake from me, sorry to have bothered you with that.
Best regards
PhilippHi Yigit,
the code works fine, when I start with a bigger browser window (>990) and then reduce it. But when the window is smaller (<767px) in the beginning and I start to make it bigger, the logo gets cut on the right side…
Regards Philipp
Hi Ismael,
I set up a test page for you:
http://berlinguitartrio.de/?page_id=3505The left table has the konzerte_table css class, the right one doesn’t have any class, nonetheless they look the same. This code I added to my custom css file:
.avia-table.konzerte_table th, td, tr {
border-left-width: 0px;
border-right-width: 0px;
vertical-align: middle;
}Apart from the class problem I don’t understand, why there is still a border on the left side. Could you as well provide me with the correct code, so that all the vertical borders are not displayed.
Thanks an best regards
PhilippHi Ismael,
your code works perfectly, thanks :)
There is just one little problem left:
On my monitor the logo-size switches at certain window sizes. One switch is at 767px (is fine, due to your code), another one is around 990px.Between 990px and 767px the logo is 221px width, which is a bit too much, 200 would be better, and the main problem is, that the vertical align is not in the middle, what looks pretty bad.
Thanks for your help and best regards
PhilippUnfortunately that made it even worse, since the logo gets cut in two ways now. Still at the right side, but now as well on the bottom. But you are on the right way I guess. I modified the code and that helped:
@media only screen and (max-width: 480px) {.logo, .logo a, .logo img { max-height: 116px; min-width: 289px; }
Now the whole “BerlinGuitarTrio” is displayed. I’m almost satisfied, but the text is unfortunately a bit wider than the responsive menu (268px). I would love them to lign up to each other. Or to center the “BerlinGuitarTrio”. I tried that by adding position:absolute; left: – 10px;, but that only cut the logo on the left ;)
Regards
PhilippHi,
I was wondering about the editor-thing, because suddenly everything that I tried out before worked ;) Finally I figured out that you probably changed something.
Thanks a lot Peter, you did a great job and solved two problems at once :)
