January 21, 2019 at 11:46 am in reply to: Editing or adding catalogues lets whole sections of the page disappear #1056539
I have issues with the catalog element as well. when i try to enter the seperate items in the catalog, the ‘list item description’ shows as empty (even though there is text in it), and when i go from visual to text tab, it shows the whole text for the entire page. I cannot edit anything, or add anything. Please help (tried to start a new post but was unable to find that option, sorry). i have a screenshot but there is no option to add that either at present? Updated to enfold 4.5.2 recently, the catalog element seems very buggy, the Preview is not showing any edits either (it does show on the right side when the catalog element is open though).

so i add the css code in the Quick Css in the Enfold theme? and if in Quick Css, how do i make sure this one is separated from my other Quick css i have there?
Tnx, i will try that, but my question remains how come this does work with logo left, menu below but not with logo right, menu below? And it did work that way before the previous update?
i just changed it, it would be nice if this could be short term as the website header looks awful now
November 30, 2017 at 10:39 am in reply to: Enfold 4.1.2 update menu header not on right side #883316I just tried the most recent update, the issue as mentioned above is still there. So i have to keep using the logo with menu below it on the left while i still want the logo with menu below it on the right. How come this is not fixed yet?
I am at present in touch with wordfence to see why you cannot see the website, considering Austria is not blocked, nor are there specific url’s blocked. They asked for a screenshot when you try to visit the website, so they help determine what is going wrong and how it can be fixed. Can you please provide a screenshot like that?
I have enabled austria in my security settings. I find it beyond believe that Kriesi asks for all security to be disabled. In this day and age, you should know better. Provide me with a URL and i will put it on the whitelist.
DO NOT EVER ASK FOR SECURITY TO BE DISABLED!!!!! WTF????????
Hi Ismael, can you give me the IP address from where you want to access it, and do you need to log into the site? Let me know so i can fix these issues
i just checked and changed it back it is still doing it, so i did the workaround again. Is there CSS possible to put the logo on the left, the menu below it and the header image on the right? If i set it up like that in the theme, the menu appears on the left inside/at the bottom of the header image.
Like i said, i did the workaround so the issue won’t show. If you need it to show, let me know when so i can make the adjustment to make it visible
i would like to know as well, as i too have been notified of just this problem/issue on my website
January 20, 2017 at 1:13 pm in reply to: Category in blog post, add it and delete it from the main blog page #736415i added the code, this is what i got next when i tried to use the website:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘&’ in /home/fin-planning.nl/public_html/offermansvangemert.nl/wp-content/themes/enfold/functions.php on line 578
i managed to get into the functions file and delete it again, but not happy about it. any other suggestions?January 17, 2017 at 11:38 am in reply to: Category in blog post, add it and delete it from the main blog page #734650I tried saving in the default editor. The only thing that shows then is all the default elements but my entire blog itself is no longer showing. So that is not a solution.
How is that default catogory and tags added (what code is used) so that i can try to add that into my code block in the advanced layout editor?
January 16, 2017 at 12:16 pm in reply to: Category in blog post, add it and delete it from the main blog page #733996Yes i am using the advanced layout editor. So what code do i need to add to enable WP/Enfold to show the category? If it is showing in the non-advanced layout editor, there is code for it. I have searched a lot, but have not found anything that works yet.
January 15, 2017 at 2:46 pm in reply to: Category in blog post, add it and delete it from the main blog page #733747I still need help getting the category of the blog to show on the actual blog itself. Even though i have ticked what i think needs to be ticked, no info is showing on the actual blog post. What do i need to do to get it to show?
January 11, 2017 at 2:24 pm in reply to: Category in blog post, add it and delete it from the main blog page #732054Yes i have a lot ticked, including the categories. However they do not show in my blog post themselves at all. See a screenshot of my settings in the first dropboxlink below.
The second dropboxllink shows where i would want to add the category if i have to use css to add it (in the layout i have already added the Code Block for it). If somehow it can be added with the right settings, i will be fine with that.
Tnx for the support and answers (y), this just really baffles me….
January 10, 2017 at 11:59 am in reply to: Category in blog post, add it and delete it from the main blog page #731516That first one worked great, thank you!
My second question. If i am in one of the blogs, nowhere does it show the category of that blog. I want it to show on the blog itself. So what CSS can i use that the blog itself shows the category of that specific blog. I want to add it using the content element Code Block that i have added to the post itself. I have searched for the correct css but have not found the correct code that will make it show.
my mentioning of the breadcrumbs: if you add that then the category is one of the parts that show. I do not want the breadcrumb because it shows the full path where someone is and that is to much text. If there is code that can change the breadcrumb into showing only the category, that would be fine too (but only for the blog posts!)
