I did as well, but then the background images disappeared again. Not sure why it’s working now.

No, Enfold is the problem. One should be able to activate minification (with a widely used plugin ór the inbuild compression under Enfold->Performance).
The background images disappear the moment you activate compression under Enfold->Performance. So something is not working in Enfold.

@guenni007: can you elaborate on this a bit further? I don’t get it working.
I put the ‘Random BG-Image’ in functions.php (child theme).
I added the class ‘randomized’ to the section.
I uploaded the images to the folder.
But I’m still seeing the image I selected in the Advanced Layout Builder on the page.

It looks like it the ‘a3 Lazy Load’ plugin that’s causing this.
