Hi Nikko!

I saw that with the WP 5.5 update, this functionality as the plugin previously did (Update Theme and Plugins from Zip File) is now a part of the WordPress core. I chose to update via the wordpress dashboard -theme, add new theme, then install “overwrite existing installation” in WordPress instead. Everything works now as it should.

Hi Nikko

I updated through FTP (FileZilla) by overwriting the existing version which was Enfold (version 4.6.2). Since it could not be done via the tool “update” in Enfold console under WordPress 5.5

Hi Nikko! Many thanks for the help in fixing the problem. Do you think I should download a new copy from themeforest to rule out the possibility that it went wrong with the previous download? Sincerely, CJ //
